Serrano Cleaning Services

The Serrano crew has cleaned our house bi-weekly for the last six weeks -- thoroughly and efficiently. Their routine includes everything we need but excludes special services we would not expect as a routine, anyway (windows, sliding glass doors, outdoor living areas). The most valuable differentiators of David's cleaning service are (1) his supervision with quality assurance review after the crew is finished, (2) that all the work is completed within one hour, which frees up my time because I don't have to stay at home for four hours while one person completes all the work, and (3) David's scrupulous communication -- calling the day before to confirm time and any other necessary information. We intend to continue using Serrano Cleaning.

Mr. David Serrano was very polite on the phone and explained that he is not looking for new business and has to drop current customers since his workload is very burdensome. He explained that his 5-crew company does not make beds / clean sliders / clean baseboards / clean cabinets; he stated that his crew is not to be inconvenienced by homeowners performing activities of daily living in the house (i.e. eating, laying down, working in office, or anything else for that matter) nor distracted by pets or visitors while his crew is cleaning. He also stated that he does not accept any cancellations except for two occurrences per annum, otherwise he will drop us as customers. He stated that he cannot accommodate any changes in his schedule, so if we needed him to come on a different day / time or switch between weekly, biweekly or monthly, it could not be allowed. Given all of this, we felt that we would be too much of an inconvenience for his company. This is fine, we are glad he was honest with us and told us how he felt off the bat, so we will be looking elsewhere.

Wow! A company that actually does what they say they are going to do. And no hassle! My wife recently had two surgeries on her foot and is in no shape to do housework. Yes, I'm picking up the slack but can't do everything so I consulted Angies List for housekeeping services. David Serrano seem to stand out from the rest of the services. He had many happy customers. We called David and he answered promptly. He made an initial appointment with us (walked in with a business card) and arrived on time. He's very busy but fortunately was able to fit us in on a limited basis. We made an appointment for cleaning and again he called and showed up on time with his crew. They were in and out in no time and did a very good job. Highly recommended. I hope my wife gets well enough to do housekeeping again but I would not hesitate to hire David on a permanent basis.

It was great! The team came in...made a plan after seeing the house. They all had areas and worked very effenciently!

David and his staff generally arrive promptly and get right to work. They do a great job and are always friendly. They are very efficient and my home always looks good after they have come.

David Seranno and his cleaning staff is quite professional in conducting their cleaning duties. Everything they accomplish in a clean was explained to me in detail at the start of the process. They do an excellent job with the general housecleaning process. The only part that has caused a minor concern with me is the way they leave my rooms/ accessories throughout the home. This may seem like a small detail to many but when you have to go through the home and make sure all shutters are closed so they won't warp; make sure all lights are turned off in areas such as furnace rooms so light fixtures don't burn out; and put all table and wall unit accessories back in place, it takes the fun out of the 1 hour clean. I have a 4,200 sf home and they do spend 1:15 in my home but I have spoken to them and asked if they would slow down slightly to get things back in order. I just talked to them recently so I will see. General housecleaning, they are excellent!! Would not say anything contrary to that evaluation.

The service was reliable and timely. They develop a relationship p between what they do and what you want done. I llike that they come in a group with Mr. Serrano, they rotate which room each person does, and they work quickly and efficiently. Thus they still learn my home and cleaning needs, are consistent and efficient. They keep to their schedule and are pleasant to relate to. Mr. Serrano is an excellent and ethical manager. If there is any questions, a simple communication with Mr. Serrano clarifies the issue. His assistants work well together, and to my pleasure they occasionally sing a pleasant melody while they work. They are trustworthy and respectful of furniture and treasures. I highly recommend Mr. Serrano and his service. Cleaning has never been easier or more efficient in the various ways I have had service.

I always like coming home after David has cleaned the house. It just looks like a new house and smells so good. I completely trust them and because of my schedule have given him access and I feel totally comfortable with him in my home.

We have been using Serrano Cleaning Services for five months now. We have been very pleased with their quality of work in our home. They are very thorough in our home and take the time to ensure that all areas of the house are clean. Communication with the provider has been excellent. I always get a courtesy reminder text ,the night before a scheduled cleaning day to confirm. Overall our experience with Serrano Cleaning has been very pleasant . David and crew are prompt and they do an excellent job. Each week they rotate a deep cleaning on items that build up (floor boards, windows etc) and clean the floors, vacuum, clean kitchen and bath rooms, dust and attend to any items that we ask for special attention. I have had many leaning crews or maids over the years but none as pleasant and thorough as David Serrano Cleaning.

David and his team are great! I had tried several companies before contracting with David. My floors SPARKLE when they are done!

Getting them to come out on a regular basis was a little difficult. When they were there they did a good job, was even told that he (david) had a lot of experience working with the elderly. After finally making it back out on June 19th, David called me to let me know he could no longer clean my dads house because of the smoking. Would have been nice to know this cleaning service does not clean homes because of cigarette smokers in the beginning. Have had a couple services in the past over a ten year period and hearing this complaint is a first. Final result, I need to start over with another company, but hoping I can get someone who can make it out on a regular basis. My overall rating for this company is a B

Called several services and finally decided on Serrano Cleaning. David was very professional on the telephone and loved their rates. I have them come out every other Thursday and I'm just so happy. David and the girls came in, introduced themselves and got right to work. They didn't miss a thing! Everything is spotless. The relief I feel is terrific. I was so worried about how I was going to find the time to do all this with our family's busy schedule . I'm so happy I called Serrano Cleaning!

I've hired cleaning services before, and this was the best service I've ever had. They were very thorough and cleaned everything in the apartment. They were fast as well; there were 4 people and it took about an hour. There weren't any issues. I've hired them to clean the apartment once a month.

Excellent! Mr. Serrano recommended a deep cleaning initially and then a standard cleaning every 2 weeks. I love the way my house smells when they are through. He even brought to my attention that I might have a termite problem and to be sure to have it checked out. He and the ladies always arrive on time and are very efficient. I have recommended them to a few acquaintances.

Very responsive and professional cleaning services by David and his team. David always calls ahead the day before to let us know he is coming. We have been using the services of his company for over six months now and we are very satisfied with the results. The team takes about 1.5 to 2 hours to clean our whole house.

David Serrano and his team of cleaning ladies have cleaned my home several times now. David initially responded to my inquiry with prompt courtesy. We agreed upon a price and a monthly cleaning schedule. The price was negotiated and fair to both parties. After the initial deep clean, which was exceedingly thorough, David's team have kept my home sparkling clean. David always calls the evening before my cleaning day and always arrives on time. Mr. Serrano was prompt when returning my initial call. Called to re-confirm the night before. Called again about 20 minutes out. Professional from start to finish! Introduced his entire staff, went over all expectations and then went to work! I couldn't have asked for better service.

I was in the need of a cleaning service to clean my rental house. Mr. Serrano was in constant contact with my and his crew of 4 showed up and completed the job in an hour. I was very happy with the service and will use them in the future as needed.

I began contracting services with Mr. Serrano's cleaning company starting around November 2011. They cleaned my home consistently until around February 2012. While I have no complaints about the quality of the actual cleaning service provided by Mr. Serrano's team, I do have reservations and a very negative experience with his professionalism, particularly in the handling of my account as his workload increased. As Mr. Serrano gained larger more lucrative clients he began treating me with what I experience as disrespect with regard to scheduling and the returning of my phone calls. Although he never returned my last phone call regarding scheduling, I am assuming that he has released me as a client. I find Mr. Serrano's treatment of my client account with him unacceptable although I wish him well with his new clients.

I had been using another Angie's List company who apparently went out of business and I needed someone to clean my house for the holidays. I called David, he called back promptly and we scheduled a date and time. On the day prior to the cleaning date, David called me to confirm. He gave me an approximate time he would arrive the next day. David and his team of three arrived promptly and went straight to work. Apparently, they have a system and it works great. The house was cleaned meticulously and the crew finished within 2 hours. David works personally along side his employees and supervises the entire job. They are efficient and cleaned all areas of the house as agreed. I was very pleased and have scheduled Serrano Cleaning for another cleaning. In addition to all the great service I was even able to get a discount using the coupon on Angie's List. I highly recommend Serrano Cleaning Services. You won't be disappointed!

Called and requested house cleaning services. Received a prompt call back. When my family was sick on the day agreed to clean, Mr. Serrano rescheduled our cleaning. The day of our cleaning, Mr. Serrano called after they were done and gave me a review of services that were done. Very professional. Great service. Awesome cleaning job. Highly recommend.
