It went very well. The molding he ordered ended up being more expensive than he originally thought but it did not change my price. I hired him for another job at my husbands office while since my home went so well and he did a great job there as well. It was much more complicated and it came out beautiful. I recommended him to two other people.

We couldn't be more pleased with the work August did for us. He was a pleasure to do business with from our very first interaction with him. He was always punctual, professional, and honest in dealing with us. He quoted us a price and stayed within that quote to the finish. We asked him to do some additional work on a tile wall and he was helpful with the design ideas and suggestions. August was responsive and took time to answer any questions we had while he was on the job or through email communciations. August and Donny worked hard and took a great deal of pride in all of their work. They are true professionals and we will surely call them for our next project. The work was completed within the timeframe promised and we will enjoy the finished projects for years to come. I highly recommend using Certified Renovators for any home improvement jobs.

Excellent job! Made a proper drain for the shower. Changed plumbing for tub and shower. Replaced Dur-rock. Installed tile and new shower and tub faucets. Really does the job right. Takes the time to get every detail right. It looks wonderful.

all in all i guess i am happy however i did not appreciate that after the job was completed the price for the job was changed! Not by too much and i would have given him the extra tip for the trouble in any case but would have preferred the promised price to be honored. Went a bit over the allocated days to be done but August seemed to work alone and only had occasional help on the site which caused him to work extended hours around other job commitments he had.

The scope of services were so numerous but August performed all beautifully. The coordination was going to be a nightmare for a contractor - we are a family of 3 with 2 dogs remaining in the home. Our residence is over 60 years old with numerous prior bastardized remodels performed by prior owners. Lord knows what surprises we were going to discover. Further we wanted to split the work into 3 phases so we could cash flow the work. Other contractors we interviewed were absurdly expensive, lacked the comprehensive skill set to tackle such a challenging job or lacked the motivation to tackle our and quot;Sow's Earand quot;. August was not daunted by the challenge. It was clear that he fully understood how to do the work and in fact was excited by the challenge. August's work, his professional demeanor, accuracy in job cost estimating were exceptional. He seamlessly coordinated our and quot;phasingand quot; with additional contracting work he was performing for other customers. At the end of work weeks we received detailed accounting of labor, materials and remaining budget balances with each billing statement. The job site was left clean and in safe conditions each day when he and his worker knocked off. Unlike other contractors I have used in the past he did not gouge us when we increased the scope of work when newly discovered items had to be addressed. We will definitely call on August again for any future contracting ; we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to others. August turned our and quot;Sow's Earand quot; into a beautiful and quot;Silk Purseand quot;.

Time line was longer than expected but the quality of work was superior. Since this work was completed, August has remained true to his promise to cover his work with a warranty. We had some minor issue that needed attention and he completed this without a problem. Looking for more things for him to remodel as he does such a great job and is a great guy.

August was very fair in his pricing and a great job

The free estimate lasted 2 hours, August(certified and quot;CEOand quot; of Certified Renovators) explained all details about our remodel/repair needs on a newly bought Orange City home. Being from Ohio I had lined up a contractor before coming down to do a final meetup with that contractor [not on Angie's list] BUT that contractor and quot;evaporatedand quot; when it came time to meet and do the work. He never returned calls, made appointments, and so, instead of finalizing with that contractor, I then had to do a new search to find a contractor on the spot. I turned to Angie's list and it made an amazing difference in this process. I was very concerned about finding an honest and reliable company to do this work. I could not have been more pleased. Several qualified [and highly reviewed on Angie's list ]contractors came and give estimates, and Certified was the easy choice. He sent me a detailed estimate 2 days and he worked our job in before other scheduled work. After he started the work, I had to return to Ohio and August used FaceTime video calls live -so I could see work as it progressed and the things he found in the work. Complications arose due to unknown termite damage. He offered alternatives and experienced insights. He is one person of the 2 man crew that did this job. Once begun he came EVERY DAY at 8 am. Besides FaceTime he phoned and emailed throughout the 7 day remodel/repair and updated me on costs up and down. He explained things in detail Wish I cd clone him to work on my house in Ohio. Even if u don't need work done, you shd meet August! What a great surprise he was! Many thanks to Angie's List for this referral service and help with finding other service people.

I wish I had more time to tell you how happy and satisfied we are with August and Certifed Restorations. They are the best, do what they say and say what they do. I would reccommened August to anyone and all. Use his services you won't be disappointed.

It went fantastic and he was the easiest to work with after talking with him on the phone and figuring out what needed to be done. He was very flexible and completed the job on time and on budget. His price was very low compared to others and his quality was excellent.

It looks great and I intend to ask Mr. Brinkman to refurbish the tile around the bathtub next. He is a very good worker and we are completely satisfied with his results.

Perfectly, he even cleaned up after himself. ABsolutely nothing inside of the house got dirty.

He showed up on time, did as agreed for amount agreed and did an excellent job. I am completely satisfied with the work.

August was very professional and personable. He explained his suggested repairs in detail and detailed the rationale for each. He appears to be very experienced and knowledgeable in both remodeling and air conditioning work. I would be very comfortable in having him perform this job.

August is a true professional, he is not only skilled but also practical in how he approaches a job. If you want something done that he does not feel is cost effective, he will give you alternatives and suggestions to lower the cost. I own multiple rental properties and have used August for years as my go-to guy for almost everything. If something is outside his expertise area (ex, garage doors), he will tell you upfront and suggest another supplier if he has had good experience. He is completely trustworthy, and he often brings a job in at a final cost that is below his original estimate. If you use this guy once, you will be calling him back for years.

We haven't had he work done yet but we will.

Installed 6" x 6" columns, 2" x 8" and 2" x 6" framing with cedar slats on top to create a shaded area over the cobblestone patio.

Great. Hauled all materials to the job site, including 3 tons of crushed concrete used for the base material. Leveled area, installed crushed concrete base, leveled base, installed cobblestone and backfilled voids between stones. Total square footage was 225.
