FAS Windows & Doors

It was very good. We had very good services from them. I used them in 2007. It was a pretty big project so I'm not sure of the price, but they were reasonable, we did a lot of shopping and we took the quality o the windows into consideration. The company represented themselves well.

I don't have any complains at all. They did a great job. We've been very happy with the work and we never had to call back. It was actually we expected and my husband does more what I did and he didn't tell me that he was unhappy. It was appropriately priced.

I had a good experience with them but they just took a long time to set up an appointment with me. Other than that it was good. I spent about $8000. They did what they promised they would do.

It was a very good experience and I like them very much. I had no problem with that and they're very good. They're a little high but they're delivering high quality.

It was outstanding. They did the job. They cleaned up after themselves. We had a window that was locked in and then later they had to come in and changed that out...nothing but good.

Estimator came, knew what we wanted, didn't try to sell us anything else even when I asked for ideas on windows! Door order ran a little long from manufacturer but when it arrived they were right on it for the install. Installers took one whole day but the door and the detail was top notch. Price was a little high but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.

Very professional, and I would use them again. They are a little expensive, however, I went with another company for 3 windows (cheaper), and the service was awful. Spending a little more money was worth it in the long run. I would most definitely use them again.

Everyone at FAS were friendly and helpful throughout the process. Salesman explained all the options and made sure we understood what we were ordering. The installer, a subcontractor, was very thorough about making sure codes were followed, and that there was no mess left behind. He was also very patient in answering all my questions about the installation! I would highly recommend FAS. They are probably not the cheapest, but have a quality product and fine workmanship.

Install went pretty smooth from my perspective. replaced 17 windows 5 sliding doors and 2 utility doors. It took about 4 1/2 days but they look and work great.

The product is excellent. Installation was on time, workmen cleaned up well afterwards. Warranty is good also. Doors were expensive but comparable to other companies.

FAS was extremely professional from start to finish. They provided me with all the required insurance and permits, were in and out in one day, and the windows are beautiful and very energy efficient. One of the installers noticed a small defect in one of the windows, they ordered the new part and came out promptly and replaced it. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

FAS replaced 9 windows and 1 patio door in one day, very professional, quality job.

Perfect--we needed them installed at a certain time and they met that deadline. Hardly knew installers were here..clean up was great. Highly recommend.

They did very good work. They are very responsive and we were very happy with them. We area hiring them again now to replace everything they didn't replace back them; ie storm doors and some larger windows.

They did a great job sizing everything. The work ended up fine. The did a great job tearing out the old and replacing. Didn't even need to paint. The only issue we had was with one door. They had to come back on it.

The installation of the door was great. We did experience an extended time period for this project. The salesperson visited and measured. The actual installer visited and measured prior to the door being ordered. There seems to be too much time between each of the visits. This project was initiated in late June of 2013 and took about 5 months to get to completion due to 3 window insert replacements. | |The work that was performed was done professionally. Care was taken to ensure our home was not marred in any way. Clean up was great. The door looks fantastic and we are very happy with it.

The job was ordered in March and was not completed until November. The installer was rude and would not install the door properly - he wanted to install it sticking two inches into the patio, not flush with the outside of the house like our other doors.. He broke the stoop going out to the patio, and he broke some of the tile in our family room. We had to ask him to leave our home and it took almost nine months to finish the job. When finally finished, the wooden sill cracked and we had to pay someone else to install a marble one, and the new installer showed us there was next to no insulation around the door. We just joined Angie's list and when I saw FAS, I just had to write this review. We have the invoice and documentation for all of this and we kept notes. We would never use them again. We love the door but hated the service.

Scott, responded with several quotes and price revisions. We could not come to terms due to FAS reluctance to quote a different brand of front door. Their ProVia model was beautiful, but outside the budget. Scott, didn't seem interested in the business, or he was not in the position to provide another brand at an acceptable price point, so we moved to the other contractors. In all fairness to FAS, they are a first class company and they have installed windows in my house over the last several years and did a great job! I will consider them for my upcoming window job.

Went to the showroom, the person we met with was very pleasant. We were looking for pricing/alternatives and were in the shopping stage. We told them we were recommended by Angie's List. While we were there, they explained about the vendors they use, their superior installation process and reputation. We were told that we would get follow up information with detailed costs, multiple views/options (glass, style) that would be rendered on the vendors system. After 3 reminders, we got a very quickly thrown together email explaining that the double doors we wanted couldn't be used with handled hardware (AMAZING that this was not an option) and after some back and forth were told that steel doors were available (a photocopy of a page out of a brochure was included) and that was it. After waiting, after not getting what we were promised, and then being told that a simple hardware choice wasn't available, we moved on to another vendor. We were able to get prices and quotes from 2 other companies and have made our purchase. The purchase was exactly as we requested of FAS (two double outside doors, fiber glass, double sets of handled hardware, with decorative/opaque full lite glass).

Went to the home show. Got a call to set up an appt. sales person came said he would send us a quote by afternoon the next day and send us their door catalog via email. Didn't receive the quote until 4 days later and never got the catalog.
