cabinet refacing
 + -1 moreI am very pleased with the men who did the work. My BIG complaint is that the owner doesn't return phone calls, emails or text messages promptly. Often it took days and days for him to get back with me.
Description of Work: I had Jordon's cabinets reface all the cabinets in my kitchen and bathrooms. We also added some new cabinets. Also included in the price was granite countertops which they subbed out.

 + -1 morePOOR. I have told all of my neighbors about this horror story.
Description of Work: STAY AWAY!!! Steve took a order on 2/2/12 to reface my kitchen cabinets. We scheduled for the week of 5/14/12. He showed up and parked a trailer in my driveway with was more than 1/2 empty. He took off the doors and draws and started to install the laminate. He than missed a day or two stating the doors need to be finished (you would think they would be done by now). The doors were dropped off and they were the wrong doors. I talked to Steve and he said the company he got them from messed up. He asked if he can install the doors till the right ones come in. I said ok, it is better than no doors. A few months go by and I call Steve back and he said he messed up and will have the doors in a few weeks. He sent someone over to take pictures (i guess he did not remember what he needed). He had a guy come in and install the light rail that was missing from the bottom of the cabinets. That was the last I saw or heard from him. I still have 2 open spaces under the sink that have no door fronts on them.

 + -1 moreWe went with refacing instead of replacing our cabinets, for one because of the price. And two, we didn't want our kitchen torn up for months with a total replacement. We have children with severe food allergies and we were not able to eat out a lot. The whole experience was great, it was done fast and it looked great - for about a year. The covering they put on over the island is bubbling and coming apart. The cabinet doors under the sink are losing their stain in a good amount of the area. You can rub your finger over any cabinet door at the seam, and the stain rubs off. Not a very good product at all, especially in the kitchen. We had planned on having our master bathroom refaced, but not anymore. After several phone calls, they came out and took photos, and we haven't heard from them since, despite our phone calls and messages to them.
Description of Work: We had Jordon's reface our kitchen cabinets, and install new countertops.

 + 1 moreEnd result is good. Job coordination was not very good despite plenty of advance planning time. It's a small local business and seems to have more business than they can effectively handle.
Description of Work: Installed new kitchen cabinet doors as an alternative to refacing. Installed new (silestone) countertop.

I love the finished product and would recommend them to anyone who is looking to reface cabinets. it's an affordable way to update cabinets without having to replace, if your existing cabinets are in good condition (which mine were). There's many different options to choose from and Jordon's worked with me to find the exact look/design that was perfect for my kitchen and bathrooms.
Description of Work: I had my kitchen cabinets refaced in addition to both bathroom cabinets.
