Marco and Paulo were the 2 gentlemen who came from MVP. They were on time. Friendly and courteous. Quality work, very clean and efficient. They worked for 3 hours and completed 5 out of 6 doors and trim including caulking. Called me when they finished. A job well done!

Routine repairs: scraping out loose material and filling cracks Looked good and ready to paint

The two men arrived with limited supplies. They discovered there was not enough supplies left in the van to start or finish the job from the night before. I had to leave my home to buy plaster and paint. They also used my tape and did not return it. (They also took the remainder of paint I bought with them) They were unprepared to work. It took me 35 minutes to go to the store and back. Plus, it costed me an additional $24.00 in supplies. I bought a "Big Deal" 4 hours of plastering and sheet rock installation for $169.00. It turned out to be 2 men for 2 hours of work. With me having to go get supplies, it was 2 men for 1hour 45 minutes. The biggest problem was the owner. He kept calling and interrupting them. I swear they spent at least 40 - 45 mins away from the job just talking to him. At times, one of the workers had a phone to his ear and trying to apply plaster to the bathroom ceiling with the the other hand. It took them 2 hours longer to finish at $120 an hour. I was literally with them using a fan and a hairdryer to dry the painted ceiling before plastering could begin. The bathroom ceiling was rushed. There were some grooves, impressions, little holes, uneven application, plaster on the window casing, floor and fixturres. They were already packed up when I called them back, They did not check their work. Then they rushed to fix it which did not make it much better. They were late to another job in South Boston and the owner still kept on calling them. It cost me $433.00. I would not hire MVP Painting on a bet. The two men that came were good. I would probably hire them if they were not associated with MVP Painting. They were definetly rushed by the owner. The owner's conduct was disruptive, obnoxious and controliing. He also called me to the phone several times to speak with him. I was not happy!

They were timely and responded relatively quickly when a follow-up was necessary.

It went really well. The workers were cordial and did a good job. I even asked if they could do the ceilings in the kitchen and after checking the schedule, they were able to add it on to the scope of work.

Overall I was satisfied with their work.

From start to finishe, dealing with this provider was an A+ experience. The email response time was quick. They were accomodating when I had to cancel and reschedule my appontment. The painter came 10 minutes early which, in my oppinion, is very professional on his part. The painter, Marco, was very kind, considerate, neat and clean. His workmanship was excellent. I have nothing negative to say about this experience. Would use them again.

Eduardo's team was punctual and professional. They did a great job and were very efficient.

It turned OK and they came very quickly. They were about a half hour late due to traffic and they did call. We did need to argue with them as they spent most of the time on the doors and they didn’t show up with any paint, just brushes. The owner allowed the workers to stay an extra 20 minutes to finish the work at no charge.

I contacted Eduardo about removing snow from my roof and treating ice dam on the roof when I heard from my neighbor and co-workers about their leaky roof. Eduard was quick in responding to my inquiries and set up an appointment. The cost was relatively high but I was happy just to get someone to come and do the job. Eduardo's team showed up on time, even called to inform us that they would be a little bit late. The team showed up and proceeded to remove snow from the roof and putting roof salt to treat ice dam. Ofter five hours, most of the roofs were snow free and I was happy to get it done before the recent warmup.

They were able to remove all the snow on our roof within 5 hours of work. This is not the first time I have hired them, and as usual, they did a great job and were very professional.

Sergio and Franco arrived promptly. They were professional and certainly went over and above what was needed. I would recommend MVP to anyone. I was completely prepared as I thought they were coming another day but they jumped right in and helped me. They were really incredible gentlemen. I am grateful to Angie's list for providing me with their services.

Eduardo and the painters he brought with him did a fantastic job. It was easy to communicate with him via texts for scheduling. They came on time, did the job, cleaned up nicely, and the price was very reasonable for the amount/quality of work completed. We will definitely be hiring them again as we continue working on the house.

After email communication with MVP the issue came up that this deal did not include the walls, due to this I had to cancel this deal and go with a different provider. MVP were accomodating up to this point.

Requesting a refund for this deal due to illness.

I ended up hiring them to do a much larger job.

They did a very good job, they were responsive and efficient

MVP did a great job. In two hours, 2 very nice, professional painters did all of the trim in the main part of our house (living room, kitchen, dining room, hallway, and the risers of our hardwood stairs) as well as the bedroom doors. The only snag was that, as they were getting ready to leave, I realized they had only done the outside (hallway-facing) sides of the doors, and I really wanted the insides (bedroom-facing) done as well (it looked a little weird to just have one side freshly painted and the other side dingy looking). It might have just been that they realized they wouldn't be able to do the insides in the amount of time they had, but I asked if we could pay for an extra hour to have them do the insides, they agreed, and they did a great job. They provided the paint as well. (When I scheduled the work, I was told it would be Benjamin Moore, which we prefer, and it was actually Sherwin-Williams but it came out fine.)

Two guys showed up right on time to work on an Angie's list deal for 4 hours of drywall repair. I showed them the damaged wall which I thought was a sizeable project for 4 hours and they asked me if there was anything else that needed repair, so I thought I had overestimated the amount of work for that wall and they would have time for other small projects. I showed them a couple of other smaller issues on another wall. They got to work right away and after 2 hours (2 guys x 2 hours = 4 hours worked), I got a call from the owner of the company telling me that the time was up and if I wanted them to stop. The work was not even close to being finished, so I said that I didn't want the wall left in that state and they should continue working. We agreed on a rate for the additional time to finish the wall repair and prime and paint the entire wall. When the two worked had arrived, they had told me how they were going to do the work, and specifically, that after they applied the joint compound, it would have to dry before they could sand it, so they would have to come back another day to complete the project. However, when agreeing on the rate for the additional time with the owner, he said the job had to be complete on that day and that if the workers left, they "would not come back." So the workers kept on working, but for the better part of two hours, they were using heat guns to make the joint compound dry, so they could move on to the next step. So in a way, I was paying them to watch paint dry :). I was not able to understand why they couldn't let the joint compound dry overnight naturally without wasting their skilled workers' time (and my money I was paying them to dry the compound.) Once the joint compound dried, they painted it with one coat and told me that coat would need to dry before putting another coat on and they would inspect the finished work at that point , so I expected they would contact me about coming back to put the second coat on, but I did not hear back from them. Since I was paying them by the hour, not a set amount for the project, I did not expect that I would have to pay the company for a half-hour lunch break the workers took. However, when the final cost was given to me by the owner he included the lunch break as paid work time even though I brought it to his attention. Overall, the workers did quality work, cleaned up the area well (with my own vacuum now full of construction dust) and were professional in their manner. I would like to have those workers do additional work on my house. Management/ownership leave something to be desired.

Sergio and his colleague were excellent workers. The plastering looked great, and they were very thorough, pleasant, and efficient. The special price was terrific--129 for four hours of two men working. I think the regular price is 60/hr per man, which seemed high, but I haven't been in the market for this sort of work for a long time so it might be market rate--I just don't know. If this is the standard rate, I would certainly hire this company again, and I would ask specifically for Sergio!

Well done. Beautiful work. MVP was on-time and did an excellent job. Not only did they patch the two big holes, they also volunteered to patch so small cracks in the hall, which they noticed on their own! I would highly recommend MVP to repair drywall. This was an Angie's List special, so the price was very good. I will definitely be using MVP Painting in the future.

MVP was great. They offered an Angie's List big deal about two weeks before Christmas. The deal was $249 for two painters for three hours. I wasn't sure if they would be able to fit me in before Christmas but they did. It was very easy to schedule a day that worked on both ends. I had no experience with this company prior but was very pleased with the job they did. Two guys showed up on time and got to work right away. They were both very pleasant. I hired MVP to paint two interior doors as well as paint some trim in our hallway. In the end, they sanded, primed and painted a much bigger area than I thought they'd be able to do. They finished all of the trim in the front hallway as well as a lot of trim and a door in our kitchen. We are very happy with the work and I will hire them again when we are ready for our next painting project.

Went very well. Although a hundred-year-old house with, as it turned out, horse hair and plaster wall covering, they knew exactly what to do intgecsituation and completely patched the offending area. I am grateful for a job well done.

MVP called to let me know the team would be arriving a few minutes late (very much appreciated, and they actually showed up nearly on-time). Team of two inspected area to be repaired and got to work very quickly. Work was completed (looks great) and the men cleaned up very thoroughly afterwards (actually washed the tile flooring - wow). They finished the project within 2 hours and were on their way. Definitely would recommend this company and will be using them again for future work.

I had a great experience with them. They were hired for one day job but they didn't finished. They were very professional. The owner was very kind. He tried even through the holidays to give his best to get someone to the house to paint under short notice. The people came and they did their work. However, it seems like they wouldn't have enough time to do the work but they didn't tell me that until the end. But the owner is actually going to honor another day for them to come back at the same price. When they were done they swept everything. They kept everything cleaned and left the house with no visible mark that they were even there.
