Creative Remodeling of Orlando

Mark was such a pleasure to work with. He has a great thing going with Creative Remodeling of Orlando. We had a few other window quotes, but Mark came in significantly lower. Not only was his price spot on, but his service and professionalism were untouchable. Mark stayed in constant communication throughout our project and still is checking in to make sure we are satisfied! He scheduled the permit inspection which was handled without a hitch, which was so very helpful. We would recommend Mark and his team to everyone and anyone we can tell about.

They have an excellent team that has been with them for 25 years. We signed a contract for the siding & a few repairs. It took them 9 full days to completely take off the old siding, replace the necessary items, and redo the siding. They came everyday at 6:30 and started promptly at 7. They brought their own generator & dumpster. They checked were the sprinklers were so the dumpster didn't damage anything. They were absolutely fabulous!!

I contacted Creative Remodeling in early April about installing vinyl siding, soffit, fascia and replacing an old gutter. Brian came out on the 6th of April and gave me the estimate. In going over the work plan he pointed out things he had included to be done that I had not even thought about. This included opening up the soffit for better ventilation and replacing a long run of soffit along my patio room overlooking he pool. The reason being that the old soffit had been installed wrong as Brian explained to me. Given Brian's even keel demeanor and professional approach to making and explaining the estimate. I was comfortable that CRO had earned all the high ratings I had seen on Angie's List. From other research, I felt that the price for the work was well with in reason. Even more surprising was the fact that there was no partial payment required up front. In fact I paid for the work about a week after the entire project was completed. In signing up for the work, Brian did explain that it would be a few weeks before they would start due to a major effort they were working on at the time. This was not a problem for me so the contract was signed The day before starting the job, Greg and two of the crew came by and dropped of two trailers with equipment needed to do the work. The next morning the five member crew arrived shortly before 7 am and by 1 pm had completed about 60% of the work, If one of the workers had not felt ill, they might have completed the total job in one day. Everyone was working like beavers while doing a very professional installation. There was no cutting corners here. The next day, they again arrived about 7 am and finished up the vinyl siding etc.by the early afternoon. The gutter installation was done separately a week later by another individual, I am well pleased with final result. I should have done this years ago as many of my neighbors did. Much less up keep to the outside of the house and added insulation to reduce the heat load. I can't say enough about the whole crew as to their courtesy, quality of work and dedication to getting the job done right. I would certainly recommend them to others.

Could not have been more pleased with the professional work done and the expertise of the CRO salesman/general contractor, Brian. This job required multiple inspections, scheduling of different work crews, and coordinating lots of details. Brian made things flow smoothly, on time, and was very responsive to answering questions and offering helpful suggestions. He always kept us informed of when workers would be coming and didn't get upset when we had to move the sunroom 4' over from our original location because Orange County changed a requirement from when we originally built the house. He also didn't get frazzled when this change resulted in modifying the rear wall opening into the new sunroom. Customer service could not have been better. The quality of the work done could not have been better. The workers who made it happen worked well together as a team and respected each others' expertise and skill. They worked hard while on the job, came when they were scheduled to come, seldom took breaks, cleaned up after themselves, and took pride in their work all of which is reflected in our beautifully remodeled home. Friends who saw the transformation of our home were impressed with the workmanship and blown away by the end result. I would definitely recommend CRO to anyone wanting to remodel their home, replace windows or have other home repair/renovations made at a fair price and done by an ethical and dependable company. We are thrilled with our remodel. It has transformed our home into a clean, fresh, inviting place to live, and the sunroom addition that flows as part of the house brings nature to our doorstep. It took them a couple of months. We had some city permitting issues to be approved. The screen enclosures needed approval from the city. Everything was permitted but you need special permission to do one of the porches. I have a lot line house and one of the patios is right on the lot line. I had to get my neighbor's approval. They did really good work. I'm very happy with them. They were competitive.

Good job. Brian, the salesman, explained our options and gave us an accurate quote upfront. Work progressed as promised and we are very pleased with the results. Like a facelift on our 46 year old house!

I highly recommend Creative Remodeling of Orlando (CRO). They were my second quote for window and sliding-glass-door replacements, from two Angie?s List companies. I liked my encounter and bid from the first company, however, decided to go with CRO due to a lower price (for like-quality materials) which allowed me to increase the number of windows replaced, and because CRO also installed siding and windows for two of my friends who highly recommended the company. From our first meeting to review my needs, Mark McGrath was very calming and continued to be easily contactable and made time to help me with my decisions (which morphed a few times). Once I?d nailed my decisions and the order was placed for the windows to be constructed, the wait time was short even though we were smack dab in the Thanksgiving holiday period. As soon as the windows were received at CRO, Mark scheduled the install. CRO?s staff was very competent, efficient, neat, paid attention to detail, friendly, and courteous. The window-sealing the framing look very nice. One of the workers even helped me by repairing one of my un-replaced screen doors. Mark took care of permits and inspections. After the work was completed, he made a special visit to provide filled-in paperwork to send to Duke Energy for energy credits and clarified what needed to be mailed off to register for the window warranty. What a delight to have the new energy-efficient south-facing windows so we can sit at our normal seats at the table without squinting or feeling like we?re being magnifying-glass-burned AND no more wrapping paper taped to the windows!

They were very professional and their cost was very reasonable. I would definitely use them again. I used them after I heard some feedback from other people word of mouth. They were definitely worth calling. They were a great company and they provided great service.

We are extremely pleased with the job done by Creative Remodeling of Orlando! We had a few estimates for vinyl siding done and really wanted to see how the pricing of the Hardie Board compared since it's a better quality product and looks SO much better. On the Hardie website we found the referral for CRO and called for an estimate. Mark came out and was very patient in spending all the time we needed to get our many questions answered. He came a second time to go over even more details and we did not feel rushed. We were pleased to learn that they also did windows and decided to do that at the same time. What a pleasure to have just ONE company do all the scheduling and planning. The windows are great and went in easier and quicker than I thought they would. They are a 100% improvement from the original single hung, builder grade we had. The guys who did the windows and siding were always prompt and professional. If we had a question, they quickly got an answer. (A great upside to working with a small company!) The owner, Mark, either came by the job or called daily to make sure all was going well. We found the small difference in price of the Hardieboard to be WELL worth the improvement in the look of the house!!! If you think you can only afford vinyl PLEASE call Creative Remodeling and check out the Hardie board first!!

So far, I'm happy with the salesman that came out. He explained everything that's going to get done. I have no complaints.

Mark was quick to follow up when we initially called. Came out to our house within a few days to go over what he offered. Took the time to listen to what we were looking for and offered helpful suggestions including how we could save money. He was quick to get a quote back. Was very responsive with scheduling. Checked in on a daily basis to make sure all work was being completed to our satisfaction. His Hardi crew did very high quality work, we had absolutely no complaints and looked forward to going home every day to see the changes. During the process we changed a few things and he did not even charge us for additional work. He did little extras throughout at no additional charge. Once the Hardi was done I wanted to make one change to the porch and he even had his crew return on Saturday to make the changes. When the Hardi was done we knew we should use his painter because of the quality we saw in the Hardi. Again no complaints very high quaility work from the painter. I would highly recommend Creative Remodeling of Orlando. If you want the work done right and have no worries this is the way to go. Our house looks amazing! Thank you Mark, James & Adam!!

Everyone at the company was personable, the company always kept me informed of the job's progress, and my questions were always answered in a timely manner. Furthermore, the addition turned out wonderfully.

As I normally don't write reviews, I owe this long-over-due review to Creative Remodeling and Mark/Brian, specifically. We planned to build a sunroom with screen/sliding glass windows all around but kept having issues with several other companies. Finally, we called CR through Angie's List and man! everything moved forward without a hitch. Mark was professional and Brian was everything you would ask for from a contractor. The crew was excellent as well from start to finish even it was stretched over few months due to inspection schedules. Even before the project was done, I hired Brian, right on the spot, to work on my pool screen enclosure for another house. And then, through Brian again, I had my new drive way extension added. Their prices were fair and their work ethic and quality were top notch. I strongly recommend this company. Thank you, CR!!

We got bids from two companies listed on Angie's List. This company, led by Mark McGrath, certainly exceeded our expectations. After our initial contact, Mark emailed us a copy of his state license along with a photo identification. Replacing the windows seemed like an overwhelming project but Mark put everything in perspective. During our first meeting, he spent a great deal of time discussing his products and what to expect during the actual work. He provided us with more answers than the questions on our list. The crew was very professional and I would welcome them back anytime. They were pleasant and respectful of both our home and pets. You could say the day was an education because they kept us informed as they worked from window to window. End result? Our home is tighter and dryer. Not only that but we feel much more secure. Well done Creative Remodeling of Orlando and Crew! Under promised but over delivered.

Very professional and responsive. Both Mark and especially Brian, who supervises construction, are first class. The work was completed on time, within budget and was top quality. I highly recommend this company!!!!!!!

I was very satisfied with Mark and his installers. Mark (the owner) is a man of integrity and a true professional. He is very congenial and easy to work with. Most importantly, he says what he is going to do and then does just as promised. His aim is to please his customers. Mark's installers, led by Darrel, completed the job within two days and began on the date scheduled. The workers were careful in getting their work done in an efficient and tidy manner. There was one slight snag--Mark and I had a miscommunication about the size of screens I preferred. The windows first came with full-sized top to bottom screens, but I preferred half-sized. When I mentioned this to Mark, he offered replacements which he had to special order. There was no hesitation on his part. Within two weeks, Darrel stopped by and installed all but one which did not fit. Mark then ordered a second replacement and within two or three weeks, I had the final half-sized screen installed--making the job complete. I would highly recommend Creative Remodeling of Orlando.

The project took about 3 weeks to complete and the crew was excellent. They started early every day and left the yard clean and all materials neatly stacked each day before they left. The house looks brand new! It is much quieter inside and the insulation factor is so much better than before.

This is the second time we've hired Creative Remodeling of Orlando to do some remodeling projects at our home. Both times they excelled in every way. The built a screen porch for us a year ago and we couldn't have been more pleased. We enjoy it every day. This year they did several remodeling projects for us. From start to finish it couldn't have gone any smoother. Brian came out and was very helpful both times with great suggestions and was very attentive to what we wanted done. He and all the crews were very professional and friendly at all times. I can't say enough good things about them. Brian gave us a great estimate which was in line with other estimates we received. He took care of getting county permits both times and the work began immediately after permits were received. The crews were exceptional, very skilled in their crafts, punctual, hard working and cleaned up all mess daily before leaving. The projects were completed in a very timely manner and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I know we would rehire them for any additional remodeling projects we might have in the future.

Brian came out for the estimate and was very professional. He answered all my questions and gave me a detailed estimate. He was the only contractor to mention permits for the job and made sure the work was done to code. I needed two different contractors, one for carpentry and the other for stucco, both excellent at what they do. They matched the existing house perfectly. The work was done promptly and as described as well as on budget. The prices were excellent for the work being done. I have dealt with contractors in the past that were flaky, either you couldn't reach them or they don't show up, this is not the case with CRO. I plan on doing more work on my house in the future and they will be the first company I call. I hope they can maintain their practices because Orlando needs more companies like them. I

Very well. Company representative Brian Hoover was very professional. I spec'd upgrade window and glazing units, and happy with sound isolation as well. I would have given higher rating on quality but the vent locks are kind of cheap - two have broken already. Otherwise excellent experience.

Creative Remodeling removed existing outside patio, 2 huge tree stumps, and built a beautiful 2 door a-lined concrete screened patio with ceiling fan and electrical outlets. Was fully impressed with the level of professionalism from Creative Remodeling and lead contractor Brian. He was courteous, knowledgable, punctual, and returned my phone calls in a timely manner. 2 concerns; first the destruction of my beautiful backyard St Augustine grass by huge tractor wheels was not fully repaired. Spreading soil and planting sod in an effort to fill wheel trench was unsatisfactory and not to my liking. Spent my own money to ensure sod fully took root by purchasing extra soil and grass, slowly my yard is recovering. Second, gutters installed remains unleveled resulting in water pooling in one corner creating a constant drip long after rain ceases. Commitment was made to correct the problem, yet drip continues. Despite concerns, will gladly use them again.. Mr. Strick

I called to inquire about getting repairs done, but they were unable to meet my needs. Instead of saying sorry and hanging up, the lady was able to direct me to a company who is helping me! My search ended quicker than I was anticipating. Thank you!

They were a little early that morning - about 9 am, actually, got right to work, I left to get some lunch a little later and came back and they were finished, area all cleaned up and they had left already! Amazing, obviously do this often together - very impressed all the way around.

Everything went really well. I had multiple bids from independent contractors and other businesses. Brian led us through the project. He was willing to communicate via text or phone or in person. The project turned out EXACTLY as I wished. They could have cleaned up the metal shards a little better, but I am nit picking. The price was right. The service was good. The finished project was spot-on. The only issue was each contractor/vendor (including Brian) misquoted the county code. None of them knew it right. We called and verified ourselves. Brian would have lost the job had we not taken that step. He said he thought we were in the city not the county hence the misinformation. I would use them again, but I would call the county myself to verify what I am told. Oh, and the price didn't change during the project. What I was quoted is what I paid. A+
