they're terrific!

Osvaldo painting solutions removed popcorn ceiling on a 1,766 sq ft house along with the garage at my daughter's house. They replaced the popcorn with knockdown texture and it took about 5 days. They were very efficient and did a great job. The price point was very reasonable and my daughter would definitely recommend him!

I have used Jose(Osvaldo) in the past and was so impressed with his wall paper and drywall work that I was eager to hired him again but this time for a larger job involving painting the exterior of a duplex. Once again the experience was professional and quick taking only two days for $1600. However, to my dismay I noticed that beside pressure washing little or no prep work was done. This came to my attention as other experienced handyman and painters pointed out the discrepancies throughout the project. So I reached out the following week to schedule a time with Osvaldo but I never followed up to lock do the date. So as the project came to the end, I noticed the discrepancies became increasingly worse so I reached out again to Osvaldo and actually locked down a date. I had no apprehension doing this because my previous experience was so positive that I gave it no second thought. I based this on the excellent experience, the warranty we discussed, and because he said I could call him to express any concerns. However, as I was driving to the site for our appointment Jose called me sounding quite aggressive on the phone. When I arrived at the site he approached me in a extremely aggressive manner. I was actually confused at why he was acting this way. For 15 minutes he raised his voice at me interrupting me at every moment. It was clear that he would not hear or even allow me to express my concerns. He was acting like a very very angry Troll. Before we could even finish walking the house he began walking to his truck and yelled the he would charge me extra to chalk the areas I was concerned about. Jose disappointed me. I thought I found a service that I believed had great value, professionalism and exceptional customer service. However, he very quickly jumped to an ill-informed conclusion where he suspected he may have to do some rework or give me my money back and he then attacked. I never write reviews, positive or negative, but I cannot unconditionally recommendation his company, work or customer service. Do not make my mistake otherwise you will be missing out on some great value. Please do handle him better than I did. Define the scope of work very carefully, do not allow him to rush you to pay him and either buy the paint yourselves or accompany him when buying the paint. He's work is C+ maybe B- when painting. The wallpaper removal job was excellent. However, if he suspects any rework or refund, the behavior you will witness is unnecessary and quite frankly and embarrassment. Note that most of his reviews where quick and efficient jobs but should there be any hiccup after payment. I am certain he will not work with you. If you are a small residential customer also note that he may have larger commercial client and and quot;will not need your businessand quot;. And yes I did say Troll. Ps. I wrote a previous review but it may not have gone through so I wrote another. Nice guy but proceed cautiously.

I liked everything about them. He was very professional. He gave me some things to think about, and I went from there. I just went with a larger firm because of liability.

My experience with Mr. Polanco was very pleasant and professional. He did everything as promised in our contract and even went over and above in some instances. I would highly recommend Jose Polanco and Osvaldo Paint Solutions to anyone looking for a true "professional painter".
