Awful. He took our money $3600 and never did the job. He would not return calls. He cashed two checks up-front. Be aware that he told us the first check was on hold so we wrote a 2nd check so he could begin the work then he cashed both and never worked.

Dustin was slightly lower in price than another bid. He had a somewhat challenging assignment as our paint had deteriorated badly. During the job, I realized I needed some stucco repaired and he, very helpfully, arranged for a stucco guy, who did an excellent job. My complaints: 1) the house wasn't adequately covered. There were numerous thin areas. One section of wall behind bushes was left entirely unpainted. I had to call him back for touchups and applied more than 1 gallon of touchups myself. There are still thin areas. 2) Dustin charges for things other painters include in their bid, such as painting the mullions in french doors. After considering this, he was the same price as the other painter. 2) he uses ICI paints. This in itself is not a problem, however the color pallete I was required to use by my HOA is Sherwin Williams. So, ICI did a decent, but not exact, match to the SW color. But worse than this, the store he does business with, and that keeps the exact color details, is not open on Saturdays! So, good luck getting to the store to buy more paint if you need it (as I did). Then, to top it off, when I went to buy a gallon of the exterior paint, they mismatched the color, and didn't match their previous batch! This cost me $25. I probably could have gotten ICI to fix their mistake, but guess what - again, they are closed on Saturdays, the only day I was home.

The quality of the painting is excellent. He uses both spray and rollers, and everything looks great. He wasn't always right on time, but he always worked hard, and got the job done well. I would use him again.
