They didn't have to dig up all the concrete. The work they are doing is fabulous. Tony is the name of their manager on site. I can't remember his last name. The color and the links that we needed for the coping that goes around the pool were not available in the State of Florida so they had to be made and they probably will be completing the job tomorrow or Thursday. I know they are back tomorrow. That's when the coping is supposed to be finished. I like their customer service. Ever since I contacted Tony, he has been Johnny-on-the-spot. The guy has had to drive all over the State looking for things for me and he has been very willing to do it. He has just been unbelievably outstanding. He has responded to absolutely every phone call within 45 minutes from the word get go. When I initially wanted to meet with him, he was here within a matter of days. I put out a call to a number of companies that worked pavers. He was the first person to respond. He has been so professional. He really cares about what he is doing and he cares about the workers. He oversees absolutely every paver that is laid to make sure they do it right and he is there measuring them all. I am from Virginia and when I moved to Florida, it was so disappointing because down here the work ethic is different. I had a custom home built and it was an absolute disaster. Everything along the way was horrible. We were forced into closing when there were 44 items on the punch list. A wall was in the wrong place in our house. It was just a mess. When someone does a good job, I am absolutely thrilled and pleasantly surprised. Tony is wonderful. He actually even threw in some work for free. He is doing blocks outside of my pool deck like a pathway through the palm trees in the back and out near my hose. He noticed on his own that it needed to be done. I didn't even point it out and he said he would do it for free. He also noticed something wrong with our gutters. I have got this big expensive home and I could not believe the gutters never came with the home. We had someone several years ago supposedly fix the gutters and they didn't do a good job. It just made a mess and caused water to build up against the house. He told me he had friend who does that and he said he would pay the guy himself because we needed to get them done. I paid half of the service to Tony and I pay the other half upon completion. He has done such a good job that I told him that when all the work is finished I am actually going to have a party and invite my friends over for the reopening of the pool. I told him that I would like to invite him as well and he could pass his business cards out there. He was really thrilled about that. Update June 27, 2012: There was a misunderstanding when they did the pavers around the pool. He ordered the wrong copings to cover the concrete. He wanted to be paid for the product he ordered that was wrong. They didn't clean up the floor in the bathroom after they had left. They had someone come out to clean the pool since there was dust and stuff that got in with the pool deck. They cleaned it twice, but it was not back to where it was originally. We had to have someone else come back to clean the pool again. Because of the issue with the wrong copping not being long enough, it did not cover the pool ledge enough. The pavers had to set on our yard. I had to get some sod replaced and also they took some of the old pavers and put behind the pool. They took out the irrigation sprinkler heads and didn't move them. It looks great and the price was good, there was just the other things that went wrong.
