I have a 30 ft travel trailer. The bumper cracked, bent, and started to pull away from the frame because I had too much weight (bikes , spare tire, etc.) mounted to the bumper. I have gotten several estimates upwards of $600. I called Rusty (in part because the only negative review posted for him sounded ridiculous ) and he immediately returned my call. I delivered the camper to his beautiful shop on the same day. Rusty took one look at the job, asked me how much time I had and offered to fix the bumper while I waited! 45 minutes later I was out the door for $117. The work was perfect. I can't say enough good things about my experience. Oh... Rusty did offer to do the work at my location but he gave me the option to bring the trailer to him to save $150.

First, let me tell you I have written a review for this company in the past and when I went in there just now and saw the last review I was infuriated. This man and his company are professional to the fullest. He has done work for several friends of mine and they too couldn't have been more pleased. I can tell you all there are 2 sides to every story and after reading the D rated review I called Rusty and personally spoke to him and he said most of what she wrote was inaccurate. He did give her a quote based on removing the gates and taking them to be sand blasted but as she stated this person's machine was broken and it was out being repaired so he called her and told her of the situation and she opted to have him bring the gates back without being sand blasted. If she wanted them to be hand sanded the price would go up due to the added labor and she did not want to pay the extra money. It's not that he did not complete the job or left the job undone it's just she did not want to pay the extra money. Sorry, had to get that out of the way before I speak about this current job he recently finished for me. My boat trailer had been in need of repair for many, many months but I kept putting it off thinking it would last a little longer and guess what it finally broke and I was in despair but only for a short amount of time until I remembered Rusty's Mobile Welding. I called him and he was nearby finishing up a job so he came over as soon as he could. What made this scenario even more aggravating was my boat trailer was at my storage unit and without the ability to move it I was hampering the other renters. Again his perfection and professionalism came to light once again. His amazing work can't really be explained on a piece of paper it is something you would have to experience for yourselves. Don't take one poor review and believe it doesn't have another side. In my book this man and his business are second to none and I will continue to pass his name to anyone who needs a professional to do any welding because that's what Rusty's Mobile Welding is all about !!!!!

Didn't finish the job. Dishonest about the outcome!
Description of Work: First Rusty came out and gave me 2 quotes one for welding/repairing my 5 yr old iron gates and another if i wanted them sanded and painted as well. He said he could hand sand or remove them and have them sand blasted. I opted to have everything done and he recommended sandblasting. A few hours after removing the gates he calls to tell me he can't sand the gates, the person that was going to sand blast the gates machine broke. I told him he can hand sand them then, but he said he can't do that. I think he under estimated how long it would take him, therefore he backed out of the job. Then he charges me more than originally quoted for welding the gates. Rusty seems like a very nice guy, but I feel he should have finished the job he started. The most recent reviewer is absolutely wrong. Evidently, Rusty is not being honest with him. I repeatedly asked if Rusty to reconsider doing my gates by hand and he down right refused to. I presume it was too much work in his eyes. I most certainly would have paid more at that point, because I needed them done. So now his integrity is an issue, avoid!

First off let me tell you I have used this company in the past and was so pleased at what he did I knew who to call when someone had given me a patio set that was in poor shape. I talked it over with the owner and we came to the conclusion that he would weld an extension piece onto my chairs so that when you sit in them you are actually sitting in a semi reclined position. I was a little bit apprehensive at first because I had never seen something like this done before but I trusted what he had to say since he had worked wonders on several other things that needed repair/fixed in the past. So off to work he went......he reinforced the table along with 6 chairs. 4 out of the 6 chairs just needed reinforcement on 2 out of the 4 legs but the other 2 chairs were the taller style and those are the ones he added the extension piece on 2 out of the 4 legs. I can not begin to tell you how comfortable these chairs are now just because of what he did. I would trust this man with anything I owned whether it was worth $100 or $1000. He's that GOOD !!!!!!! I was given this furniture and really did not need another set but this turned out so nice I will probably put it on my patio and put the other set out back. Should anyone be looking for a welder, fabricator or a fix up person to weld anything you own please give this guy a call...this is at least the 3rd time I have used him and he never ceases to amaze me. HE IS THE BEST AT WHAT HE DOES AND I CAN'T WAIT TO SHOW OFF MY FURNITURE because once you sit in one of these chairs you will want yours done like this. More comfortable than the lounge style chairs I currently have.....they work perfectly especially since we sit outside and watch TV, these chairs are tilted just perfectly to watch TV. Thank you so much to Rusty's Mobile Welding for beating my expectations and showing me how to turn this old set of furniture into something I can't wait to show off to all my friends.
Description of Work: He welded and repaired some patio furniture that was given to me. I have used this company in the past and was so THRILLED at the professionalism along with the knowledge he has for his tools that I knew just who to call when I needed help.

First bonus when I called the owner of Rusty's Mobile Welding was he spoke English, I could understand him and he showed up on time when he came over to do some work for me. As I stated above he came out to fix one thing but ended up fixing a few things. I have had people come to my house to do odd jobs for years and years but no one compares to what this man did for me. He is professional, personable, knowledgeable but most of all his prices are fair. I don't mind paying a little more for work to be done especially when it's done as professional as all his work has been. I can promise you one thing if you call this man he will be on time and fair with his prices. There is so much he can do besides what I had done. He can make gates, fences and he even said if there was something I wanted him to fabricate he would do his best to meet my expectations. This superior workmanship is something I have never seen and he is kind, courteous and returns his calls just as promised. Give him a try and you will be happy you did !!!!!
Description of Work: What doesn't he do? I had him come over to see if he could salvage some chairs I have had for years on my patio. Not only did he salvage them but he brought them back to life. They are now sturdy and I'm not afraid someone will fall out of them but they are better now then they were when I first got them. After he finished that I had him look at a table I have in my workshop and it's been abused for years and I was going to throw it out but Rusty said, "Let me see if I can fix it and if I can't then there's no harm." Let me tell you this man knows his business and he is very, very good at what he does. He fixed my table and only charged me $50. There was no trip charge because he was already out here fixing my patio furniture. What a professional !!!!!

, "gewas punctual, professional, courteous, honest and hard working. All of his equipment was top notch and in great working condition. When someone pulls up and you can visually see the pride they take in their own equipment because its clean and runs well....that is the type of person I want working on my personal things.
Description of Work: I've actually contacted and had this business do several things for me. I've had gate work done and repair done to my boat trailer. I had some issues with a gate that needed welded and I didn't know who to call. I had a dilemma that required immediate response. I used "Google" internet search to find this business. It's called, "Rusty's mobile welding". I called, left a message and I received a call back right away. The business owner was professional and courteous and said he'd stop what he was doing to come to my house right away. He said it would take him about an hour to gather the needed materials, hook up his business trailer and arrive at my property which was about 20 min from his house. What business does this these days? When he arrived he was extremely knowledgable in what it would take to fix my gate. He said he'd charge me by the hour but he felt he could do the job in less than 2 hours. The job took 1.5 hrs to repair and he only charged me 1 hour labor plus material cost. I have had a lot of welding done over the years and the quality of his work is second to none. He did an OUTSTANDING job. Having someone stop what they were doing to come and help me says a lot about the demeanor of the business owner. The quality of his work was superior. I have referred him to others and they too have been extremely pleased. He's been welding for over 20 yrs and I just had to tell you how wonderful it is to know we still have small businesses that really care about their customers and he followed through with everything he said he would do. I plan on having him do more work for me since now I found out he can fabricate anything as well as fix trailers and gates. I promise you won't be disappointed if you call on this business, "Rusty's mobile welding" to do even the smallest jobs.
