Very courteous and thorough estimator - out of all the estimates we received, this company was the most detailed and thorough. Very courteous and hard working roofers, who took time out to show me the rotted wood that was removed from under the shingles.

What I was told was not put in contract. My bad should have read it better!

It went very well and I was very pleased. The guy that came out and did the estimate was very reassuring and very thorough. David the owner called me and reassured me that they had taken care of everything properly. It was a small job that took a long time because they did it correctly and thoroughly. I would recommend them highly.

Wonderful to deal with this company! Was able to schedule a site visit within a week and called the night before to confirm the time. The day of the appointment, called 30 minutes before to let me know he'd be about 10 minutes late. Wish everyone was that courteous! Would highly recommend.

It took the better part of 2 weeks to complete the job, due to weather conditions (rain) and the difficult removal of the old roofing materials. The tear-off crew had a lot of trouble with it and it took a long time. The shingling crew worked efficiently and long hours to finish their part of the job, and the carpentry crew went beyond my expectations. But the finished job looks beautiful. I would like to include a picture of our house because it looks so good but I don't know how to do that. I posted a picture on my facebook page and everyone said how elegant and beautiful it looked.

Let me start by saying I contacted 5 different roofing companies prior to contacting Mr. Lundbergs company. One was not interested in the job because it was to small of a project. A couple sent people out for inspections and quotes and I am still waiting to back from them on the pricing. Two scheduled times for to meet to inspect the project and failed to show up. Now to Lundberg Building and Roofing. From the first time I called they have been the most professional roofing company I have dealt with. They scheduled a time for the representative to inspect the project and they showed up exactly on time. They communicate with you extremely well and most importantly are fair and honest with you in regards to pricing and scheduling the work that will be done. I was so impressed with their professionalism that I have also called them to help me with a leak on my office building that I own. They showed up as scheduled and found a small nail that needed patching, which they did on the spot and free of charge. I own a business and I can only hope the my company and its representatives act as professional as David Lundberg's.

They were punctual, responsive, and trustworthy.

Mr. Lundberg came out to do the bid. After climbing up and examining our roof, he recommended several areas for repair and provided a complete written bid on the spot to include a 1 year warranty. After comparing another bid, we decided to go with David Lundberg and scheduled his team to do the work. They arrived right on time and began work immediately completing the job in less than 4 hours. The crew was very professional and cleaned up completely. We are very pleased with their service and strongly recommend them for any roofing work you might have.

The workers showed up on time and were professional. The quote was accurate and more affordable than the other quotes I received. The repair was completed in a timely manner, as promised. I would recommend using this company in the future.

A very professional job was done from bid to completion. Additional work was necessary to repair some damage to gutters since the gutters needed to be separated for proper installation. David followed up with G & M construction to replace one damaged section and inspect/repair any loose sections. The quote for the work was the highest of the bids requested. However, David informed me of his certification to inspect the total roof and submit a Wind Mitigation Report to my insurance company for a potential reduction in home insurance. The report resulted in a significant reduction in our home insurance.

Mr Lundberg was very professional from day one. I called several different roofers for estimates and every one else did not show up when they said they would. Mr Lundberg was even early and was on the roof when I pulled into the driveway. The house is about 100 yrs old and the new roof restores the beauty of the house. Mr Lundberg's team came immediately and fixed a slight issue that I had with one of the panels. I recommend his company to everyone.

He was fine. I don’t think your great deal is such a great deal. I don’t think I would do it anymore. We did quite a few but were not satisfied. He did what he said he was going to do. The job was fine. No, I don’t think they did anything above and beyond nor did they do anything negative. I think price was probably right. No, we didn’t use them because we just had a new roof redone.

One of the reasons I chose Lundberg was because each year thereafter, they use a leaf blower to clear debris off the roof, which is needed because there are live oaks on both sides of my house. This year, Cam used a gas-powered leaf blower, but in 2013, David Lundberg used a broom, which I didn't appreciate. I offered David my electric leaf blower, which he declined. Overall, the roof job looks terrific, and Cam said the roof materials need no attention. I'm a hands-on homeowner, and whenever I employ tradespeople, I ask a lot of questions to learn, etc. In 2012, I told David that his roof foreman was a little nonplussed when I asked him questions about replacing the roof decking and some other things. To his credit, he apologized for the foreman's attitude, and I appreciate that he took time to understand the circumstances.

Cam was on time, professional and courteous, and proceeded to the roof for the estimate. The outer protective cap on the vent pipes were chewed away and he fixed 3 of the 6. He did these minor repairsat no charge. I would definitely recommend David Lundberg's company.

David Lundberg Roofing is an outstanding company. David himself arrived at the precise time he said he would for the quote. After measuring the roof, the quote was given (and accepted) on the spot. His men began the job exactly when he estimated they could begin and completed it in a week. They were very professional and polite and kept all the materials off the lawn. The roof looks beautiful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use his services again. Kudos to you and your crew, David!

Everyone at Lunberg was a joy to deal with! When rain was on the way before our scheduled work, they immediately came out and put tarps over the damaged area -- and I do mean immediately, like within hours. The work began and was completed per our agreed upon schedule. The project was on budget. There was an issue with the workmen removing some of the solar heating plumbing without my prior approval. However, David immediately said they would pick up any cost to have it restored - without my having to ask - that was very impressive. One of their technicians made 2 trips prior to the work to make sure we had a clear understanding of what solar equipment had to be moved and to double check the leak source with new stains appeared on the ceiling. He also recommend good methods of eliminating the stains after the work was completed. There is no doubt who we'll call if we ever need roofing work again. Thanks, David and team!

Needing a balcony repair for rotted or damaged wood, I heard roofing companies provided this service. Lundberg was recommended to me by my home inspector and also had great reviews on Angie's List, so I called to see and was told David would be great, he's also a general contractor not just a roofer. So he did come out to take a look at it. Very nice guy, I really liked him. He even gave me a quick roof inspection for free. I just wish I had ever gotten a quote for the balcony repair! Was promised a quote right then, which was going to come soon. Nothing... I even emailed back about two weeks later and was told Dave was just busy, but did in fact have some ideas for my balcony and would get with me on a price right away. Again, nothing... I was very disappointed that no one ever got back to me at all even after that. And since he was so nice it pains me to write this review, but I feel it's very dismissive of a customer to just not get back to them. Maybe this job was too small for them? But in that case, maybe tell me? Or maybe it wasn't their expertise? Fine, they're roofers, I understand. But again, tell me or maybe even recommend someone who can do it? I had this company on my short list for when I need my roof replaced. I'm not sure about that now. Meanwhile, I still haven't found the right answer - let alone the right service provider - for my balcony ...

***UPDATE (4/17): David contacted me and came out at my earliest convenience and looked at the problem, took note of my concern and inspected and corrected the problem. He did inform me that there had been a clear layer of caulk placed on the area in question, but said he ran some darker caulk over the clear to help the area not show daylight and insure that it was sealed properly. I am satisfied with the job that has been done, and I would consider using them again in the future, or at least get a comparative quote. Overall I feel they do a good quality job, and do care about their customers.*** I can not personally go up there and inspect every detail of it as I am guessing it is about 25 feet off the ground. But the overall job appears to have been done correctly and the rotten wood was removed and damaged fascia/sub-fascia replaced. Problem is that they did not put a line of caulk/sealant between the new fascia and the super gutter. You can see daylight up through it when looking up from the ground. In my opinion with no caulk/sealant here then water will run through this area, and the area will hold moisture in turn making the wood rot again. I have contacted them twice in regards to this oversight. Yet no one has come out to correct it. The 1st contact was on Monday (3/24/14), the 1st business day after the work was completed. I was not able to contact them sooner since the work was completed on a Friday (3/21). I was unable to be home to give my final approval since I was contacted less than 24 hours before they intended to do the job. I explained I could not be home on such short notice, they said that it would not be a problem they would complete the work and I could pay by credit card on Monday. Upon contacting them to make payment I explained the problem and was told that someone would be out that week to look at it and correct it. Two weeks passed and nothing was corrected. I contacted them again on Monday (4/7) and explained the situation again. The receptionist talked to David who indicated to her to tell me he would be out to correct it himself. He also had mentioned to her that someone had come out but could not find the problem. To the best of my knowledge no one had come on my days off, or had left notice they were there, nor did they make any attempt to contact before arriving. I explained I would be available all day on Thursday (4/10) and that I could show them where the oversight was; just too please call me before they came. No one ever called and I was home nearly the entire day waiting. The boards need to be painted, so I could always have a painter (who would likely use a different type of caulk) correct the oversight. Or hire a handy man at additional expense. I am more frustrated that I have contacted them twice, and been promised the problem would be corrected and that it has not been. I will give them one last opportunity to correct the simple oversight. But their attention to detail in this matter seems to be lacking especially for a company with such high ratings.

David Lundberg Building & Roofing said my roof was under warranty so he sent someone out today. They went beyond the 10 foot patch from before. They went around it and added on so we'll see if what happens. I've had this trouble for six months. I have used them in the past and will use them in the future.

Dave himself came and gave me the estimate that day and answered many questions. His price was the middle of 3 quotes, but I felt more confident in his years of experience and his reputation with Angie's. He accurately said it would take about 5 days, a little longer than the others. Heavy winds caused some delay. I wasn't in a rush and quality was more important to me. While I really did not need to be there they gave me updates and answered questions along the way. He had a small team of professional employees (not contractors) do the work and there was no language barrier. They took care of a small amount of wood repair at no extra cost. I chose the option of replacing the chimney cap for an extra $190 but later learned another $450 would be required for chimney carpentry work and they repainted at my request. The architectural shingles were an extra $312. As a building contractor he provided a wind mitigation report at no extra charge. $10,920 covered it all. The dumpster took up only half of the driveway and they cleaned up well. I have recommended them to others and will continue to do so.

Just wanted to give this provider a great review for professionalism. We did not use this company but it was a coin toss between them and another company. We went with the other company based on some philanthropic work they do. With that said I would not have hesitated to use this company. The gentleman, CAM, that came to give me a quote was on time, professional, informative and very nice. Like I said, I felt complete confidence in this company after this meeting and I'm confident they would have done an equally good job.

They were awesome, professional and accurate. The work on my 1930's home was perfect. The thing I like about them was that they have a variable thing for anything damaged, which carries an extra cost. The extra cost per unknown was very reasonable, very good. I give them "A"s across the board. I last saw them in June. They put a brand new roof on the main house and the garage.

I used them so many times. They are very responsive, always on time, and very honest. When there is a warranty, they keep their promise and come back to fix the roof. Their price is reasonable.

Great company to work with. We would definately use them again and recommend them highly.
