It went wonderful. One man came out the first day to Kilz the walls and repair the damage. He was very polite, worked quietly and fixed it very nicely. The second day two men came out to do the painting. They were quiet, efficient and cleaned up after themselves. Bill came out to inspect everything and made sure that I was happy with the job before releasing the men to go home. I am very satisfied with the job, with the company and plan to hire them again in the future to do other jobs.

Bill and his crew arrived on time and were able to finish earlier. They were all very polite and attentive with our things. The job performed was good and with no accidents. The price quoted for the job was fair. We are pleased with the result.

This is a mixed review ? the guys that painted our house were great. They were courteous and professional and we were very pleased. We were also mostly pleased with the overall quality of their work, attention to detail, and respect for our surrounding property. So, why not an ?A?? Well, when I first met with Bill, I told him that I was hesitant to let any of the companies I had interviewed paint our front door. We live in a new house and I hate it when I see a front door that looks like paint was just slopped on and you can see drips, layers of brushstrokes, etc. Our front door looked perfect and I didn?t want a poorly applied layer of paint that would forever haunt us. Bill said it wouldn?t be a problem and immediately recommended spraying the door and said they would take care of it. So, you can imagine my dismay when I came out to see they had just finished brushing the front door. Bill forgot to tell his people to spray it. They assured me they could sand and spray it and we?d never know the difference. They sanded it, sprayed it, and it was still wet when they left. The next day it didn?t look great at all. You could see some patches where there were spray marks were, but I decided to live with it. A little over a month later, we realized the paint had either bubbled up or there was overspray or pooling that caused bumpiness in the grooves, especially lower on the door. It really looks bad. Between that and the patchy spray spots, I decided to call Bill. I waited until just after the holidays to call, and he said he?d come by during the next couple of weeks and take a look at it. I never heard from him again. If you are the type to pester a contractor, you may be fine hiring this company. I don?t work that way. A professional company should follow up without my having to keep calling. I met with several contractors and he was not the cheapest ? in fact, quite the opposite. But I was intent on having a professional paint job. Although the house itself looks great, the front door does not. I am very disappointed. He failed to properly communicate the scope of the work to his crew, and failed to follow up on a courteous phone call from a customer. At this point, I?m not even convinced the right paint was used for a metal door because it shouldn?t look this way and we?re not the only ones who?ve noticed it. Now we will have to find someone to do the job right, or we?ll make the trip to Sherwin Williams to get the right paint and my husband will have to spend the day sanding and painting it himself. Either way, it is not something we should have to do when we supposedly hired professionals, and paid the highest price to have the work done well. Unless others who have used this service provider, I cannot credit them as being a top contractor based on this experience. However, I still believe they offer results that are above some work that I?ve seen. Therefore, I can still honestly recommend them for exterior work, but with the caveat that you must be attentive and possibly be willing to make a nuisance of yourself to have the job done right. As for whether or not we would use them again, I wish Angie?s list had a ?maybe? button, because we?re still on the fence on that.

Bill was extremely professional. He came with his crew at 8am promptly and painted my entire house by 3pm that afternoon. He could not have been more polite. I would definately use him again.

As we only got an estimate we have no work to testify to but his service is excellent.

BILL WAS VERY ACCOMODATING WHEN MY WIFE DECIDED TO CHANGE THE PAINT COLOR IN THE LIVING ROOM AREA EVEN THOUGH, AT THIS POINT IN TIME, HE HAD COMPLETED PAINTING A SMALL PORTION OF THE LIVING ROOM AREA AND THE WET BAR IN THE ORIGINAL COLOR. BILL SAW NO PROBLEM IN COMPLYING WITH MY WIFE'S WISHES. IN FACT, HE REPAINTED THOSE AREAS AT NO EXTRA COST TO US, BILL HAD THREE PAINTERS ON OUR JOB. ALL VERY PROFESSIONAL. BILL HIGGINS PAINTING WAS OUR FIRST EXPERIENCE WITH USING AN ANGIES LISTED CONTRACTOR AND WE ENDED UP VERY HAPPY WITH OUR CHOICE,

The process was very smooth. Bill is a pleasant man to work with and was very easy to talk to about what I wanted to do in the house. I called Bill to schedule an estimate and he was prompt with his estimate. I was in a slight time crunch as I waited till the last minute to begin the work since I had other remodeling work going on in the house in preparation for a housewarming party. Bill was able to accomodate the timeline that I was looking to have the work completed in. His crew showed up on-time and were quick to get started. I was very impressed with the efforts they went to protect my property from getting paint on it. After the first day, I noticed one of the colors I picked was a lot darker then I anticipated (it matched the color card, so I must have missed it). Bill was quick to offer some suggestions for things we could do. I ended up using that color in my dogs room instead and bringing another color in the living room around throughout the first floor. The quality of work was great and was a pleasure to work with Bill and his team. I had a ton of complements at the housewarming party and recommended Bill to everyone that asked.

Our experience could not have been better!

Our experience with Mr. Higgins was excellent. He was able to come in for a free estimate the day after my first phone call. He arrived on time, took his time to answer questions and discuss what we wanted done on our new home. He emailed us an estimate within a day of how much everything would cost. We also needed some drywall work done and he was able to refer us to someone who did an excellent job at a good price prior to the painting work. Mr. Higgins also came by prior to beginning the work to verify our color selections and offer design suggestions which turned out to our benefit. The work was started and completed when promised with no issues. His work crew were friendly, considerate and clean. Everything went really well. We will definitely call him when we are ready to paint the exterior of the home.

When I called we set up appointment He came right on time told me how much it would cost. took 3 days always right on time I am very glad and very happy with the job. Will call him again for my next paint job.

The job went very well. We are pleased with the results. Bill was very responsive to my initial request for an estimate, even arriving 30 minutes early for the estimate meeting! The estimate was quick (received a formal response that same evening) and detailed. We originally chose another provider mostly due to price but issues arose and we called Bill back. He booked our job within 2 weeks of us calling him and it was done in 2 days. The team moved furniture and removed items from the wall to get to the areas they needed to paint. Bill brought in the paint to our requested color and helped us choose the shade of white for our trim and doors. It was very easy to have him handle everything from start to finish. We were nervous about leaving people in our house all day but we felt comfortable with Bill and had no issues with items broken or missing. He called us every day upon leaving to fill us in on the progress, and just as a courtesy to tell us he was out of our house for the day! We plan to use Bill for our exterior painting later in the year.

Punctual for the estimate appointment. All subsequent work was fairly priced and done very professionally and on time with outstanding results. Bill Higgins stands by his work and assures customer satisfaction.

Based off the reviews on Angie's List, I contacted Bill to schedule a date & time for someone to give me a quote on painting one of my vacant rental properties. I thought we were confirmed for Saturday between 12:30 - 1:00PM. No one showed up. I called them a little after 1:00 just in case someone forgot or was running late. Still, no one returned my call.

Phil is very personable, nice, and down to earth. He is very polite and you don't feel like you are getting take advantage of. The work met my expectations great.

The quality is good and the price is okay. The only thing I would comment on is that after painting, they cleaned up their brush in my backyard.

Mr. Higgins provided a detailed interior painting estimate.

They did an absolutely fabulous job. They did an excellent, excellent job. They were clean, they were to the point, they got the materials that they needed. They also filled in some cracks in the wall that needed to be filled in and repainted and got the color to match the house. We live in a retirement village that is guarded and gated and they have certain laws and certain rules of what paints you can use. The doors look great, we get a lot of comments on them. The shutters look great. We are very happy. They were kind, they were to the point, they were quick, they were clean. They explained what was happening and what I might have to do later, like put a sealer around the door. That was already there but they had to take it out to do the painting and they told me how to put it in. They explained everything to the T. They were good. I would rather pay a little more and know that it was done right by a reputable company than pay less and have to do it myself or have to do it again. We told them when we wanted it done by and they had it done. It rained in between and had to move it back a day and they were there. They were upfront. They told you what they could do and what they couldn't do and what should be done. We had another problem with the house and they said, well before we can do such and such, you will have to do such and such.

Bill Higgins were prompt at giving me a quote and they were very professional, there was nothing negative about them and I just decided to go with another company. Their price was reasonable. They followed up with a couple of emails thereafter inquiring if there was anything else that I required.

Excellent job. From the estimate to the purchasing of paint supplies to the final job, this company proved to me that they deserve all the business that they get from Angie's List.

When Bill Higgins arrived to provide a quote, we knew immediately he is very much a people person. What a joy to work with. His quote was right on the mark, and told us it would take no more than two days. Upon arrival the first day at 7:30 a.m., Bill once again went over the work we wanted done. Shortly after two painters Rich and Ernie ( Father and son) begin taping areas not to be painted. The interior painting took two days, and the quality of workmanship and professionalism was beyond my expectations. When we had four walls in one room painted with the accent color, we decided we didn't like it, and asked that two of the walls be repainted with just the primary color. Their response was "no problem" and completed the job in short order. They went about their business in such a quiet manner that at times we didn't realize Rich and Ernie were there. Bill followed up the next day and did a walk thru with me, and we found no need to touch up any areas. These folks are going to paint the outside of my house in 2014!!!!!

Quality work performed by very nice people!

I just bought a house and was very proactive and excited about painting. As I was stepping in spots of spilled paint, drips galore... I discovered painting was the worst. I immediately got on Angie's List for painters. I already had all the paint, I just needed the professionals to do the work. I called two services, Bill Higgins was the second person I found on AL and I left him a voicemail with my horror paint story. He called me back later on, and was VERY professional and sincere. I told him I received a quote for my 4 bedrooms and gave him the rough dimensions and the quote I received. He advised the quote I received was very good and that his quote would be about $150 higher. So he said I received a good deal, but hoped that later on if I needed painting done he could be the one to give the better quote in the future. I was very impressed with how Bill responded, and I would be more than happy to call him again in the future.

I got 3 quotes from different painting contractors and went with Bill because I felt comfortable with his ability to complete the work with the least headaches. Before selecting Bill, I asked him tons of questions about nature of work, pricing and different grades of paint available through email (email is my favored way of communication). He explained the process step by step and answered all of my questions patiently :-) The whole process pretty much happened the way he explained it. First came the pressure washing, then his painting crew came in and painted the exterior walls, faschia and soffit and lastly the detail guy painted the trims on the final day. It only took about 3-4 days for the entire project (my house is pretty big) and they left the place clean. Bill went over and above his work by trimming some of my overgrown bushes himself so his crew can paint properly. He also found a way to darken my door trim when I told him that I didn't like how the color I first chose came out. This was a good experience. My house looks fantastic !
