My husband and I rent out our home in Kingsland, GA. Our renters let us know there was a leak in the internal plumbing (master shower). Once the plumber fixed the leak we did not allow proper drying time before fixing the drywall causing a very serious mold issue. We called AdvantaClean and worked with Philly. He and his crew came out right away and gave us a quote for interior mold remediation. Philly went out of his way to help us work with our insurance company to have them help cover some of the cost of the mold damage. Because of his help, we only had to pay a fraction of the cost out of pocket. He and his crew worked directly with our renter to get the work done and continually updated us on the progress and any issues they came across during the clean-up. They are even treating surface mold for us before we put the drywall up this week to ensure we do not go through this again. This is honestly the best experience we've ever had working with a contractor. Philly's customer service and his willingness to go above and beyond put us at ease dealing with this issue from 5 hours away.

I emailed AdvantaClean yesterday for a price quote to clean the air return of our HVAC system. Steve Rossman promptly emailed me back with a quote of $150, plus they would throw in a dryer vent cleaning. He told me they would be in the area the next day, so we set the appointment up between 1:00 and 3:00. When I asked him if he would honor the Angie's list 5% coupon, he replied he would go one better and adjusted the total to $140. They called this morning at 10:30 and said they would be here at 11:00. Their team of four arrived at 11:00. Kicker explained to me what was involved. They blew a sanitizer through the return duct in the home and explained that it would kill any mold in the duct. Before they started the cleaning process, they put a piece of cardboard in the outside part of the duct to prevent any dust or debris from getting into the air handler. The cleaning took about an hour. While the crew was cleaning the air return duct, Kicker cleaned out the dryer vent. I knew it was dirty, but I had no idea just how dirty it really was. I watched as he pulled out wads of lint and then blew out large amounts of dust and lint. He gave me several suggestions on how to lessen lint buildup and suggested we have the vent cleaned once a year. That seems more than reasonable to me. When they finished cleaning the air return then showed me the dust and dirt their vac had pulled. Again, I knew it was dirty, but had no idea just how dirty. Each one explained everything he was doing, responded to my concerns, and was more than happy to answer all my questions. They were very professional, courteous, and respectful of me and our home. I will definitely use AdvantaClean in the future and will highly recommend them to anyone who asks. 12/10/2015: I am updating my review in light of some new developments. When we had a new HVAC system installed on 11/17, the installers told me our air handler return duct was very dirty and we should have it cleaned. They recommended two companies, one of which was AdvantaClean. We chose AdvantaClean because it had good reviews on Angie's List. My initial review (above) reflects our experience. We were well pleased and gave them a good review. Over the weekend we had some problems with our HVAC system so the installers came out on Dec. 4th. They had decided to replace our air handler return and supply ducts with larger ones. When they removed the filter from the air handler they showed it to me. . The filter was full of debris and had a large clump of dust/lint on it. The installer told me it looked like they did not cover the filter when they cleaned the return vent. I told him they had specifically told me they did cover the filter. Since the filter was ruined, I emailed Steve at AdvantaClean, explained the situation and attached three photos of the filter. He promptly emailed me back saying they would either reimburse me for, or, replace the filter. Later, when the HVAC techs pulled out the old ducts they told me the return duct was clean in some areas and very dirty in others. The consensus was that AdvantaClean had not done a very good job. I emailed Steve concerning the duct and suggested they check their equipment. Since we had had brand new ducts installed, we were OK, but the problem I see is that if we had not had problems with the HVAC we would have assumed our ducts were clean and would not have discovered the problem until it was time to change the filter six months to a year down the road. If there is a malfunction with their equipment, it could be months before people realized there was a problem. I mentioned this in several emails to Steve. He emailed me several times concerning the replacement filter, but never acknowledged the cleaning issue. We arranged for them to bring the new filter over on Dec. 9th, so I figured we would discuss the issue then. When I brought it up, I was told that I was the only person who had ever had a problem and that I should have not emailed, but called them while my ducts were being installed so they could have come over. I agree, I should have done that, but there is a problem with their process and because of the nature of the job, there is no real way to check on it's thoroughness unless you were to dissemble your vents so you could actually look into them. Before they left, they told me they would check out their equipment. I really felt as though they were saying that to humor me and believed there were no problems with either their equipment or their process. 01/01/2016: We replaced our dryer vent so we had the opportunity to inspect the old one which AdvantaClean had cleaned when they did our HVAC return duct. The dryer vent was pretty clean, so if that was the only service performed, I would have given them all "A's". I am also posting pictures of the return air vent filter which initiated my re-review of the company on Dec. 10th.

They couldn't have been more professional from start to finish. EXTREME pleasure working with such hardworking gentlemen who covered every step of what needed to be done and how they were going to do it. Cleaned up every inch of area they touched, better than it was to begin with! We are truly breathing better now both from having cleaner air coming through our system to having a top-notch job done and truly getting our moneys worth!

I’d give them five stars and a 10 across the board. If it wasn’t for them, I would not have a house. They saved my damp house. They were just good people. They are excellent at what they do from cleaning to everything. As matter of fact, they came out again and cleaned a contract messed up to. The owner and the people are honest. You don’t have to worry about thievery with your jewelry. I can’t say enough about them. They are great. Anything I can say to help them on Angie’s List is wonderful because Steve Rossman and his company are wonderful people. They do great work.

They did a great job. They were contracting for us on a house in Savannah. They gave us a reasonable rate. It was a quick service. I was happy with their service. What stood out about them was mostly the timing. The reason I went with them honestly was I needed the work done in a timely manner. We are trying to close on a house. We were selling our house. They were able to this. I don’t have any reason there. They were absolutely the best. They did a good job. I talked to them over the phone. I had very limited time. I just talked to the guy twice and that’s all. They did the service but it was remote. We live in North Carolina and the house was in Georgia so I was doing everything remotely.

STEVE FINISHED THE JOB IN ABOUT ONE HOUR. GAVE ME ADVISE ON KEEPING MY SYSTEM WORKING WELL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY MOLD REMOVAL SERVICES AND FOR AIR DUCT AND DRYER DUCT CLEANING.

It went very, very well. Three men arrived as expected and introduced themselves and explained what was going to happen. They attached this large machine to my air handler in my attic and then cleaned the duct with a whip like instrument. They than taped closed all the vents in the house and then they vacuumed all the dust from the air vents. This is no ordinary air duct cleaning operation. It took about half a day. One of the men tracked some dirt onto the carpet and had a rug cleaning machine and promptly cleaned the spot on the carpet. After they cleaned the ducts they swept up the floors. I would say it is best to call this company to get a proper explanation of their entire operation and what this process entails. As I said before this is not your everyday air duct cleaning job. I had air duct cleaning done at a different house before and there was more dust in my house than before they came. This is not the case with this company. They are worth every penny. I would highly recommend them.

..I was in RI, and was having air conditioning problem with my home in Ga. Had e-mailed and spoken to Michael Register about my problem. He said when I was in Ga. and ready for us to meet, to give him a call. I called when I got in Ga. , and Michael set up an appointment right away. He came exactly at the time he said. He checked the A/C system and explained in DETAIL , exactly what was going to be done. My air ducts were no working properly , and needed cleaning. He quoted a price, which I thought was quite reasonable. A week later, the truck and two A/C professionals were at the house at 8:30 am, half hour before the 9:00 appointment. Kicker and Joe were the most knowledgeable, experienced, efficient , and pleasant workers I have ever dealt with. Kicker explained and showed me what was going to be done during the process. He said I could watch and ask questions if I wanted. I saw no reason for that. They were very neat in what they did, and the placed had a new smell from the Biohazard Remediation. I THOUGHT I had a problem with one of the registers. I called Michael, and Kicker and Joe were at my house ASAP. It was my mistake. I would recommend this company and their service in a heartbeat. When the houses started being threaten by the flood waters Steve was out there. When we got the water in our houses he offered his services. He started right away and was there everyday until the job was done, he also was working on the house across the street from me and they were very happy with the job. They were very professional I felt very much at ease with them. Any time i called with a question they would always call back and helped me with whatever i needed. I was very impressed with them and would tell anyone to use them...
