This was a great experience. Bill came out to provide an estimate for the job within one week of my first call. We were able to schedule the painting promptly after that. He provided a written estimate and discussed what would be covered in the job. On the day of the painting, he arrived on time and quickly got the job done. The painting is perfect. He moved furniture out of the way and put it back and did not leave any hint of a mess.

We had Bill Higgins paint the entire interior of our 1400 sf home (minus the closets and ceilings), as well as do some minor repairs to flooring and baseboards. I chose Bill over several other contractors because his price was right and he was able to start the job immediately (we were waiting to move in until the painting was complete). Bill was prompt, knowledgeable and courteous throughout this job, and was willing to provide expert advice and opinion on paint and color choices. He was very good about following up after providing the estimate, and was careful to make sure we were satisfied when the job was complete. The painting work was excellent, and was completed 1 day sooner than originally promised. As a favor, Bill even took care of masking some paint boo-boos by the previous residents (they had slopped on both the ceilings and the window frames - Bill managed to fix most of this). In summary, I am super-pleased with Bill Higgins' work, and won't hesitate to hire him again.

We did not choose him because he was almost $1,000 more than the guy we chose. He was very, very thorough and went through everything. He measured to within 1/2 inch of stuff. He was a very friendly, outgoing nice man. We just didn't go with him because of the price. He knew his job and everything that he needed to do. He was very responsive and professional. We were very happy with the person that we chose to do the work.

The entire job went off without a hitch. Mr. Higgins is an extremely pleasant man to work with, and he did everything he said he'd do in the time frame he quote. Notably, because I had been let down by another painting company and had other contractors coming in after the paint job was to be scheduled, Mr. Higgins jumped through hoops to meet my unreasonable time frame. In addition, I recommended him to a friend who just bought a house that needed wallpaper border removal, painting and crown molding installed. Mr. Higgins and his crack team again performed excellently. My friend was hugely pleased as well.

Bill was punctual and professional. The trim looked great when he completed his painting.

Bill came over when he said he would and completed the job in a timely manner. The workplace was left spotless and he was very tidy.

I was very satisfied with his performance. I have no reference on the price from anyone else. Several people on our block have used him and they have all been satisfied. I would recommend him to everyone in our area.
