Does a nice job at a fair price - friendly

Bill was great, dont think he gets out much anymore, at least not to the southwest side of town. Office staff was mostly friendly, they made it convenient for me to pay over the phone when I was not home. I do think they are better suited for service not in the southwest part of the county.

My experience with Wendorf's Pool Service was excellent. I bought an older home that had been vacant for five years and the pool had been completely covered for many of these years. I called several companies for estimates and found Wendorf's to be the most reasonably priced and very knowledgeable about my pool and what needed to be done to make it swimable again. The owner, Bill Wendorf, gave me my initial estimate for cleaning up the pool and replacing the equipment. When we drained the pool we discovered that the pool needed refinishing (plus, I could not live with the pink waterline tile that had been installed decades before). Lee Wendorf, Bill's son, quickly got revised pricing to me and arranged for the work to be done. The work was completed quickly and professionally at a fair price. The Wendorf's were always available by phone to speak with me about any questions I had about the work being done to my pool. Because I added so much work to the original scope the Wendorf's even threw in a month of pool maintenance service for free. The Wendorf's are a delight to work with and provide quick and professional service.

This is a very unethical company. I originated service at their Ocoee store. Months later I went back to the store and told the same manager that I sold the house and no longer needed their service.The manager made a note of it and said she would handle it, no problem. Months later I was still being billed so I took the bills into the store. The same manager told me she remembered me discontinuing service and assured me she would take care of problem, not to worry. I continued to be billed so I contacted the phone number on the bill and was told I was speaking to the manager of the Winter Park store. He was very rude and told me I should have cancelled service through the Winter Park store. I replied, I never knew there was any other stores. He told me he didn't care what the Ocoee store manager told me. The Ocoee store has since closed. Leslie's pool supply has opened down the street and seems to be doing well.

Great Company when I started with them two years ago. I do not know what happened, but they have become totally incompetent and unprofessional. If they showed up at all, would spend about 3 minutes cleaning the pool. They used to do pool repairs - but during the past year have quit doing them, telling us to go elsewhere to get our pool light fixed, something they used to do. The problems started to become major 6- 8 months ago, when my wife and I saw sand and dirt on the bottom of our pool constantly. I checked the filter and found out that it wasn't cleaned or replaced in at least a year. This any many other issues kept coming up. They NEVER return calls, and their latest explanation was that "your problem wasn't that important for them to drop what they were doing"(3 days later). This was a well run family firm - I guess it went to the next generation who are incompetent, lazy, and unprofessional. Only returned my call when threatened with account termination Do NOT use them.

THEY WOULD NOT RETURN CALLS. THEY DIDN'T CALL WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO. WHEN WE WERE TRYING TO EXPLAIN THE PROBLEM TO THEM, THEY IGNORED US MOST OF THE TIME. HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT HE WAS DOING.

IT WAS VERY FRUSTRATING. THEY NEVER RETURNED OUR PHONE CALLS, AND THEY DID NOT MAKE MUCH OF AN EFFORT TO COMMUNICATE WITH US. ANY ATTEMPT WE MADE TO COMMUNICATE WITH THEM WAS AN EXERCISE IN FRUSTRATION. IT WAS A VERY UNSATISFYING EXPERIENCE FOR US.

The service technician comes to the house at the scheduled times and makes sure the pool is clean and all of the chemicals are correctly balanced. He also gives an inspection to be sure the equipment is running properly. They know their job and they do it very well.

THE WORKMAN ARRIVED ON TIME AND WAS CAREFUL WHEN PRESSURE WASHING TO NOT HIT FRENCH DOORS AND WINDOWS SURROUNDING POOL DECK. DUE TO CRACKS IN THE DECK, AFTER REPAIRING THEM HE DOUBLE COATED THE TEXTURE TO BE SURE THE REPAIRS WOULD NOT BE SEEN. THE PAINT WAS APPLIED NEATLY AND THE COLOR BAND AROUND THE DECK WAS LINED UP PERFECTLY.

WE SCHEDULED A WEEKLY SERVICE TO INCLUDE MAINTAINING THE POOL, CLEANING THE EQUIPMENT AND ADDING CHEMICALS. THE TECHNICIANS ARE ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND WILLING TO TAKE THE TIME TO ADDRESS ANY SPECIAL PROBLEMS.
