It couldn't have gone better. Bill arrived on time for the initial consultation and the installation, and after the installation was finished he explained how everything worked. He is an authorized dealer for all of the products he installs so if there are any equipment problems we call him.
Description of Work: Bill installed a heat pump for our pool and also converted the pool to salt water.

Description of Work: On the propane gas pool heater, replaced the gas regulator, removed and refurbished all burner tubes, electrical repairs. Heater was not functioning properly and the Spa Man restored it to usefulness. Very professional and responsive. Recommended with enthusiasm.

I never owned a pool or spa so I stopped by a local Pool Supply company and they recommend The Spa Man. He arrived when scheduled, was friendly and professional. He checked. cleaned and filled the spa. He was patient and explained what was needed for maintenance. He helped me select and order a new cover and delivered it about a week later. I would have been happy to purchase chemicals and filters through him but he has not stayed in contact so I have been getting these items at the supply store, but would definitely reach out to him if I had a problem with the spa.
Description of Work: Checked and cleaned the spa at a home I purchased as a short-sale.

I left a voice mail. After 2 days, I haven't heard back from him.
Description of Work: Too bad... I used this company 10 years ago with another home with a spa. I don't remember anything spectacular - but didn't have an issue with the service before. So despite having minimal current reviews, I decided to call them again to fix a spa on a different home. I left a voice mail - which indicated I have to clearly and slowly leave my message as it will be converted to textual message. After 2 days, I haven't heard back from him. Could it be the technology or could it be another contractor who doesn't return calls? Doesn't matter to me either way... an unreturned call means an unsatisfied customer who will not return with new business.

We have been using a new technology this year and in general it works well with a few minor glitches, however usually if the contact information is incomplete or indiscernable, the customer calls again and we are able to make contact even with the glitch. Unfortunately in your case you never contacted us again and the intial contact information was incorrect, which left us unable to make contact at all. He found the problem (rats had eaten wiring, heater leaking, pump not working) ordered the parts, returned, installed the parts in a difficult location (spa is surrounded by a deck and he had to crawl under framing to get to the guts of the spa. He cleaned up everything, programed the controls and it works great. This is an expensive spa and well worth the time and effort to bring it back up to like new operating condition.
Description of Work: Rebuilt Spa, installed heater, pump and control unit. Very good service. He did a great job, on time, made three trips to the house, and only charged me for the actual work once the parts came in.

Paid $85 for the estimate which was deducted from the final bill. Bill and Greg showed up early and did a professional job. The truck was well equipped. There was a need for some small parts that couldn't have been known when the estimate was given (the pump motor was burned out so there was no way to see the worn parts).
Description of Work: Job was estimated one week and the work done later. Replaced the spa's circulation pump motor, some seals and lubricated where needed.

THEY WERE GOOD. THEY FIXED WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO FIX THE FIRST TIME. THE WORKERS SEEMED TO KNOW THEIR BUSINESS. THE PRICE WAS FAIR. THE OVERALL QUALITY WAS GOOD.
