Recommended by current repair contractor because he doesn’t repair dryers. I reached out and was told he could be there Monday (today) between 9-10am. I advised I need to confirm the tenant will be home. I contacted her and checked a few more things to make sure he wouldn’t be wasting a trip. As soon as confirmed it needed parts which I did right away I called and got no answer so I left a voice mail. The tenant at this point was expecting him to be there between 9-10am because I confirmed she would be home. I texted asking for a price on what I thought the issue may be from experience and advised what trouble shooting we had done. No response. I tried calling and texting a few more times and no response. This was Sunday. I then told the tenant I have no clue if he will show up or not as he’s not responding but just in case please try to be there maybe his phones dead and I’ll keep calling. I tried again Monday and still nothing. I even called the person who recommended him and he said he doesn’t know why he won’t respond but will try to reach him for me. This is the second person he gave me who just didn’t feel like responding. so she waited and he never showed up. I’m considering this a no call no show since a time was offered and I called to confirm with tenant. It sucks because I was excited to have found a good repair company based on recommendation as we are always in need of repairs. We have 20 apartments not including our home and buying more all the time. I’ve struggled to find someone. I gabe 3 stars as this person has never done work for us so I can’t judge him on quality of work, price of work or warranty (which I kind of seen in the one review is typical where if the issue isn’t resolved and breaks again you get to pay full price again) . I can only hope the reason he ignored me was because aliens abducted him and wouldn’t give him is one call. Never know? Meanwhile I’ll keep looking i guess. And I’ll be happy to update my review if anything changes as I hate leaving crap reviews and only do so if I absolutely feel the need.

Mario knew exactly what was wrong within minutes of talking to me about the problem I was having with my refrigerator. Not only did he find and solve the issue, he also leveled my doors and made sure everything was in working order before he left. NEVER AGAIN 12/23/20 Repair was "performed" .... as per ticket - "SC Error (Drain error) Cleaned tub to pump hose and tested. Unit OK. No leak. ..... $120.00 now on 03/30/21, unit doing the same. Contacted the provider to request they come to check and refused unless I paid the full fee again. They said they did not have any obligation to return to evaluation of the same problem no matter how long it had been since repair was done.

The repair was quick, efficient and has lasted.

I would definitly use Chinchilla Appliance Repair again. Mario provided was able to make an appointment quickly to diagnose my microwave. He showed up right on time and called 30 min prior to arrive. He had all the tool to make a diagnosis quickly and provided all the details to what parts were needed. He is very friendly and knowledgeable.
