Started this project in March and I am STILL waiting for them to finish it, a horrible job so far! Erosion of the concrete already and completely wrong type of roof! The inside walls totally bare (just wood!!!) and some places not even caulked.on top of all this, the communication is HORRIBLE, if I do not keep reaching out, I would be left hanging, which I basically have been ANYWAYS! and all I get is excuse after excuse! On top of all this, they put up the new enclosure w/o permits and then tried to blame it on me! When you HIRE a COMPANY to do a JOB, it should be a given that they are gonna do it correctly and legally, which means permits come first! Now here it is August and I am STILL waiting for something to get accomplished. I am no longer reaching out as I work 60 hrs./week and do not have time for this bs! I am finding this company on other sites w/other bad reviews as well, not surprised!

A complete botched job and horrible follow up experience.

I hired this company because they responded when I requested a flagpole repair/replace through another company on internet. I did not reach out to them specifically. They helped the issue with my flagpole but it is not fixed. I will need to secure another source because as nice and accommodating as they were, I do not have confidence that they have the experience to fix the problem.

The handyman was on time for the appointments, correctly identified the problem and the solution. The repair was made when scheduled in the bathroom. I think it was an average or below average job. The handyman did not clean up after himself, e.g. did not clean up water splashed on area around sink basin; did not shake out bathroom rugs to get out any splinters, old paint, dust and did not vacuum the area to clean it after he was done.

Very shoddy unprofessional work . Did not complete at least half the jobs I paid for. Does not respond well or quick enough to customer concerns.

Very unprofessionally run business and the promised skilled finish trim carpenter turned out to be anything but. We needed a built-in tv cabinet gutted in the interior section to accommodate a larger TV and the carpenter turned out to be more suitable for rough framing than for finish interior carpentry. Pieces were unsanded on the edges leaving sharp jagged edges and corners met at the top but were a half an inch apart at the bottom. I came into the room and found him painting pieces of the cabinet on my Oriental carpet with no drop cloth underneath! The whole thing was incredibly unprofessional. To make matters worse we have called the office for two weeks now and been promised that the carpenter would come back and make things right but he does not return our calls and the boss only tells us on his end that he has asked the guy to call us repeatedly. What a sorry business! Don't hire! We are left with a terrible mess.

We had our windows sealed but since it hasn t rained as of yet I don t know if all is perfect.

As he installed a sensor light the electricity in the garage got cut off and was unable to restore it. He adjusted the lock on my patio door and when he left I went to close it and the handle broke off. He had to return to replace it.

Handyman Connection in Winter Park, Florida, left my patio with damage when I hired them more than 2 months ago. They were supposed to remove the fire pit and fill with the bricks from the fire pit. The employee did not have knowledge and skill in masonry or hardscaping. He even brought a saw for wood to cut concrete pavers. The fact that the company has to hire a third party to fix the damage is proof that they should not have agreed to do the job because they do not have employees with the capacity to do this kind of work. The owner, Brien Borden, agreed to get it fixed; however, he has just kept giving excuses and delaying the repair. I have tried to discuss the responsibility for the payment of the repair several times in the course of almost 3 months, but he either ignores it or becomes belligerent and hangs up on me. For 2 months, he kept saying he could not find the right paver to repair my patio or could not find any paver company who was available to do the job. However, I called several paver companies, and they were available to come to my house and give me estimates within a day or two. A lot of my time has been diverted from my work and other obligations and I have gotten sick from trying to solve this problem with Brien for almost 3 months. The damage in my patio is also hazardous as the broken pavers and the hole could cause serious injury. Mistakes can happen but Handyman Connection in Winter Park has not shown honesty and professionalism to deal with their mistakes.

The handyman arrived and his boss,(started the business here from Colorado) came with him. I had requested an estimate for interior paint and also to have 3 peg boards taken off a small bedroom wall. The paint est.was 1500.00 higher than any others and the pegboard which took 15 minutes cost (per his boss) 125.00

I will give them A+!!

Greg was prompt, professional and knowledgeable. He completed the job and left it in better condition than originally installed.
