Wow where to start with this nightmare. They were hired to put in Floratem Seville Sod, they put in fungus ridden and damaged Floratem Augstine Sod. The wrong sod they did install, died within 2 and a half weeks and is completed dead now. Their Project Manager, Jeff Ellingsworth came out and told us in a recorded statement, they not only put the wrong (and cheaper sod) in, they put in fungused or "stressed" sod which is why it died. Jeff was quite helpful and said he would follow up with Rodney Johnson to make sure they would replace the sod and rectify the mistakes they made. Jeff was later let go from the company. After numerous calls over weeks which turned into months, we ended up filing a lawsuit against Orlandoscape. We came to learn through our lawyer we are in a long line of people who have apparently sued and won their suits against Orlandoscape. Rodney Johnson in particular has changed company names so please be aware of him and his various companies. They get sued, close the business and re-open another one. Even after getting sued, Mr. Johnson settled in court with us and agreed to replace the sod and install the correct sod. This settlement was reached the week before Thanksgiving in November 2011. It is now February 2, 2012 and they have yet to fulfill even this court ordered obligation. Rodney Johnson and Kim Mikitka (owners of the company) are to be avoided at all costs; they do a horrid job, take the money and run. If a court settlement does not bring this company to do the right thing, I'm not really sure what will.
