Was prompt in all aspects of the job. Was very pleased with finished product. I will use him again for other larger projects.

His quote was real high and so I didn’t go with him. He was professional and came out on time.

On time everyday, great work, just contacted him to repair roof damage from tree, will repair chain link fence, also will replace bathroom sink and toilet, will report when this is complete.

They are excellent. The bathroom looks great. They helped with the design and helped find the best prices to reduce cost. They gutted the whole bathroom and started from scratch.

They did a very good job, were very punctual and professional, and performed the work as expected.

It was a big-project, one which they completed with lots of hard work and great skill. They were beyond responsive to my concerns over the course of the two week project, and I even nit-picked at a bunch of things which they attended to with great care. This is a great group of people who could be trusted to be inside your house for a two week stretch of time without creating a major mess and showing respect to your surroundings.

Greg and his crew did a wonderful job of painting our house. They pay a lot of attention to detail, including repairing cracks and catching things you might not. They were very gracious in responding to a few glitches from the paint store mixing a bad batch of color - and all problems associated with that were dealt with swiftly and professionally. We are beyond happy with our new paint job and would easily recommend Greg and his company for any paint job.

Overall satisifed. The rain slowed them a bit but was generally pleased with the outcome. They do need to pay more attention to landscape and irrigation.

Greg showed up with a worker. He called to tell me the work was complete and that I could call in the rough plumbing inspection. I got home to find a hole in the wall behind the fridge with a 50 cent plastic hose connected to a $8,000 fridge? He did not install any type of recess box or fitting to go around the hose. At the sink, he cut off the existing pipe and connected a plastic/rubber fitting. It was loose. I explained to him that this was not professional and that I was not happy. He told me that is how it is done and that was the best he could do. I called the work in for the rough plumbing inspection and the inspector laughed. He asked if I did the work myself. He said that the connection at the sink was not allowed by code. He said it was a cheap part from the hardware store and that a No Hub Connector, Valley adapter or midland bushing was required. I spoke with Greg Elder about this and he would not correct the problem. He also asked me to contact the County to find out the code requirements for drywall thickness on the ceiling. I thought he was a contractor and this would be his job. I also thought he should be familiar with the code. There was a very large oil stain in my carport from their vehicles and they made no attempt to clean it up. Greg told me that he was a licensed contractor. I had to have one because this project is an owner builder permitted job. After seeing his work, I looked up his name, Greg Elder and company name, JG Elder on the state license website and there were no licenses listed in either name. I told Greg that I was very unhappy with his work and professionalism. I also informed him that I could not find his license information with the state. He told me to look further. I asked him for his contractors license number and he had nothing else to say. He asked for me to send him a $300 check for his plumbing work.

Great experience! Natalie and her crew did an excellent, careful job painting my house. They were careful to keep me informed about any issues that came up. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure that I was happy with the results.

He did a beautiful job. My greenhouse has never looked so nice. He was clean and neat. He picked up the debris he removed and left his work area clean. The workers he brought were good workers. I had a ramp attached to my front stoop and it had become slippery and I asked him to remove it for me and he did that at no extra charge. He was worth every penny he charged me, even though the price was high to me. He did everything necessary for the insurance to possibly pay for the bill. He took pictures and gave an itemized bill for me to provide to the insurance appraiser. The appraiser has not seen the home yet but will be out in September. He guaranteed his work. I will definitely hire him again when I need a carpenter.

I accepted the estimate of $595 for the repairs and requested he schedule the repair within the next few (3-4) weeks. Mr Elger said he would have to check his schedule and get back to me to schedule the repair. After about 5-6 weeks I still had not heard back from Mr. Elger so I called requesting a return call to schedule the repair. I never got a call back.

The work went much faster than I expected. Greg arrived with a team of four and one more showed up shortly after that. The bulk of the work was done the first day. Two people were out the next day to finish up the remaining projects. All the preparation and most of the installation of the recessed lighting was completed the first day as was the drop-down door installation. Clean up after the work was good, also. They also came out to touch up several small areas that were noticed after the work.

They charged much less than what I thought it would be. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are truly experts at home renovation, the best I have ever seen. They were friendly and professional. They charged very reasonable prices. They communicated well and gave constant feedback about the progress of the work. They were terrific to work with. Greg, the owner, was the best. I am still a little stunned at how good this was.

Natalie and a partner came out for three or four consecutive days in the blistering heat, sanded, prepped, and put four coats of a beautiful polyurethane finish on the ceiling. It looks as good as new. We are particularly impressed with the way this company addresses problems. They tried several different finishes before hitting on the right one and were willing to put more coats on if we requested it.

Good, courteous people that did the job (partially in rain) and did good work.

JG Elder was chosen out of 5 companies to paint the exterior of our home. Greg's daughter came out to look over colors with me. We found a color I liked and got approval from our home owners association. After approval, I asked for license and insurance information. He stumbled to find an excuse why he was unable to get it. He then advised me that he would have to travel about 10 miles to pick up the information. I even advised him that his agent could fax the information over to me, for verification. The next day I received a bill on my door of $195 for power washing that is not finished and they came by and picked up the sign that was in our lawn and equipment with no explanation. Along with the bill he also stated that I could put myself back on the waiting list or I could find someone else to do the job.

HE DOES A GOOD JOB AND HE IS VERY RESPONSIVE. HE IS BUSY AT TIMES, BUT HE WILL COME OUT AND TEMPORARILY FIX THE PROBLEM UNTIL HE CAN GET OUT TO FIX IT PERMANENTLY.

The team did a good job. One entire section of siding had to be replaced and it matches the rest of the house beautifully. The paint job came out really well. The house color went from a medium brown to a nice and bright sand color.

They arrived exactly when they said they would and did the work in a very professional manner in less than a week. When they realized they couldn't properly sand the fascia, they installed aluminum fascia shields, which increased the price, but we agreed before they did it. They cleaned up after themselves, came back to do an extra job we'd requested after they'd been paid, and still came in at a thousand dollars less than the highest bidder. We were very satisfied with the work, the workers, and the result.

The demolition of the kitchen went quickly. They only removed what was necessary as they progressed. This was very helpful in that we had a sink longer then we expected. Nat went with us to Lowe's and picked out the cabinets. She did all the measuring and it all worked well. The cabinets were some what of a challenge but they did a great job in making every thing fit and work properly. Removing part of the wall and door was done with great attention to detail. The entire job came out above our expectations. They do not work very long hours each day and that did expand the job by several weeks. However, I will diffentaly have them back for our next project. Several weeks after they finished we had a problem with one of the cabinets. Greg came out quickly and fixed it. Great job.

The weather was bad while they were working. They worked in and around the weather very efficiently. They did a good job masking out areas that were not to be painted. They caulked and painted and did a nice job. They are licensed and insured.

It went great. Mr. Elder met with me multiple times to go over the project, determine the schedule of the project and make recommendations on how best to do the job. His staff are great. They not only did a great job but were very careful during the project and making sure everything was left in better condition than when they started. They helped me with recommendations on color choice and border and accent applications. Very courteous and professional throughout the whole project. This included follow-up and a work inspection conducted both with and without me to make sure all was done to satisfaction. In fact, their standards of completion were much higher than mine.

Very pleasant and personable. Seemed to know a great deal about home maintenance.

Mr. Elder did not show up the week he was called and had to be called again to inquire as to what was happening and why hadn't he showed up. Came up with some weak excuse about a new truck. Anyways, he did show up then the following day and located a faulty GFI and replaced it. Felt the charge was a little high, but not excessive.
