+ -1 moreI was looking to change the tile inserts in my dinette table because they no longer matched my kitchen after we updated it. I called many providers who said they could not do it. When I called United Stone Associates and talked to Yura and explained what I wanted to do he said he could do it. I sent him a picture of my table and he told me where to go to find a big selection of tile. He sent his workers to my house and they took my table back to their workshop where they had more tools to cut and install the tile. Yura did everything he said he would do, kept me posted of the progress, sent me some pictures of his techs working on my table. He got the table back to me the next day and it was more beautiful than it was originally. His workers were so professional and went out of their way to please. These guys know their tile and have such skill and pride in their work. I would without a doubt use them for my next tile project. It was a fantastic experience working with them from start to finish. Yura was so responsive and timely in all our communications. Great Job!! Can't get over how fantastic my table looks.

+ 0 moreWe were about to sell our previous home and wanted to needed to install granite quickly, before placing the house on the market. Yuri came to the home on Monday, made all the necessary measurements, provided the cost/estimate (which never changed), I went and picked out the granite and sink at his facility, and they installed on Thursday. Start to finish, the job was completed in four days. They did an amazingly job with a very short turn around. I would use Yuri and his team again in a heart beat, and plan to when we renovate the kitchen in the home we live in now.
Description of Work: We purchased a beautiful granite and sink from United Stone Associates. The cost included removal of the previous counter top and sink as well as the installation of the new granite and sink.

I selected granite from this company and very stratified with all aspects of this job. Everything was completed beyond expectations and when they promised to be there they were there on time. The installation guys did a very good job. There was only one seam in the entire counter top and you really have to look to find it. I would recommend this company for any type of granite work.

+ -1 moreNever received the estimate despite repeated telephone calls. On February 19th decided to use another vendor who provided us with a quote on the spot and also saved us some monies on the stone.
Description of Work: on February 7th, came over measured and was to provide an estimate for replacing all of our kitchen countertops. He stated we would have the estimate by Monday, February 10th and the work can commence that week.. We had already picked out the stone and provided him with this information so that he would be able to provide a more accurate estimate.

+ -1 moreWe had Yura and his team install new granite countertops in our kitchen and we are thrilled with the results! After seeing them in our neighborhood and the reviews on Angie's list we decided to drive by one weekend. We met Yura and he was very professional and provided great information about the fabrication and install process. We setup a time for him to come out to give us a quote and review our project. As part of our install we requested that a bar top wall be lowered and this was no problem for Yura. Within a few days we had a complete, itemized quote at a fair price and decided to move forward with our project. We selected our sink (through Pelican sinks) and Yura took care of placing the order for us. We also selected our slab from Yura's yard. Soon after, Igor and Alex came out and did an excellent job of lowering the wall and creating the template. Yura contacted us as soon as the fabrication of the slab had completed and the team returned as scheduled on installation day and did an incredible job! The install completed in one day and we couldn't be happier with the results and the overall experience. Highly recommend Yura and his team at United Stone Associates!

+ -1 moreWe found the business on Angies list. My wife and I stoped there on Jan.17th and returned on Jan. 20th made our granite selection and it was installed on Jan. 24th. Very nice people. Very helpful did what we wanted at an excellent price. We shopped around and had other estimates but USA was ranked very high on Angies List and was the least expensive. The installation went as planned. They arrived on time and finished in one day. Awesome!!

+ -1 moreI just moved into a home that had been empty for quite some time and the stainless sink was damaged. I called the company to have the existing sink removed from my granite counter and replace it with one that we had purchased. The owner answered immediately and asked me to pull the template and make sure that we had purchased the correct sink and then call him back. I did that, however, he did not call me back. After 4 days, my husband called and they took care of the sink the same day. They did a beautiful job and were very professional. My only complaint would be that they did not seem to want to respond initially but in the end, the work was done very quickly and nicely.

+ 0 moreBusiness owner, Yura Tarassov, personally and expeditiously responded to my request for a quote to do the work. Price, based on local/national comparisons, was excellent. Thereafter, my wife and I visited the company shop/yard picked our granite and Yura held it for us for 2 1/2 months until we were ready for cutting and install. When we were ready for install I simply called Yura, he immediately sent one of his men to the house to verify measurements and construct a final template. Three days later, at the time promised, two of Yura's men showed up with the product and installed it. They took out and carted off the old sink as well as the old countertops. The entire removal and reinstall process, to include hanging the new undercounter sink(which I also purchased from Yura at an excellent price) and sealing the granite took approximately 4 hours, start to finish. Process was neat, clean, professional and worth every penny.

+ -1 moreVisited the service providers shop. Was able to select any slab in the yard and they would be cut to specifications. I picked out two slabs and they were ready for installation within 3 work days. Received excellent price as there were slabs which were remnants from larger jobs. A company representative came on the same day to measure which was a Wednesday and the countertops were ready for delivery on the following Monday as I requested. The installers arrived on time and did an excellent job and were very professional. I saved a considerable amount of money compared to the local big box home improvement stores.
Description of Work: Two Granite Countertops were installed one with one sink and one with two.

+ 0 moreWhole process worked great. The job was done as planned. The owner, Yuri, did what he said would be done and the installer (Igor) did a great job. Yuri gave us several granite places to look for granite slabs and was very patient while we labored over which one to get. Once we selected and bought our slabs, we had them delivered to him. He had quoted us a price for fabrication and installing the granite after measuring our kitchen. The job was done in a day with virtually no mess (a great concern of my wife's). The only mess was the removal of our previous backsplash done the day before installation. We recommend Yuri and his crew if you need a good quality granite job. Get Igor as your installer if you can.

+ 0 moreWe were getting ready to order the granite tops for our remodeled bathroom when we passed this company's place of business. My wife and I decided to stop and see what they had to offer, even though we wouldn't be ready for the counter tops for about a month. Ivan walked us back to his granite storage area and my wife found exactly the color she was looking for. He gave us a price and said that the price would be good until we were ready. On the day scheduled for installation, the two man crew arrived on time, installed the sinks and counter tops, were very professional even though we requested a slight on site modification. Their clean-up was well done and we were very pleased with the entire process.
Description of Work: Provided two granite counter tops with under mount sinks and back splash, plus two custom shelves that were to be used in the shower walls (when we finished building them)

Installation went well enough but was a little rushed as the guys sealed the stone to the island before I noticed it would have been better to rotate it 180 degrees due to a natural weakness (crack) in the stone. The crack would have been supported on the side that is not the overhang part of the island. They really should have considered that the stone could have been placed two different ways and there was a clear advantage to the alternative.
Description of Work: United Stone took the stone we bought at Mystic Marble, cut it in half lengthwise then finished the half we kept into a two pieces.

+ 1 moreThe great thing about this company was that they had very transparent pricing. Yura came out and provided a quote for the labor for fabrication and installation for the job. He provided us with 5 or so granite yards to visit and told us to ask for the pricing on the granite slabs and if we had any problem getting the pricing on the slabs to have them call him. Most of the time the granite yards will not provide the customer with the pricing on the granite because the fabricator will take that price and mark it up. The way this was handled through Yura we knew exactly what we were paying for and could make an informed decision about our purchase. His team also did an excellent job of laying out the granite and cutting it to minimize the seams. The installation went smoothly and the kitchen looks beautiful! There was also enough granite so that I could do the countertop in the pool bath that was adjacent to the kitchen. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend them and use them again.

+ 1 moreWonderfully. Yura and his men are great, they are very friendly and always willing to work with their customers. He came out the same day I called to look at the kitchen and speak about my options with me and was great about answering all of my questions. When I made a trip out to his new building he showed me all of my options for materials and costs of each. Once I chose the material, a beautiful granite that is on the more inexpensive end, he told me that he and his team needed only a week to get the material, cut it and have it ready for the install. Install went smoothly and I would highly recommend him and his team to anyone I know.

+ -1 moreWe picked out the Silestone that we wanted. Unlike granite, Silestone is a man made quartz surface and there is no need to see the pattern once you have decided on it. It will be exactly as you have seen it. A little more $ than granite but better product. Next step measuring.USA inc. was wonderful and very precise. The demo (tear down and loosening of backsplash and counters) took one day. Next day was the installation of the Silestone countertops and 60/40 sink. Great workers! Third day was the installation of the terrastone backsplash. And it is complete! A very non stressful process. If I ever need anything else in the line of tile work...will definitely be calling Yura at United Stone inc.
Description of Work: On the first day demo of Formica countertops and backsplash. Cleaning after each step. No dirt left behind. Day two was the installation of the Silestone countertops and sink. Beautifully installed. Very neat and precise. Exactly what we wanted. Again cleaning after each step.

+ 0 moreMay 2013: I wanted custom quarter round granite shelves cut for the tub surround. I took a piece of cardboard with the dimensions to Yura and showed him exactly what I wanted. I orderd 5 shelves 7 1/4' deep sealed and edges rounded off. We picked out the slab of granite, and built exactly what I wanted. June 2013: I finally got the bathroom mostly remodeled and the vanity box installed. I took rough sketches to Yura along with measurements. I needed a 25 1/2" x 40" countertop with an undermount sink basin and holes drilled for a centerset faucet. I also needed a sidesplash and backsplash. He cut the slab of quartz, polished the edges, it and the fitment was perfect!! It looks truly amazing.
Description of Work: I'm in the process of planning my guest bathroom remodel. I began my hunt for a reasonably priced 37" quartz counter top with under mount bowl and 4" center set holes, a side splash and a back splash. I gave the big box home supply stores way too many chances to get me what I wanted. I got VERY frustrated with their selections, prices, policies, and lack of knowledge about what products they have on their web site vs what they carry in the store. The big box stores want over $600 and don’t have samples for all the tops they sell in the stores. They have to order the samples from the manufacturer, or you have to select the counter top from a picture on a web site. Also, they have a 3-4 week lead time from date of order. This frustration led me to join Angie's List and search for a company that deals exclusively in kitchen and bathroom counter tops. I read all the reviews on USA, Inc and was VERY impressed. Yura is very personable and accommodating. I called him on a Sunday afternoon just to see if he was in the office. He was, and invited me over to pick out our counter top. I'm thankful he keeps all his material outside so you can see what they look like in the sunlight, as opposed to determining the color under obnoxious fluorescent warehouse lights. After explaining to him what we want and showing him the sample tile and accent pieces, he directed us to granite and quartz slabs that would match. His selection is fantastic, and his honesty is refreshing. His prices are amazing compared to the big box stores. He said he’d need 48 hours to build the counter top for us, and he will drill the holes to match the faucet we bought. Before he cuts anything, he gave us the option to look around his yard to make sure that our original selection is exactly what we want. He told me to install the new vanity cabinet before we go over to pick up the new counter top. He wants to cut it to fit exactly, taking into account any variations in the wall dimensions. I plan on remodeling my kitchen sometime in the next few years. I will call Yura first and have him come over to evaluate the layout of my kitchen and suggest the best counter top for my needs. I cook large meals nearly every day and need a durable, antibacterial, easy to clean surface. I trust Yura completely. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to ANYONE. He gets an A+ in my book. Thank you Angie’s List for leading me to this VERY reputable company!!! J

+ 0 moreI went to United Stone to get an estimate and look at their selection of granite. I was helped by Yura, the owner, and he was very professional. He looked at my sketches of the countertops I wanted replaced and calculated the sq. ft. He gave me an estimate right away and allowed me to look at their selection of remnants. Once a decision was made about which pieces I wanted, Yura came to measure precisely. Within 3 days our granite was installed. The installers were polite, clean and friendly. They were very careful not to damage our cabinets or any other things in our bathrooms. I would definitely use them again to do our last bathroom and I would recommend them to anyone who was wanting granite. By the way, their price was the best I found after getting 5 other estimates.
