Bill was a pleasure to deal from initial phone call through estimate and job completion. He and his team did an outstanding job. They thoroughly masked the house, painted, and left everything clean and neat. Since then two of my neighbors have used his services and all of us are thoroughly pleased.

Upon purchasing our house, we needed several rooms painted. Our realtor recommended Bill Higgins. When we first contacted him, he was incredibly professional. He provided a very reasonable estimate, obtained the custom colors that we wanted, and did the work incredibly fast. he even worked early on a saturday morning to finish in time for us to be able to move in the following day! i would recommend and use Bill Higgins again without reservation or hesitation.

Bill met me at my apartment at the date and time I was moving in. I gave him a bucket of paint that I had selected. I chose to provide the paint but I asked him to recommend a finish. I left the apartment for several hours and when I returned it had transformed into a beautiful home. I could not be more grateful for him making my first apartment in a new state feel so tranquil.

Mr. Higgins was very professional and punctual. Sent a written estimate via email. I used another painter who charged about $400 less.

Bill came early in the morning with his crew, as scheduled. They got right to work and finished the next day. Their job was very professional and the men were very friendly and polite and the price was very fair. (I used to paint houses in my younger years!) We really enjoyed their work AND their personal interactions. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs painting.

Bill Higgins came to house for an estimate. He was very professional and polite. We set a date for painting. A few days before the paint job I phoned Mr. Higgins to change times of appointment due to unexpected issues. There seemed to be no problems about the time change and all was set. On the date of painting, Mr. Higgins arrived with at least 6 men to work. That seemed fine at the time until I realized that they were to finish all in one day. I felt that they did such a rush paint job and I'm still bumping into spots where they missed or just neglected to paint all together.

Called Bill Higgins in mid-December 2012 and left a message asking for an estimate. I never received a call back.

From the quote to the prep to the final coat, everything was performed professionally and with excellent customer service. The final product looks great!

He was tremendous to work with. His bid was excellent. The only reason that I chose someone else is because I needed to have popcorn ceilings taken down, and he does not do that. Otherwise he seemed wonderful to work with.

Bill was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. After leaving a voice message late on a week day, Bill called me the very next day, but I was unable to answer. So he left a message. I wasn't able to return Bill's call until the following Sunday. He was willing to drive over within an hour of the phone call, late on Sunday, to visit my home and provide an estimate with no charge. Bill provided a detailed estimate within a day or two. Bill arrived on-time and first thing in the morning on the day of service. He required no down-payment to start. He finished the job in one day, working late into the evening. Bill applied two coats to all areas. He cut in the paint perfectly along all the molding (floor, windows, doors, and cabinets) and ceiling. He even pulled out the fridge and stove to paint behind them. Because some areas required more coats than expected, Bill was afraid of running out. So he took the initiative to purchase an additional gallon of paint (beyond what was stated in the estimate) earlier in the day to avoid running out after the paint shop closed. After not needing it, Bill was willing to keep the extra paint and incur the cost, but we decided to pay for and keep the extra gallon. The initial work did not include the power bath and niche. We called mid-day to see if Bill could fit in this additional work. He accepted with no complaint or reservation - a true professional. We couldn't be more happy, and we definitely plan to use Bill for the remainder of our painting needs.

I called Mr Higgins several weeks ago inquiring about painting services for my brand new home. I had a 2200sf two story home that needed paint in every room. He not only talked me through the process but also answered all my questions. He was extremely prompt with an estimate once I gave him the floor plans and desired paint options and despite my many emails and phone calls he was polite and informative every time. I also had to change the date and times for not only our initial meeting but also the start date due to a late close. I was also worried about a timeline for our movers and he assured me he would bring enough people to get it done in two days. Instead he finished in one and everything was BEAUTIFUL! At our meeting he helped me make decisions about colors using his many years of expertise. The day off he also assisted me to make another change on a paint color with no problem! He and his team were well mannered, very clean and did a wonderful job painting. I would highly recommend him.

I would not recommend him. I felt the work was a little sloppy. The painting was a little unprofessional and messy. They did not really clean up after themselves.

We purchased a large home and was looking to get the interior painted prior to moving in. We were moving from Michigan and was under a serious time crunch. Bill was able to meet with us on the day of closing and did a complete walk through with us and did everything he could to accommodate us. We returned to Michigan with confidence that we choose the right company. Prior to starting he called to confirm exactly what we wanted and we returned to find exactly what we asked for. The work done by his crew was incredible! There was absolutely no mess left behind for us to clean and again his work was immaculate. I would recommend him to anyone needing a painter.

I could not be more pleased. I chose Bill Higgins because he could do the job in one day (and, in fact, it took only 3 1/2 hours because his crew of 2 were very efficient and wasted no time at all). The other bid I got was for 2 days for this. Everyone was very pleasant, courteous and helpful. Time and attitude were critical in my choice of contractor and ratings. Everyone showed up at the promised time. The crew worked steadily, did not play music, did not take breaks, did not smoke (so there were no cigarette butts strewn about outside--a real plus). Clean up was very good and my walls look great. I could not get the TV back on after they moved the entertainment center to paint behind it, and Bill fixed that (above and beyond the contracted responsibilities) before he considered the job complete

This company is stellar. I have recommended them to friends and co-workers and I strongly recommend them to you. This company always honors its commitments and schedules. They do very high quality work. The price is reasonable. They always provide a little more than expected. I am so impressed with Bill and his entire that I now consider them friends.

The men Bill sent to perform the services were very professional in every aspect. They arrived and went right to work. They didn't slow down except for lunch and a water break. (It was very warm the day they painted.) The prep had been quite well and saved clean up time. After they completed, they wanted me to walk the area and check for any proplem areas. I have never had a group of people do work for me that were this professional and pleasant. I will hire Bill Higgins painting for all my painting needs.

Bill sent a very professional painter to perform some interior painting. He had to prep and paint a bathroom, hallway, window area, and kitchen area. He went right to work and stayed at it without stopping. He was very careful while painting and when he finished an area, he asked for me to check it for completeness. I have had Bill do work previously and will continue to use his company for all my painting needs.

I am VERY happy with the great paint job from Bill and his guys. The paint Bill recommended, in addition to the quality of work, resulted in a fantastic job. The other quotes I received were not only higher, but Bill was the only one who was confident he could have it all painted in one day. His guys all showed up on time and went right to work.The group has been together for a while, and it shows. They work fast and efficient. I had problems with the crew or work they performed. All of my requests were respected and fulfilled. Bill is an honest businessman, who takes pride in his craft. He's a pleasure to be around and to work with. I will definitely be using Bill for my future painting needs...

The bad result from this experience is definitely split in responsibility: we were in the middle of a major renovation, and I simply didn't pay enough attention to the painters, nor what they were (and were not) doing. Also after seeing the completed job, I should have followed up with Bill, and didn't. My fail. That said, the job done was still lousy, and I will write it up as such. After the cabinets went in, and the lights were all moved, I needed to shoe-horn in some painting in the kitchen, laundry and hallway of our home, in addition to the ceiling in our living room. Not a huge job, but lots of edging, and an important step. Bill impressed on his coming out to our home, and was significantly less than the other 2 quotes. This being modern American business, the 2 painters who arrived were actually sub-contractors. I imagine if Bill was on-site the job would have gone as planned, but even after specifying the extent of the job, corners were cut all along the process. The living room ceiling was rollered but the edges were not re-cut. When I pointed this out, the painter asked if I could see the difference. "That's not the point," garnered no further work in that room. Obvious patches in the drywall and ceiling were painted, but other sections were missed entirely, indicating that this was just a hit-and-miss effort at painting the rooms I had contracted. I had to point out even some of the patches which they had managed to miss. I still have sections of the laundry room which I will now need to paint myself. This painting job was scheduled to complete before the flooring went in, so no painters are coming back into the house now. I am disappointed with the quality and extent of this job, and will have to get out the paint myself and try to touch-up all the areas I had paid a professional to do at a much more convenient step in this process. Take this review for what it's worth to you. If you stand over the painters, perhaps you will have better results than I did.

Bill Higgins arrived on site about 7:30am . he's very pleasant & very neat with his equipment. He informed me instead of 2 days he was bringing in his whole crew & would have the job done that day. which was a surprise. His guys arrive about 10 mins later & he introduced them all to me as he gave them instructions as to what was to be done. I had my 2yr nephew who was still sleeping upstairs so not to wake him they started with the downstairs prepping. fixing & cutting in. They moved so smoothly as a team all I could do was sit and watch. Before I knew it the color was going up & the rooms were warming up. Everyone of these men were polite, helpful & they check each other to make sure they didn't miss a spot. Even helped me keep Max out the wet paint. By 2pm the whole house was done upstairs & down. He was kind enough to leave me some paint to touch up after the movers come. If I have need for a painter or know someone who does I will surely recommend & will pass Bill Higgins Painters Inc on. they did an outstanding job & was worth every cent. Bill visited us to see the extent of the job and to give us his estimate. He also advised us on the advantages and disadvantages of flat or eggshell paint. He submitted a bid within two days. Bill called the day before the job to confirm paint colors. He and his team of three painters arrived at our house promptly at 7:30 a.m. and set to work patching holes made by the previous owner. One of the painters started edging the walls, while some of them moved furniture away from the walls. The first coat in the first room was being applied by 9:00 a.m. The team moved very efficiently and did not waste any time. They took 30 minutes for lunch and then were back at work. They cleaned up everything at the end of the first day. I work from home and the only time my work was disrupted was when I had to move to the dining room from the study so that the painter could paint the room. On the second day, a team of four painters arrived and set to work promptly at 7:30 a.m. again. After all of the walls were painted, they went over all of their work and applied another coat or touch up if needed. They even helped my husband mount a heavy mirror on the wall. Bill came over that evening to check the work and make sure that we were satisfied. We were absolutely amazed that we had all of our painting down in two days. There were no drips, window treatments were replaced, all holes were patched, and our furnishings were treated very well. We heartily recommend Bill and his team of painters for anyone who is looking for a quality paint job at a reasonable cost..

Bill Higgins service from start to finish was excellent! He returned my original call for service promptly, came onsite the next day to review the job, had a quote for service to me within less than 24 hours. Scheduling the service was equally as easy. The painter arrived on time and was extremely competent. Very detailed.

Bill personally came out, spoke with my wife, listened to everything she wanted done, and provided an estimate in 24 hours. Upon acceptance of his bid, which was more complete than others and a better value, the job was promptly scheduled. His crew showed up on time, worked professionally, ans exceeded every one of our expectations. Our house is beautiful. Our neighbors stop by just to tell us how great our house looks.We have recommended him to several people, and will continue to do so. My in-laws are having him paint their house. If you knew my mother in law, you would know what a compliment that is.
