I am most pleased with the outcome of the work by Bill Higgins Painting. My house, which has needed a new paint job for 4 years, is beautiful again. Bill and his assistants Orlando and Richard worked for 3 days to complete the job. They were professional, punctual, pleasant and paid attention to every detail.

It was problem free, convenient and non - intrusive to our lives. All that you could ask for!

Bill was professional and punctual. Returned my call for a quote within the hour, set appointment for quote and received quote within a couple of days. Had to book out a couple of weeks, but that wasn't a problem. When he and his crew came, they were on time, efficient, professional and did a great job. They were flexible (i changed my mind on what needed painting and on color choices). During the project, my daughter came down with pneumonia, so Bill asked if I wanted them to come back another time rather than stay and be in the way, which i was very appreciative of. Bill called the next week, asked how my daughter was doing and if we wanted them to come back to finish the job the next day. They came back spent two more days and completed the job. I asked them to change a few things...touch up a few places, redo a couple of spots, etc. and they were very willing to do what I asked. It looks great. We have additional rooms that need to be painted and i won't hesitate to have Bill and his crew back to do the work.

He was absolutely amazing and had an amazing crew, which is hard to find. Bill, the owner, is incredible. His crew was punctual and clean. You couldn't find a drop of paint or a missed spot anywhere. We didn't have any issues or problems with them. If they said they were going to be there at 7:30, they showed up at 7:29. They were just incredible. He had a four man crew and that is what he promised us. They finished in 2 and half days and that was priming, sealing, painting and backrolling. They were not the cheapest or the most expensive. The quality of the paint they used was excellent.

Bill and his crew showed up on the day and time we scheduled. They were very professional and courteous. We were also doing some other work in our house and Bill was willing to work with the other contractors. We even changed our minds on a paint color and Bill went out and bought new paint that evening so we could have a different color by the next day. We are more than happy with the work that was done and would recommend him to anyone looking for a painter.

We needed the entire second floor walls and trim painted ASAP to get the house ready to be listed. We called Bill because of his ratings on Angie's List. He responded promptly and professionally, and was able to work us in within a few days of the call, despite his busy schedule. He even sent one person to start immediately on one part of the project so we could show progress to our realtor. He showed up as scheduled, and called in advance to confirm when he was coming (which was early, 7:30 am). He was there right on time or earlier each day. The work was professionally done, and seems to be of first-rate quality. We called him back to do some additional work (not included in the original estimate) and he responded promptly and came right away. He did the work for exactly what he had estimated/bid before the work started. It was a pleasure to work with Bill and his crew. Highly recommended.

After getting 3 quotes and doing some research on here we decided to go with Bill and his crew. He was very responsive and was able to get in and complete the job prior to our out of town guests arriving for the holidays. We were told 4 to 5 days to paint all interior walls and baseboards which was on par with expectations and other quotes but Bill and his crew finished in 2 days! We had paint colors chosen from a specific brand and Bill purchased all the needed paints and even left us a half gallon of each for touch-ups. His crew was polite and respectful. They painted the rooms in the order that we told them which was helpful since it allowed me to continue working from home without interruption.

I bought a 3 br house in Florida and the bedrooms were ugly. Chocolate brown, pink and yellow, and two-toned blue. I checked Angie's List and found Bill. I called him on a Wednesday and he came the same afternoon. Emailed me his proposal same night. Took no money before starting the job. Set the job for Saturday morning. He and his helper came right on time and worked all day. They finished all three rooms.The bedrooms came out very well and I am pleased with the job. Only thing that had me scratching my head was that when they painted the closet, they only went up to the closet shelving, not to the ceiling. I was surprised by that. Thought his price was a little high but still acceptable. He is a very nice guy and does what he says he will.

I purchased a new home in November and wanted to have it completely repainted prior to move in. I had estimates done by 2 other companies, and Bill came in lower and was able to meet my timelines for completion. He was able to complete the entire house in about a day and a half. He was reassuring of the colors I chose (I debated them for some time). He was super professional and he work was outstanding. I would absolutely use him again and refer him for anyone needing painting done!

Very professional, timely and quality workmanship

I thought he was excellent. I had a commercial space painted, and wallpaper removed. They were on time, gave excellent communication, and the job was close to perfect. He was not the cheapest bid but I picked him anyway because of the thoroughness of his quote. I would use Bill again. As a side note I tried to save money by not having the doors done. At the end of the project Bill informed me that he thought the doors needed to be done to match all the other new paint. He did the doors at no charge.

Bill and his team did an excellent job. They previously had painted the entire interior of my home and did an excellent job, so I used them again to do the entire exterior. Bill gave me a fair price, and was flexible w/scheduling the job, as I was having a fence installed and trying to expedite getting the painting done prior to the fence installation. Bill and his wonderful team got the job done in one day!!! It was a beautiful, thorough job, perfect!! But judging from the quality job Bill did on the interior, I had every bit of confidence that the exterior would turn out perfect. Thank you to Bill and his team. They made me very happy, and I am proud of my house.

I was very happy with Bill and his team. Bill is very easy to work with and will work with you to customize the order to your needs and budget. everything was done exactly as quoted and completed on time. While I have no complaints with the work that was done I believe that these forums work best when complete honesty is utilized and since no project is perfect in every way I gave Bill and his crew a B on quality due to some minor cleanup that was needed after they left (overspray and drops on tile etc.). The price that I paid was fair and reasonable which in my book makes it a "good" price not an "excellent" price. Would I hire him again and pay the same amount? Absolutely!

Mr. Higgins and his staff were very professional. Any further work I have on any property, I will give to Mr. Higgins.

Bill was very professional when I met w/him. Worked up a reasonable estimate for me and requested no money up front from me until I was completely satisfied w/end job. I liked that. Other companies wanted money up front which I was not comfortable doing. Bill and his crew did an EXCELLENT job!!! PERFECT!!! I even did a walk through after job was complete and noted a couple of touch ups here and there. Bill was attentive and had these fixed immediately w/a positive attitude. I'm a bit of a perfectionist so I appreciated the attention to detail that Bill and his crew gave to my house. I am so pleased w/the job, that I am going to use his company to paint the exterior of the home. AWESOME JOB!!!

He has not done the work yet, but while talking to him I felt he was professional and someone that I could trust. He is someone that I would want to higher to do the work.

The walls turned out good. They did a good job. They showed up on time and didn’t leave any mess.

Bill was early for the estimate appointment. He was very friendly and appeared very knowledgeable. I thought his price was high and chose not to use his company for this reason.

All of the work and communication throughout was done very professionally and to our complete satisfaction. He and his assistant were very careful while working in the house and completed the job beautifully. We will absolutely use Bill again, and we completely endorse anyone needing a good painter for their home - regardless of the size of the job. Remember, our project started out very small, and grew mainly because of the confidence we developed after talking several times with Bill. Bill came to us when we were quite vulnerable, having such a problem with the first painter and being left with a house and french doors looking a mess. He could have taken advantage of the situation, perhaps, but instead he turned out to be just what we needed from thevery beginning.

Got 3 quotes. Bill's was selected for both his professionalism. Pricing from all three contractors were pretty similar. Quote was broken up by pieces so we could pick and choose (he did most of what he recommended at the end - but we did a couple of tasks that were very easy). There were minor changes orders after he started working, but I don't believe he charged for them. He was in/out within 3 days which was quicker than the week he originally estimated. He followed with a phone call to make sure everything was done well and to ask for an Angie's list recommendation - which I am more than willing to give. I would use him again and highly recommend him to others.

It went great! Bill and crew agreeably adjusted their Day 1 start time at the last minute when I had an early morning issue to deal with. The crew spoke English, looked and acted professionally, and were respectful of their surroundings. They did everything I asked, cleaned up after themselves, and were done with the job sooner than expected. They delivered professional results.

After receiving 3 proposals, Bill Higgins Painting was selected due to his professionalism and courtesy. His price was right between the other two. The contract was for painting the living room, dining room, kitchen family room, hall, laundry room and stairway walls to the second floor in 3 consecutive days. All trim was to be included plus all but one ceiling. Only 2 different colors were selected for the walls plus another for the alkyd (oil based) trim. Bill and his crew of 2 others (Wayne and Bobby) arrived all 3 morniings promptly at 7:30am and proceeded quickly into the routine of the day. Each have been will Bill for a number of years and are on his payroll, not contract workers that had been picked up for the job. During the painting process, I changed the trim color after 4 windows had been painted. I new this would be an extra but I just didn't like my original selection. In addition, I asked Bill to paint a ceiling which my wife later told me she told Bill to exclude from the contract as well as the area below the chair rail in the dining room. She didn't care for the color I told Bill to paint below the chair rail, preferring the original. I then asked Bill to go back and repaint that area with the original paint I had stored. When it came time to settle up at the end of the job, I was prepared for some additional costs. Bill just said, "Oh, I think we are just about where we ought to be on the original estimate". What a gentleman! After arriving home from work on the day the work had been completed, my wife discovered that the paint in the living room was the wrong color... close but wrong, nevertheless. We founf that the paint supplier had transposed the last digit of the mix number from an 8 to a 5 (not being able to read his own handwriting) and gave us the wrone paint. Bill didn't catch it, I didn't catch it but my wife'f eagle color-eye did catch it. A few days later Bill and Javier cheerfully repainted the living room, again at no additional cost, saying ony that these things happen (apparantly not the first time... I would have been sick, personally). All my future painting will be done by Bill Higgins Painting.

Initially I requested a quote for the entire interior to be done but later decided to do the "have to" rooms first and do the rest later. Mr. Higgins was very pleasant and accomodated my request for a much smaller (initial) job. worked with my schedule. Excellent quality of work. When we get ready to do the rest of the interior I'll be calling him to do the job.

We have now had Bill paint the entire interior and exterior of our home (see my report from August on the interior painting). For the exterior painting, Bill did some repairs to the stucco, sealed windows and masonry, sanded and primed some rust metal window casings, and provided advice on color. He really is a man of many skills! When the work was nearly complete, Bill walked around the house with me and discussed repair projects that might arise in the future and made minor touch-ups as necessary. He was prompt and professional and stayed in contact while the job was in progress. As with the interior job, we are very pleased with his work, and will not hesitate to use his services again.
