Communication was fast, super helpful, didn't charge us anything to chat. Was honest with us that it was going to expensive. While we didn't have the work done, if we DO need work this is the type of individual I want to work with.

Amazing! Very polite, clean and through. Were on time everyday they were to report to my house. They worked outside my son (infant) room and weren’t loud – very respectful. Would definitely recommend and work with again.

I contacted this company and spoke with Lou Romao. He came out on March 14th and gave me an estimate for the work. He was very personable and listened to and answered all of my questions. He also was knowledgable about the permits needed for this work. After a couple other estimates, I decided to go with Concrete Solutions and I have no regrets. They sent all the paperwork that needed to be filed as soon as I decided to hire them and started the job quickly. The crew started the work on April 18th. They were very professional and responded to all of my concerns. Having been a home owner in FL for 23 years, I know that no construction project goes perfectly without any problems, but if you have a company that is willing to work with you and handle any problems that come up with great customer service, you should keep them on your list for future projects. They were always just a phone call away and responded to all questions quickly and enthusiastically. I will keep this company on my list. Thank you Lou, Tony and crew for a job well done!

After a long conversation with Luke; we decided it would cost almost as much for the parking pad as a new driveway. He suggested other ideas to get us by a few years until we decide to invest in a new larger driveway. Which in the long run we'd be happier. He was quick to respond to my email, was helpful & honest. I would recommend using him for you next project & in the future plan on using them myself. Thanks.

Lou took care of the permit with the city and all the paperwork. He was very communicative and responded always within a few hours if we had a question. It's a family affair with his brother Tony who knows his stuff and their delightful father Miguel who oversees everything. This contractor family was all over the job from demo to the end product. There was a minor communication issue about which plants to remove and it was fixed in one phone call and fixed right. They mix the concrete on site and have their own pump - no wheelbarrows just freshly mixed 4000 psi concrete that has fiberglass mixed inside for reinforcement. Some contractors rated on Angie's list do not have this and it DOES make a difference. One day to demolish and haul away, next day city came by to approve and the 3rd day they poured the concrete. The city revisited after the pour - we had NO issues. Also there was no demand for 50% payment upfront, you pay after the job is finished - another important point to note. The family is also so friendly and I cannot emphasize enough how much they educated us on the concrete business. I highly recommend and would use them again.

Angie's List took my review down, but not before I received a threatening call from this company, saying they were going to sue me for all the business he had lost.

They were up front about how the project would go and did a great job. I will only use them for concrete work.

Anthony came out to give me a quote this morning. He was both punctional and professional and he answered all my questions to my satisfaction. I can't rate him on price or quality at this point since I am waiting on other quotes but would have no problem using his company if I choose his bid.

We are doing a full back yard renovation. We are trying to put out a full concrete patio on in our backyard. The co-owner came out and looked at the job and told us it would be $15,000. At the time there was already a wood deck so they couldn?t see what the full job was. I ripped out the wood deck and realized that there 4 ft. of concrete and a hot tub in the ground. I called him after I found this out and told him about the concrete and the rebar and he told me that his crew would be able to take care of it with jackhammers. They were not consistent with the time that we agreed up. Originally they were supposed to be here at 7, then it changed to 8, and finally they got here at 8:30. His dad and two other workers came out with sledge hammers. They told us that they would never be able to do it. They told me that they were just going to make it level with the door and not take out the existing concrete. After they told me this, I told them that they needed to leave. When the co-owner contacted me, he told me that during our prior agreement that I never had told him that there was rebar in it. He didn?t come out with the equipment agreed up and they were not going to complete the job that we agreed upon. Aside from all of that there was no contract that was written on the job itself.

On initial phone contact Lou graciously agreed to meet me on my schedule one weeknight after I got home from work. Lou was prompt and even though it was raining when he arrived we stood in the rain and surveyed the yard. He listened to my vision for the project and said they could definitely do exactly what I wanted but did point out a few slope considerations for drainage and went to his car and retrieved a surveying level which helped finalize the discussion with a solid plan. We arranged a start date in late May and like clockwork Lou showed up with his crew, a large dumpster, and bobcat to begin excavation. When I got home from work the yard was excavated exactly how we had discussed it would be. The following day his crew arrived and framed in the site for the pour. Two days later the crew and cement truck showed up again right on time early in the morning to begin the pour. Lou talked to me about options for surface coating to prevent the pad from becoming an ice skating rink when wet and my wife and I decided to put on a knock down finish. Lou provided a large range of finish color options (we chose pina colada) and he ordered the material to return in 2 weeks to complete the task. Once again Lou's crew were on time and had it finished and long gone by the time I arrived home. I couldn't be happier. and this was no ordinary patio extension and it turned out fantastic. Great job Lou! I'd recommend him to anyone, anytime. Professional, easy to work with, always on time. A throw back to the days of customer service done right.

It was a great help to talk to Louis about our rehab project. Although I have no need to hire him right now, I'm sure I'll call him when I do. He was helpful, friendly, and positive. Refreshing!

They went above and beyond what was originally planned. They even helped me get a flag pole base installed at the last minute.

It was extraordinary and we were blown away with the work that they did. The contractor that is building our garage said he is going to start using them as well. We had a very complex job that needed a real concrete artist to be able to figure out all the angels, elevations, and degrees. They were just amazing and we were so lucky to have found them. All the tradesmen that have been working for us have made comments on the driveway. I cannot say enough about them and their skills were off the chart. We would never use anybody else going forward and they got the job done in about one week. They did everything from framing, compacting, grading, pouring, and made sure that all the drainage problems were accounted for. They stayed all day everyday with their team to make sure that everything was done perfectly.

Lou did an amazing job. He was one of 2 vendors who actually returned my call. It was peak season when I contacted him and about 8 others. He was extremely professional, reliable, and gave me the honest truth about the complexity of my job because of the slope of my backyard. The job was completed as promised and I am extremely pleased with the final job. I highly recommend Lou for any concrete related jobs!!!

Exceptional service and handling of anticipated and unanticipated challenges without additional charges, fees, or time requirements.

From initial contact, back and forth communication between supplier and me was open and consistent. With the exception of the slight time delay in getting county permitting, all went as planned and properly executed. The project was a fairly straight forward proposition; remove damaged and buckled concrete, and replace with like-kind. Concrete Solutions did just that and the end results were super. While the bulk of the work occurred while no one was home, I did happen to come home one of the work days and see the crew tamping down the dirt and readying it for the concrete pour the next day. They cleaned up after themselves, corrected a minor issue after bringing it to their attention., and fulfilled their obligations. Since I've lived in this house since it was built 26 years ago, I hope this driveway outlasts the original one. Being a business owner myself who sub-contracts out work, it was refreshing to have someone actually do what they said they would, on time and on budget. Thank you Lou and your team. Lou was always punctual, always answered my phone calls and questions, and he kept me informed during the entire process. He helped us walk through our options for circular drives or widening the existing driveway dimensions. Ultimately, we decided to widen the driveway by 3 feet. They handled the permits and everything was demolished, hauled away, cleaned up, and replaced as expected and on time. His brother, Tony, handled the demo, framing, and pour and was courteous and informative as well. We are so happy with the end result and love the extra 3 feet which allows both drivers and passengers to enter and exit the car comfortably. We couldn't be happier with the results or with the experience.

Everything went smooth and on time. Only thing wrong inspector said they should have put expansion joints next to house foundation.

We had seen some of the other reviews for Concrete Solutions, and needed to have sections of our driveway replaced where the concrete was raising up. Lou was responsive from the very beginning, and very patient. We have an extremely large driveway, so Lou met with me a couple of times to try to figure out the best way to design the concrete replacement that would be most cost-effective and still accomplish what we needed to accomplish. When we made our decision on the layout for the concrete replacement, Lou's brother took over for the installation. Anthony was just as wonderful to work with as Lou. He and his team were punctual, courteous, friendly and skilled. The areas of the driveway that we replaced look terrific, and we are so glad we finally took the plunge! The permitting and inspection process was also a breeze - no problems at all. We would definitely recommend this company to others.

I knew only a little about concrete driveways. To be sure we got what we needed at a fair price, I did some research. I used www.homewyse.com to get the local cost estimate for installing a concrete driveway. I used the Portland Cement Association (www.concrete.org) to find out about subgrade preparation, reinforcements, the type of concrete mix, how thick to make it, the types of finishes, crack mediation, joint types and frequency, sealing, etc. I also spoke to a very helpful ?Bill? at local concrete supplier ?Virgil Brothers? who gave me specifics about concrete in Florida. Armed with knowledge, I prepared a project requirements document. And called Lou Ramao. He came out, showed him the requirements and was very impressed with his knowledge of concrete. He has a degree in concrete technology. That evening he emailed a detailed estimate. His estimate was very, very close to another top-rated Angie's list contractor. It was really tough for my wife and I to decide. We went with the other contractor only because that contractor did a bit more at the initial meeting. Our experience with the other contractor didn't turn out so good. We now regret not going with Lou Ramao of Concrete Solutions of Central Florida.

I am so happy with the driveway that Concrete Solutions replaced for us. They do top quality work. They were on time and cleaned up each day. I had to have tree stumps removed to make a larger driveway and Tony and his men worked side by side with the stump grinding crew that I hired. Top quality work was performed and top quality materials were used to make my new driveway. Thank you Concrete Solutions.

They did an excellent job. Demolition was done quickly and thoroughly. They cleared out everything including large tree roots and sprinkler pipes, both of which ran under the driveway. They also removed the part of the landscape that needed to go in order to widen the driveway but they did not destroy what was staying. The concrete installation was handled perfectly. They cleaned up and removed ALL debris afterward. The workers were excellent, professional, skilled and dedicated to completing the job. There was also always an owner on hand. I would highly recommend them and would definitely use them for other concrete work.
