+ -1 moreKeith, the welder, was on time, polite, listened carefully to what I wanted to accomplish, and completed the work we discussed on time, under budget, and in a very professional manner. He was obviously very skilled and knowledgeable about his trade and it showed in his workmanship. He even cleaned up after himself! He was very pleasant to deal with and answered all my questions (even the dumb ones) to my satisfaction. I plan on having him come back in the fall sometime to do some aesthetic work on the trailer's exterior so that it's not just structurally sound but looks all fancy too.
Description of Work: My horse trailer was falling apart and needed to be reinforced in many areas. Many of the old welds were cracked or broken and some of the panels were rusted out quite badly. When the owner of the company, Mr. Connolly, came out to give me an estimate on what the repairs would cost he advised me that I would likely be better off purchasing a new one or at least a used one in better shape. I explained that although he was probably correct (as all my friends and family thought the same thing) the trailer in question had been given to me by my recently deceased grandfather and I had no intention of getting rid of it (call me sentimental). He made a list of the materials needed to do the job within my budget and had me order them from his supplier myself so that I would be assured I was paying the lowest possible price with no mark up. He even picked them up and delivered them to me at no extra cost. He finished the job in approximately 12 hours one Sunday & it turned out beautifully.

+ -1 moreThe gentleman showed up on time, listened to me very carefully when I explained what it is that I wanted him to do and then got to work right away. Along the way he had a few good ideas that were different then the ones I had originally thought of. He patiently explained to me why it would turn out better if I did it his way so I took a chance and we implemented his ideas. I'm glad we did because my trailer looks and functions better then it ever has. Overall it was a good experience and everything turned out great, if not better then I had hoped.
Description of Work: Repaired and reinforced my lawn trailer, added two tool boxes and installed two fenders.
