Second time I've used them. They do a great job and made sure everything was done right. Splash guards took a little longer than they thought, but they spent the time to get it done right.

Estimator said enclosure would be repaired and rescreened and doors fixed (new sweeps, screens, and locks). Crew showed up and threw old screens and splines in the pool causing $221 in cleaning and repairs which they paid. Crew said they could not repair aluminum joints because they did not have a screw driver and screws (I actually had to remove some of screws for them), One of the workers that showed up, left because he said he was too heavy to climb on the enclosure. Job took way to long, rescheduled after reschedule, not enough crews, weather, tools, not the right workers, etc. 2 day job took weeks to complete.

Got a written estimate from A-Screen for our pool enclosure on 12/30/2016. Scheduled pressure washing of the enclosure cage for 1/31/17 & the actual screen replacement for 2/3/17. received a call an hour & a half after they were suppose to show up that they would need to reschedule due to crew calling in sick. First available was 2/8. workers showed up, removed all screens to include leaves & debris & dropped it all into our pool. The filter quickly clogged up as did the vacuum hose. The 2 workers that they sent out were anything but quick & thorough. They didn't trim any of the top screens, corners in some of the sections were not caught, bug sweeps on both screen doors were installed too high be effective, the old pet door was not removed as required and they installed the handle on one of the screen doors so close to the edge that was latch plate couldn't be installed. My husband & I worked 5 hours trying to get our pool cleaned up 7 chemicals back in balance. Finally called a pool company to come out & take care of it. When I called A-Screen office (2/21 as we had been on vacation from 2/10 - 2/20) to complain I was told that they were sorry but this is the first time this has ever happened. I said that I didn't care & wanted reimbursed for the pool cleaning. Got a call back & was told that the owner & Production Manager would be out to inspect. That appointment was canceled & rescheduled "due to weather" and then on 2/24 only the Production Manager showed up. I showed him pictures of the pool, gave him the receipt for the pool service & told him what issues we had with the work. He said this job was not up to their quality standard & wanted to know how long we had to spend trying to clean the pool - 5 hrs. He offered to add $100 to the pool service bill plus send another crew out to take care of the issues either Monday or Tuesday (2/27 or 2/28). They didn't schedule again until 3/2. The original 2 workers showed up with a completed work order in hand listing everything that they were suppose to take care of (which I had to sign so they could begin the work). Then they asked us what they had to do. I pointed out the corners & was told "oh, that just how they are", When I told them I would let the Production Manager determine that they decided to actually go on the roof & check it out. They eventually fixed the corners. I then pointed out the 2x2 frame member & was told "we didn't fix it the first time because we don't have the tools & we still don't have the tools." My husband ended getting his electric screwdriver out & removing the section himself. Again, they left and the screens had not been trimmed, bug sweeps still allowed all critters to crawl in & screen door still had no latch plate. When I complained again, they scheduled another appointment for the following week. The workman showed up, fixed the handle on the door & said that he would have to send someone else out to trim that was lighter than he was. That appointment was scheduled for 3/17 between 10AM & 2PM. At 3:30pm no one had showed up or called. I called the office & was told they were running behind but would be there soon. We had to leave & they said that was fine. Today, 3/20 I received a call from A-Screen stating that the worker(s) that showed up on Friday couldn't trim the screen & they would have to reschedule for next week. It has now been 31 BUSINESS DAYS and our work hasn't been complete, However, A-Screen got paid for the entire job on 2/9, I told them that I wanted the work completed by tomorrow & also wanted the reimbursement check mailed out today. I was told that the Production Manager has now reneged on his statement to my husband & I that he was going to reimburse us for our time spent on the pool, supposedly we will receive a check tomorrow from the worker to reimburse us for the pool service. We have used this company in the past & didn't have any of these issues, but now it seems like they have a problem with scheduling as well as with employees ( doing what they are suppose to do, not having proper tools, not sending appropriate person to do the work). We WILL NOT be recommending or using this company again.

It took over a week to get someone to come out and do the work, but when they arrived they said more work was needed and that I should have a total re-screen of the top of the enclosure estimated. Another two weeks to get an estimate done. The estimate was around $1,000. Scheduled the work to occur a week or two later. The crew never showed up. No phone call. No communications. Nothing. Finally called the office and got some bored girl who offered no sympathy and rescheduled the repair another week or two later. Well that day it rained and they cancelled (understandable). Rescheduled again. They were supposed to be here this morning between 9 & 11. Going on 1 PM and again, no crew, no communications. Nothing. I call the office and only get a recording that says they will get back to me in a couple hours. I don't know if they will EVER show up. I've used this company for years but it seems they've recently gone to ****. They used to be in Oviedo, now they are over on University boulevard. I suspect the company ownership changed hands or was sold because it has turned into a disaster. Sorry to say it, but they've lost a long-time customer. Run.

They were kind of scary-looking. They did great work but they just weren't very communicative of what they were doing. They could have been a little bit more friendly.

Crew arrived on time and had the job done in short order. This is the second time I have used this company and I am very pleased with their work and pricing.

We had some bumps in scheduling and then rescheduling, so the process from initial inquiry to estimate to actual work took about 2 months. But everyone involved was just great, and when my downstairs neighbors' contractors interrupted my screen work, A Screen made a return trip with no charge to finish the job.

We are very happy with the work and price. No screen tears or loosening during Hurricane Matthew on west side of Orlando. Not too pleased that they rescheduled two times or that workers were smoking in my face when I answered the door and dropped ashes on my porch rug and left them behind. Subcontractor that did washing was very thorough and left frame very clean.

Great they were on time, very professional and reasonable. Would highly recommend them.

My girlfriend made a appointment for them to come out to her house. After being late almost a hour. They a group of what I can only call kids showed up. I was talking with one of them. And the other started to remove the panels didn't even get a OK on the price before they started remove them. It use to be a great company. But found out after I called the office, to speak with Kelly. That someone else owns the company, and the people I have trust for years. No longer work there. Just a bunch of kids...

Excellent. So well in fact that I had them back two other times to replace ripped screens and I will be having them back again in the future to replace more ripped screens. I live two houses down from a reserve area that must be full of raccoons and they are always trying to get through my screen area and into my pool, and they rip my screens! This provided does excellent work and always is available when I need them. They are reasonable and friendly.

I had an initial call back from them but have tried on two separate days to talk to them to get them to come and do an estimate. Left my name and call back number but they failed to contact me.

The work was supposed to be done in one day. The crew left early and did not call to inform us. Upon arriving home, we learned we would have open panels and hanging screen over mothers day weekend; this was less than desirable. When questioned, the crew lead said he had an old injury flair up and they could not continue. It was stated that a call was attempted, but no voice mail or missed call signals were present. While this was discouraging, ultimately the job was completed and looked great. It has been 8+ weeks now and still looks really good. We would use A Screen Repair again.

I called to get a quote over the phone on 6/8, but because I could not identify the exactly which screens needed to be done, they were sending out an estimator. He came out on 6/24 and was supposed to email me the estimate. I had to call to ask for it on 6/28 and even though their message says they will return your call in 2 hours, I had to call them back the next day in order to track the estimate down. They said they had to get ahold of him but he had been trying to send it to me. I received a phone call on 7/6 stating that they would not be able to get the estimate to me now until 7/11 due to the estimator having a family emergency. I would assume if you wanted the business you would find every way possible to get that estimate to me. I feel that this is unacceptable that this has been taking a month just to get an estimate. Other companies had it back to me with day even hours.

Needed entire pool cage rescreened. Scheduling estimate & getting the job done, took a couple of weeks. Crew of 2 showed up on scheduled day at 8:30am. It took the entire day to complete job. The crew did an outstanding job and were very friendly and accomidating. One crew member had 16 yrs experience & the other had 12 yrs experience in screening. Great to have such experienced installers. They cleaned up everything. Would recommend this company to others.

They first came out to give us an estimate on March 22, 2016. As of April 25 they had rescheduled us so many times I can't even keep up! It got to where we were wondering what would be the next excuse. They called to reschedule once again today and we finally said thanks but no thanks. Reasons they gave to keep putting us off... wrong frame color, wrong clips, clips came in wrong color, truck was down, can't find the clips and need to reorder. Anyway VERY unprofessional and would not recommend this experience to ANYONE.

Replaced the top pool screen enclosure panels following damage from a hail storm. After getting several estimates, A Screen Repair had the best price. The work was completed professionally and as scheduled. Great follow-up and responsive customer service even after the work was completed.

It went well. They showed up on time. They did all the work that was requested and they gave me a 1-year guarantee on the work that was done. Everything seemed to be in order and within the cost because we were given the estimates so we were pretty pleased. They cleaned up after themselves and they took all the excess and whatnot away from my lanai. They did the work I asked them to do and they did more than I requested them to do. They did the second door without me asking and without adding to my charge.

I have sent them to no less than 6 customers and they are all very satisfied with their work. When we call they are at peak times booked out a week or so, but well worth the wait. Very professional and when they say they will be there they are Johnny on the spot. Very dependable

Scheduling the service went smoothly. I called on a Tuesday and they came out on Friday morning the same week. Two technicians showed up. I walked the perimeter of the house with them and showed them the screens to be replaced and the one that I knew would need a new frame. I had asked before they started that if they noticed any other frames that needed to be replaced to let me know. They said all the other frames looked to be in good condition and they didn't anticipate needing to replace any other frames. I let them use my garage because it was raining off and on outside. Without asking, both technicians started to smoke in my garage which I did not appreciate! Regardless, they completed the work within about an hour and a half. I wasn't able to inspect the work when they were finished because it had started to rain pretty hard again. After they were gone and rain stopped, I inspected the work and was not impressed. None of the screens were installed with new pull tabs as I was told they would be. Several of the screens were somewhat warped in which if I had know I would have had them replace the frames. One of the screens had a tear in it from careless workmanship. -I didn't call around for different price quotes but I paid $26/ window for re-screen and $46/ window for re-frame. I'm guessing this is close to what everyone else is charging but for the price I expected more. Update 3/14/2016 - Since my original review above, A Screen Repair contacted me to resolve my dissatisfaction. They were very apologetic and assured me that they would correct the situation. They had a manager come out and inspect the work and later sent out a different repair crew to fix a frame and a torn screen. I'm glad they stand behind their work and corrected the situation.

Job went very well. the day before installation the structure washed pressure wash. For a little extra I had the deck washed as well. The installers came on time the next day.. Worked hard and well together, came back next day to finish. I am very happy with the results. Their office kept in contact with me to advise when everything would take place.
