They did an excellent job, the work was done in a timely manor, they were very pleasant and cleaned up the yard after they were finished. Everything was explained in detail regarding the phasing of the roofing job. The procedure for filing the wind mitigation documents was also reviewed. Guards were installed over the plumbing pipes to keep the squirrels away. Out of the three roofing estimates I received this bid was by far the best value. The roof past inspection the very first time.

Their price stood out for me. They were really good; I don't see anything they could have done to improve the service.

He left afterwards and said I can expect a quote the same night or on Friday, but absolute latest on Monday. I never heard back from him. He seemed like a standup person and honest so it is odd that he never contacted me back again. I sent him a follow up email requesting a quote, but there was no acknowledgment of that either. I cant comment on his service as we never got that far. So I have pondered as to whether or not I should write a review. In the end, the whole idea here is to give feedback. I hope he is ok and that I was just one who fell off his radar. I have since found another company who has done the repairs.

I called last week and made an appointment, James and Greg came out promptly. They gave me a courtesy call when they were on the way and showed up when they said they were going to. I had leaking on one side of my mobile home. They told me that some bolts had rusted. He put sealant around the bolts. He told me that it should take care of the problem. There have been some heavy rains and so far have had no leaks. He didn't charge me anything even though he inspected the roof and used a whole gun of sealant. He was very professional and provided me a lot of information. I was very impressed by him.

Winter park roofing is an exceptional company. We did extensive research on looking for a roofing company , and we were not disappointed. The initial call was placed on a Monday morning preceding the weekend storms, and even with a full workload, Greg and James added us to there schedule to look at the problem we were having. The communication was great, and they arrived at the agreed time. There knowledge and expertise of diagnosing the problem, was spot on. They identified where the leak on the roof was, and detailed the repairs that would be needed. They also suggested some preventative measures we could take to get extended life of our roof, together with a complete inspection. As detailed our quotation was in the inbox the next morning, the price was extremely reasonable for the repair. The communication with winter park roofing is just the best. I was blown away with the office staff, who replied to emails within minutes, scheduled the work subject to weather, makes sense, and answered all my questions fast. The day of the repair arrived, the workmen arrived on time, and were very aware of the aspects of the repair and location. They worked hard and made sure that all debris and materials were placed on tarps, which was great. The team also repaired siding at no extra charge which was fantastic. The roofing material used matched our existing roof and the repairs were done to a very high standard. As I write this review, the leak has not returned, but as with any roof leak repair we have a three year warranty which is plus. Overall this company was professional and delivered on time with quality workmanship and materials. We will definitely be using there services in the future. Great job .

We invited four roofing companies out to provide estimates, which came in ranging 7,700 to over 12,000. The fourth estimate was done by Winter Park Roofing (WPR), who came recommended by neighbors of family members. Mr. James Bell came out on a very rainy day to do the estimate, and climbed on the roof as part of the inspection. Of the four companies who came out, he was the only one to go up and brave the steep roof pitch to look at the roof. WPR was mid-pack as far as cost, but we were impressed by the presentation, that they were a family-run business, and that they don't use subs. WPR arrived at on time each workday, were thorough with their work, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Every step of the process was spelled-out ahead of time, and there were no surprise "gotcha's" at the end. Andrea was so patient with my repeated emails with questions. It's been two weeks since the job completion and everything appears to have been done perfectly. We chose WPR based on recommendations, their reviews here, and from positive remarks with the BBB. Their reputation is well-deserved. My thanks go to James, Byron, Andrea, and crew for a job well done. I highly recommend them!

Winter Park Roofing has an "A+" rating with BBB and "A" rating on Angie?s list, that's why I called the company for a reroofing estimate. Their technician came to my house the next day and their estimate was the most comprehensive, detailed and competitive one among a few others I got. I was able to communicate with Andrea and James (the owner) by email and by phone to better understand the nitty-gritty of their estimate. I was very satisfied by their patient explanations of all the technical details of their work process and quality control. I could also sense an inherent honesty and professionalism of the company through our conversations and a true desire in completing a quality job for all their customers. Better still, there is no any hidden fee on their estimate and they?ll do a wind mitigation report for free. It?s an easy decision for me to go ahead with them. They obtained a permit quickly from the city and the date of work was set after that. However I was unable to be on site at the day of roofing and James was there to monitor the job. They sent me some detailed pictures from different stages of the job and I got the final inspection report from the city and their warranty documents on the second day. I am very happy that their job was completed professionally and quickly with all the details being taken care of in accordance with the contract. I also appreciate that James went back and did the wind mitigation on the second day. I feel happy and fortunate that I made a right decision to hire Winter Park Roofing for my roof project. l certainly will use them again whenever a need arises down the road.

James came out and did a fix in 15 minutes. Very reliable contractor and honest guy!

It was just fine. Had to come back inspect for nails on the ground. They were not persistent enough on calling me back because they thought I used a cell phone to record incoming calls. I had a landline and they never left any messages. A little communication problem.

They were very responsive, very informative and attentive to the work that they finished.

We were very pleased with their work. I would use them again if I needed a new roof. Although I got to them because of an Angies List deal, I would go directly to them from now on and trust they would give me the best price for the quality of product they offer. Also, they kept their price exactly to the initial agreement. there were no hidden fees and they did not charge for wind mitigation.

Not only are they very experienced, hard-working and competent, but they are a family run business with no subs and a pleasure to work with! Starting with James Bell the owner who patiently spent a lot of time with us at the beginning explaining our options, to working with his wife Andrea in the office on a variety of details and then their hard working son Daniel who was the team leader of the crew on the roof who worked from 7:30am to sundown each day and Byron, their son-in-law who was the overall project manager who made sure all our concerns where addressed and then finally to another son who helped with the wind mitigation form afterwards - all are authentic people who are trying their very best to please the customer and do a quality job! Specifically, here are the things I really liked: * Their bid was not the lowest but it included some value added features - such as free wind mitigation form completion, no additional charge for routine wood rot replacement, gutter cleaning and sweeping twice with a magnet through the property to pick up nails. * Our 4 skylights are large and required to be custom made and they coordinated everything with the skylight company, even when the manufacturer broke one before it was delivered they worked quickly for a replacement and an area manager came to our home to apologize * We have a long driveway with trees and we didn't want them damaged with the delivery of the roofing supplies. They had the supplier come out in advance to review and then delivered everything in a smaller truck with a boom that could get under our trees without damage. *They even replaced the 2 attic fans on the roof with solar powered attic fans. * We had some significant wood rot that was really out of scope of the roofing project but it required to be addressed as it impacted the roof. They replaced the wood as professional as any carpenter and only charged me for the material. Sure, there were a couple of bumps in the road, but a company really shows their character in terms of how they deal with problems. A re-roof is one of the top expenses for a family and like most construction projects there are numerous things that can go wrong, so you want to make sure you choose a company that has integrity combined with the resources and experience to get your job done properly.

The service went very well. The inspection didn't go well. I am having a difficult time. So far, I haven't got any discounts on my roof on my insurance whatsoever. It was something to do with the inspection. Everything is checked out and all the pictures have been taken. I have gone over and over. Winter Park Roofing responded very well. They were very polite. I appreciated their businesslike manner. The price was fine. There were things that needed to be added here and there. They were right on with their price. It was a good price. The previous roof was just 13 years old and everyone told me that it was a big rip off. The punctuality was right on target. I feel they were professional in all the way.

They got it done. They said they would do it and they did it. I came home one day and there they were, it was finished. They left no mess. I did compare prices and they were very competitive. I have no problems so far. It's good quality. They were responsive. They came out when they said they would and gave me an estimate. I wasn't there, but they left the estimate and they did what they were supposed to do. They showed up when they said they were going to do, which is a big thing with people. They got the job done really quickly and they did it when they said they were going to.

The experience was phenomenal from quote to completion. The quoting process was a no pressure sale and their quote was more than competitive compared to all the quotes we received. They pulled all the appropriate permits and provided a good variety of samples. The roofing team was prompt and professional. The craftsmanship looked to be great and they did a good job on clean up. I would use them again and recommend to anyone needed roof repairs or replacement.

I first had them work for me in 2012 and they recently came back to discover that my problem was not with their repair but due to a buildup of leaves. They fixed it for nothing. Great company.

We had estimates done by four companies and chose Winter Park Roofing because the owner was a residential contractor as well as a roofing contractor and two skylights needed to be replaced as well as the roof. He came out himself to do the estimate. The roof was over 25 years old and had been patched a few times after the hurricanes in past years. They removed the old shingles, replaced plywood in several areas that needed it, removed and then installed the new skylights, and shingled the roof. The crew was careful to pick up debris, nails and trash each day. There were some delays beyond their control including several rainy days but we were kept apprised by Andrea at the office and Greg, the project manager. We are very pleased with the job they did.

We chose Winter Park Roofing because of the reviews I saw on Angie's List. They weren't the cheapest. They took forever to get here. They messed up on the paperwork, so it took longer for them to actually start the job. Roofing job was good and of good quality. Two of our gutters were damaged and one place where one roofline meets another is falling apart. It won't be leaking as there is roofing material behind it, but the way they finished it off was odd using plywood over the roofing material.

I was extremely impressed with Winter Park Roofing. I am a commercial General Contractor, but don't typically deal with residential roofs, so I used Angie's List to solicit/review residential roofers. I called and within a day, James, the owner, was out to look at my house and provide me with an estimate. He was very thorough, and his bid was comprehensive. I needed him to start right away and be complete before we left town for vacation. To his word, they showed up, did their work, and were done. No fuss whatsoever. They also did a good job cleaning up. I would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone looking to re-roof or install a new roof.

They had fixed a leak last year and were very prompt, thorough, and we were very pleased with them. We planned on using them for a new roof; but did get a few other quotes. We are happy we chose them.

They did a reroof for us in March of 2013 and I was very happy with the work. I ask a lot of questions and they were always happy to answer. You can't beat the price and warranty (not paying for any wood needing to be replaced saved potential thousands). They were quick and relatively quiet (I have 2 small children that take naps and I know how loud it is when the neighbors all had their houses done with other companies). They even did an extra sweep for nails bc they knew I was concerned about my kids playing the the grass. I had to call 1 time over the summer bc our AC upstairs was leaking and I THOUGHT it was the roof, it wasn't the roof but the Bell's returned my call right away and sent someone out the next morning. It's nice to know that if I had a problem, they actually follow through on their warranty. It's been almost a year and it still looks great. I will happily recommend them to anyone. A+

It went perfect! He was the best I've ever delt with. He was on time, answered his phone, returned all phone calls, came back and double checked that everything turned out well. He was totally professional.

Winter Park roofing did a fantastic job. They patiently answered all of my questions regarding the application of torch applied roll roofing. They honored their contact regarding replacing all rotted decking at no additional charge. They showed up on time and did a nice job of removing all old roof materials and cleaning up when the job was finished. When the amount of decking to be replaced exceeded the original estimate, they supplemented their original crew with another crew to help finish the job. During the installation, they discovered that the flat roof sloped toward a wall of the house (an issue not addressed by a previous contractor) that was contributing to a continually leaking problem with the roof. They fixed the slope, implemented a better method of tying the flat roof into the wall and we have not a had leak with this roof since they replaced it (7 months now). They covered the roof when a brief rain shower occurred while the roof was being replaced - preventing any water leaking into the house. All in all they did a super job and when we need a roofing contractor in the future, they will be our first choice.
