The tarp leaked. I had originally requested that they re-roof my rental properties. They did not tell me there was a 6 month waiting list before I sent in a $2,000. They refused to return the deposit when requested. They subsequently installed a tarp that leaked, resulting in thousands of dollars in damages. They failed to release permits even after they received payment in full. These people are unscrupulous and their work is shoddy.

Now that we have finally gotten rain after months of it being so dry, a fix Schaper did back in October when it was really dry is of course not holding. They do not offer a warrantee, but had said personally to my husband their fix should hold 5-10 years. It has not even been one. Had to call the company out a second time as they did not fix the problem the first time as they said they would. Manger had said the workers would also walk the roof and fix any other screws that were misplaced or in incorrectly so we did not end up with other leaks later on. Hubby had checked the few the manger pointed out on his visit and those screws were never done. Hubby said just pay them the balance and never use them again. It should not require that many visits to have a simple fix taken care of. Moral of the story, don't have anyone fix a roof even a "simple fix" if they won't give you a warrantee till rainy season at the very least.

Doug was very knowledgeable. I love my new roof and the workers did a good job however, at the end of every day they would leave their burnt out cigarette buts in my yard and did a horrible job of cleaning up after themselves. Roofing nails and debris left behind.
