We live in PA and had to trust our remax agent to run things and keep us posted on our tenants and upkeep of our home. We used them for about 2 years and although the fees were too high, we were unable to handle things ourselves. We finally came to Orlando to get the house ready to sell and we were shocked by our agent's, (Angel Hidalgo), lack of communication with us. There were many items that had been damaged and needed to be replaced, like some vertical blinds that one of the tenants children had ripped out and broke beyond repair. We had called Angel to get a recommendation on where to buy replacement blinds since what I was finding online was very expensive. He never called us back. I finally emailed him to that the replacement blinds that I found would eat up all of the security deposit and only then did he get back to us, stating that we can't do that and we can get blinds at some place he knew of gave us the name. That is all we had asked for to begin with. There were so many other issues that went unaddressed that needed fixing and Angel just didn't want to be bothered other than to continue to threaten us that we could not keep the security deposit for repairs and cleaning. The last communication with Angel was his tirade about the blinds so I called his manager, Fred Thompson, who was very apologetic and very helpful. I only dealt with him at that point. We had spent over $4,000 on repairs and cleaning and the deposit was only $1300. We submitted our receipts to Fred and got our deposit back. I would NOT recommend Remax for property management if you are unable to periodically check things out personally because the agent we had before Angel,(Mo Jabr) was even worse, and I heard he was no longer our agent because he was promoted!

Sidney and Kim Galloway are wonderful Realtors in the Orlando area. If you're interested in buying or selling, I'd recommend this team to anyone who is serious about making the transaction happen in a timely manner with minimal difficulties. They bent over backwards when we were trying to short-sell our townhouse, and worked tirelessly to help bring us buyers that would complete the transaction. They are especially helpful if you're attempting to buy or sell a foreclosure or short-sale property. They are trustworthy, and would be glad to even give you practical advice, even if you don't end up selling or buying through them. **Special Note: I listed the and quot;how much did you spendand quot; as zero, because I choose to keep that information private.

I recently retained David Welch of Re/Max 200 to sell my home after coming across his blog while doing some research on residential market conditions in Orlando. David met with me and discussed his strategy for selling my home and toured the property. David is very knowledgeable about the local market and recommended a listing price that was right in line with the research I had done. I decided to list my house with him and had a contract within two days (even in this economy)! David is very responsive to his clients and I found him very easy to work with. He is straightforward and gets things done - just what I needed! Selling and buying a home can be a time consuming and frustrating process, but with David's help I had no problems. I highly recommend him and will be using him again when I decide to purchase my next home!
