Roof work OK Paul is a nice guy and good at roofing , During the estimate I requested aluminum installation of Soffit and Facia. He said he could do it. The workmanship is poor, nails have rusted after 1 year , lots of puckering and places exposed to wood facia board, So will have water damage for sure Worst issues though … HE has not CLOSED THE PERMIT. He did not respond to the BBB, or my attempts at email , text or phone call. I called the city to close out the permit myself...but I cannot . City of Tampa said I had to have the original contractor schedule the final inspection . And since he wont return my calls . The City of Tampa had no recourse for this . They replied " That is a Civil Matter " So to close the permit I have to file a claim in the Hillsborough County Courthouse ...so hire at your own risk

No written estimate. Rough figure, "It will cost you about $8,000." Ridiculous way to do business.

Initially, what made us decide on PDG were the excellent reviews on what they did, even cleaning the gutters when finished with the job; something I've never seen or heard of a roofer doing! When I called to get an estimate, Paul, the owner was friendly, personable and professional. When he came to give us the estimate, he told us that he was booked solid for 2 weeks but if anything came up, he'd contact us. Two days later he had his crew here and the roof over our sun porch was completed in one day. We've had a few rains since and we couldn't be happier. It is our humble opinion that PDG is the Gold Standard when it comes to roofing. Whether it's a new roof or repairing any prior inferior roofing jobs. PDG Roofing lives up to their reputation. Not only is the roof warrantied for 5 years, Paul told us that even if we sell the place, the warranty stays because he stands behind his work!
