Great, was on time and he did a good job replacing the missing shingles.

They've always been a really good company. He's a good guy. He's always on time. His people do good work and his price is always fair. His price is right in the money with everyone else. I have mentioned him to other people, and I would use him again if I need roofing.

I think they had to take a photograph and send it to my insurance company. It was free, no charge on those. It is still holding up. It was the owner. They are very responsive. It is always the same ladies in the office and they don’t lose your messages or anything like that. They do a good job there.

If you have gutters DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! They did a great job on the new roof. They are left sagging gutters, the screens are beat up and will need to be replaced. Very disappointed after being told that we work with gutters all the time. Jolene Ammons Chuluota

David came to Estimate, very professional and Nice, quickly done. The customer service is always polite. when you have questions, you call or leave a message on the phone, they always give you answers or reply. if you email them, that might take a while. I sent the acceptance of appraisal, wish that I get some kind of reply such as" received", but nothing. no big deal. The Roofer came to work As soon as they are available, always ring the door bell and notify you first. I don't know how the works done, but we will let the hurricane test it. The price is fair, it's much cheaper than the other company give to us, we can also use coupon from Angie list. so far so good.however after I paid, I wrote email ask question, never get reply either. I guess their email department is down...I guess I shouldn't complain, they did good job on roof, that's the most important thing.

Great job. Professional crew. Of course it rained between ripping off the old and putting on the new which resulted in a leak. David himself came out to repair it within an hour of our call. I can't say enough good things about them. This is the 2nd roof they have put on our house.

The provider inspected the damage, took several pictures, and told us to follow-up with the builder since the defects were as a result of code violations by the builder. The builder has agreed to fix the damage. He provided a detailed assessment and did not charge for the visit. I appreciate the detailed assessment that saved me the cost of getting it repaired myself and also will help to rectify the faulty installation. I will call them back after the damage has been fixed to ensure that the roof was properly fixed by the builder.

I can only say good things about David's company. I presented them with quite a challenge. This old leaky roof needed significant repair and It took several visits by his repairmen but they were determined to solve my leaky issues. Really conscientious guys. If I ever have another problem David Lundberg Building & Roofing is who I will call.

Condensed from copious notes... <><> History: Our current Central Florida house, with a hip roof, was built in 1970. We have been living in it since 1995. In 1997, we upgraded our A/C to a 11.0 SEER unit, plus had all of the original duct work replaced. (It cost $4140 back then.) In 1999 we had the utility company perform their energy audit, and ended up adding R-19 insulation to the attic then. That improved, but did not solve the overall comfort problem, and our electric bills still were higher-than-typical for a house our size. Over the years, we've had roofers, attic insulators, A/C contractors and even two utility company engineers specifically investigate. They all failed to figure out why our A/C runs and runs and two bedrooms in particular are uncomfortably hot, when the rest of the house is nominally comfortable. The utility company engineers' reasons were more elaborate, but NONE gave us a solid, fixable, solution. <><> David Lundberg Building and Roofing was one of the companies contacted to assess our roof and attic ventilation issues. Initial contact was with ?Wendy? on 06/17/2015 @2:55 PM. She scheduled an appointment for 06/25/2015 @1:30PM. <><> David Lundberg arrived at 1:20 PM. He reviewed my home's history (above), then went about measuring the roof. He looked in the attic to see if we have roof trusses or rafters (rafters). He said: A) The existing ridge vent opening is cut correctly. It is good. B) The metal screen SOFFIT like ours typically has nothing behind it. He couldn't think of a way to check it. C) He agrees that the temperature difference between ambient air and attic air of 39 degrees is way too much. [Following the recommendations of an insulation contractor (see my review) I had measured the temperatures using two digital thermometers that had high/low temperature memory capabilities.] D) Our roof has maybe 5 to 6 years left in it. E) David said... maybe ...off ridge vents would help [improve ventilation] air flow. F) He'll do some calculations at the office and contact me. <><> Solution for B): It was suggested by someone else to take some baling wire and poke it though the tiny soffit holes in several places. If it is open, unblocked (nothing behind it), the wire should go several inches without hitting anything. I tried it, and the wire when only an inch or less everywhere I tried. There was something behind the aluminum soffit preventing good air flow. (See my soffit company reviews.) <><> I never did here from David Lundberg again. (No proposal, email, phone call). I didn't pursue it because the two other roofing contractors I contacted both provided a far more comprehensive, more confident, evaluation of our attic overheating problem, with actionable items. (See my roofer reviews.) By deservedly A-rating them, plus not getting a follow-up from David is why I have to give him a professionalism rating of C-average. While he did nothing wrong, these issues plus his uncertainty about a solution knocked him out of contention for contracted work.

I had been having a leak in my roof that was distorting the dry wall in the corner of my garage for quite some time since I owned the home. Prior to David Lundberg Building & Roofing working on my roof, I had 2 other roofing companies come prior to patch the leak unsuccessfully. An inspector came about a month prior to the actual date of service to assess the roof and gave me an actual quote. The installers (2 man group) came and informed me it would be a full day job. They came in the morning (9:30ish am) and finished towards the end of of the afternoon/beginning evening that day (4:30ish pm). They replaced roof shingles towards the middle of my roof (which included the valley area) going all the way to the front of my home above the garage and where my entrance of my home was as well as installed new flashing that fixed my leak going into my garage. When the job was finished, they made sure any remnants/leftover material not used was cleaned up and placed back in their truck . They also took several pictures of the progression of the work they did including the problem areas that were fixed. They also tried to flush out the roof/gravel sediment that collected in my rain gutters from the older shingles which was appreciated. The only flaw of the job which was not their fault as I did not provide or have any paint that matched the color of my home at the time (the inspector asked if I could get that in time before the installers came) was that the flashing they installed is metal and noticeable against the flesh colored paint of my home. I need to get that painted so it doesn't look out of place. But the flashing which they installed was higher and does the job well of diverting the water where its supposed to go (I didn't have that before.) All in all, I was very please with the job, and I'm glad that they were the company that fixed my roof water leak and that I found them through Angie's list.

They came out promptly, quoted promptly and fixed the roof leak promptly. I am very pleased with the quality of service and repair work on my roof. I higly recommend this company. They even followed up with a "Thank You" card.

First problem arose, I contacted them constantly. I spoke to Lunberg directly. I have been informing them that the work is getting worse. I have complied with all their requests. They painted the area and sealed the area and nothing worked-it wasn't addressing the issue. Water is coming through the porch inside the building near the door. I noticed someone had been there recently. There is a shingle that has been pulled off the roof. The property now has major problems inside from this damage. I have written Lunberg directly (8/21/15) requesting to have their work fixed without any response. I spoke to the office manager. There is lack of oversight and supervision with this company. This has gone on for 4 months without any resolution. The work never took care of the issue to begin with. At this point, it is a financial situation and is taxing. What has been created is a financial hardship for a job that was never done properly to begin with. To date, no course of action has been given to address the problem.

Came on time. Everyone we had contact with were very friendly. Got the job done on time. There has been a lot of rain since they repaired leak---excellent job. No leaks since repair. We heartily recommend this company!!! From the office to the workmen all were extremely impressed. We will call again if we need any other work done. A++

David Lundberg Roofing performed an estimate for a roofing repair. They were very helpful and responsive. I would use their services in the future.

I reached out to them based on a word of mouth recommendation, and was glad that I did. They promptly provided an estimate and then scheduled the work in a reasonable amount of time. I was very particular about the type of skylights that I wanted, so they suggested that I work directly with the skylight distributor to ensure that nothing got lost in translation. They then scheduled the work to start the day the skylights were due to arrive and showed up when they said they would. They finished the job in a reasonable amount of time, but did not appear to rush through the job. I appreciate that, as it seemed like they were being meticulous about getting it right. We have not had any significant rains since then, but when the rains do come, I expect the house to stay nice and dry once again.

I'm very happy with their service. The last time we used them was probably a couple years ago, but I did use them several times. They are very knowledgeable and the company is great to respond. They return phone calls and their price is reasonable. They are also very honest. They have done at least five jobs for me. The best quality is actually the quality of their work because with our house the previous owner said the leak was repaired already, but after they moved out it was still leaking and the first thing that they do was repair it. After they repaired the problem we never had problems again. After many, many rains in the last several years it never happened again.

Mr lundberg wanted to make sure me the customer was happy . If I ever know anyone who needs roof work . David lundberg will be the first one I call.

They also removed and repositioned a gutter and placed a downspout and attached it to the house. That is doing great so far also. Lastly, we had some serious leaking between the panels on our screened in patio and some serious issues with debris getting caught in hard to reach areas. The clean everything out and sealed seems and openings that were catching debris. So far so good, but we haven't; had a downpour yet, but it looks great and I expect it to be fine.

I own two vacation homes in Florida, and I live out-of-state, so it is very difficult to find contractors that I can trust, especially long-distance, so I rely on the honest reviews of my fellow Angie's List members. I contacted four roofing contractors via the "contact us" button on the Angie's List website. Two of those four contractors never replied at all. David Lundberg Roofing replied very quickly, and we were able to get a time scheduled for an estimate the next week. The company arrived when they said they would, and they provided their estimate a few days later. Although I decided against using David Lundberg Roofing, I wanted to take the time to leave them a positive review because they were very responsive to my inquiry, and I will certainly consider them again should I need a roofer in Florida. My decision not to use them was driven primarily by their schedule, as I needed the leak taken care of as soon as possible, and given their reputation and popularity, they would have needed to schedule me a bit farther out.

I had asked David to fix what I thought was a minor leak on the front porch of my colonial style house. His crew came out and put adhesive under all the shingles to seal potential leaks caused by rusty roofing nails. Everything seemed fine, but about a week later there was a period when it rained very, very hard for several days. The leak was still there. I called him up and he agreed to come out again and fix it under warranty. This time around his crew tore up the old shingles and discovered that the plywood was rotten over most of the porch. The crew ripped out and replaced about two thirds of the roofing plywood. They put down all new rubberized roofing felt on the entire porch and replaced all the shingles. I ended up with almost an entirely new porch roof! They didn't charge me anything additional for the repair either, even though I volunteered to pay for all the new materials. (I may yet do that.) While it remains to be seen whether the leak is finally fixed, David and his crew certainly did a heroic job. It sure looks good and if this doesn't fix it I don't know what will.

He is extremely good. He uses anywhere from four to five people and they are all vested into the business. They are closer to a very efficient handyman. I have been around some less than great contractors. They have been great. They came in on either a Monday or Wednesday, and within 3 days, they had the rotten wood replaced, sealed and painted, ridge vents in, and the rotten wood around the windows removed. They did the roof first, and they were excellent! They didn't require any money up front, which told me they were very sincere and genuine about the work they were doing.
