They were excellent..not only was the installation quick and concise but they went above and beyond with all of my questions and concerns. We were in a house that needed a brand new A/C and vetted everyone under the sun and with so many high recommendations we went with Armstrong and they exceeded our expectations.

I needed service and the office mentioned all techs where backed up due to the extrem weather weather we have been experience. Instead of Armstrong leaving me with out air the manager Pedro Genao came out and got me up and running. Great service thank you PEDRO.

In addition to a smooth and seemless air conditioning unit installation, we had excellent service prior to that with Lenny. We always requested him bc he was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful. He was the first one to actually go up into our attic and diagnose and fix problems we were having. Tom was a great communicator as well as kind and professional and had a new unit installed and working great within two days of our meeting. I left for work and came home to a brand new unit installed in one day. They set up the Ecobee 4 for us, and I only had to follow a few easy steps to connect the unit to my phone. Everyone I met and worked with was great. So happy with this company.

I only use Armstrong Air for my personal home and rental. Ive had numerous service calls and a total replacement over the years. They provide honest recommendations, great customer service and are available 24 hrs. The office staff communicates very well and the service techs, particularly Lenny, are diligent and care about the customer.

This is the second time we hired Tom and his crew at Armstrong to do our air conditioner and I would choose his over and over again. They do amazing work they are clean respectful had great timing! You can’t go wrong with choosing Armstrong! Lol And as Tom always say “Stay Cool” 😎

Excellent company starting with the sales person Tom Hyatt who recommended a less costly solution to cooling bedrooms at the end of the duct routes. I originally wanted a split a/c units. The Trane unit is spectacular. It pulls so much humidity out of the space that you can set the temperature higher and it feels like a cooler temperature. The additional ducts to the bedrooms and addition of a return has solved the problem of these rooms being too warm at night. Armstrong will now be my air conditioning company for all future maintenance and installation work.

This company is incredible. I originally hired Armstrong last year after reading a few reviews here on Angie's List. Ultimately, we purchased a mini-split air conditioning system which unfortunately went out on us a week ago. We called Armstrong who promptly sent a technician to diagnose the issue. After calling the manufacturer, Armstrong was informed the part was on back order and could take several weeks to arrive. Rather than making us wait for the part to arrive as 99.9% of other A/C companies would have done, the general manager (Tom Hyatt) said he would not allow a manufacturer to inconvenience one of his customers. As such, he had his team come out the next day to install a BRAND NEW UNIT that was an UPGRADE to our system! I can honestly say that I have never worked with a company who takes customer satisfaction as seriously as Armstrong Air and Heating. If you are in the market for a system, or need to have yours serviced, there is simply no better company to call. I will be a customer for life, and I hope you will too!

Recently, our house was hit by lightning, which blew out our AC unit. After dealing with insurance, I saw a TV commercial on Saturday evening for Armstrong Air & Heat and filled out a form on their website. Within 20 minutes, I received a call from Tom Hyatt, Director of Residential Sales. Tom sent me a very detailed quote on Sunday, and then immediately scheduled us for installation on Tuesday morning. When his crew arrived, they were very professional, courteous and friendly. They were very thorough and explained every step that they were going to make and the timeline for the installation. Tom came by as well to check in with me, and then even called me later that night to confirm that the unit was cooling down our house. Tom even completed the registration form for the new unit. From start to finish, they showed how important it was that we were satisfied. Some of the key differences that I think really made them stand out in my mind: 1. Communication. From the moment I asked for a quote until 2 weeks after the install, Tom Hyatt and the team stayed in constant contact to ensure we were happy and had all of our questions answered. 2. Scheduling. A few days prior to scheduling, I received an email introducing our installers, complete with pictures of each person and their contact information. That was an extra touch I didn't expect 3. Install/Day-off. They were on time and completed the project in the estimated time. There were a few minor issues because our other unit was so old. They just took care of it with no added cost. When the work was done, we had a full introduction and tour of the new air handler and condenser 4. Follow-up. Tom called a couple of times to check in. We thought we had an issue with the Nest thermostat and they sent someone immediately. I've used other "popular" HVAC companies and these guys beat them all. Thanks for the great work.

I honestly can't say how easy and great it was working Armstrong Air and Heating. Tom called me about 30 seconds after I sent the Angie's List inquiry, and then showed up at our house for an appointment a couple hours later. He knew we needed a new AC ASAP and was able to get us a quote and an installation date within a couple of days. He was always there for every question and replies were extremely prompt. The install team was very professional and very nice. They had the whole system installed in one day. The installation of the air handler required some extra trim work in our AC cabinet and they had someone out there the next day to finish up the detail work with no extra charge. The whole process was easy and I really felt well taken care of. A+ for Tom and his crew.

We recently bought a home in Winter Garden. We knew when we bought it that the Central AC/Heating unit was 12 years old and they only last an average of 12-15 years. The home we bought had been rented by the original owner continuously since they purchased it. When we moved in, my husband went to change the filter and we couldn't believe it; it looked like it hadn't been changed in a year. Also, we had been advised prior to buying it that the unit had froze at one point and there was a leak, but it was fixed. In any case, the unit did work well at first then we watched slowly as our electric bill went up steadily increased each month and we realized that the AC was running continuously. Our neighbor recommended Armstrong and said that his experiences with them were always positive. We called and a technician came first thing the next day. The unit had froze again. The technician was very professional and explained everything to us. He told us, given the age of the unit, it would really not be cost effective to try to fix it and said that the last time it froze and was fixed he guessed it was really a band aid since the house was up for sale (Armstrong had not serviced it). It all mad sense and we could tell that the unit had probably not been serviced on any type of a regular basis and it was 12 years old so we went ahead and asked them to install a new unit. The Director of Sales and Marketing, Tom Hyatt came to see us the next day to ensure that we did need a new unit and went over all the costs. Even though they were really booked, Tom made sure that they got to us within two days. The installers were very professional and friendly and went over everything with us after it was installed. The warranty is great and we even received two free maintenance visits in the next year and a year's worth of filters. Tom Hyatt stayed on top of everything with us and they even filed the warranty for us! We would totally recommend them for their very pleasant workmanship, professionalism and follow-up. Tom Hyatt and all of his staff that we worked with were wonderful!

Truly professional service. I have used at least 8 different A/C companies over the past 20 years and always was left frustrated, and seeking someone else. This one will get my business again. Fair and reasonable cost (you can probably get cheaper, but usually get what you pay for). Thorough - they installed it, and did not just put it in place. Skilled team to install. On time. I felt they went above what I had expected. In fairness it has only been working for 3 days. But I could not be more pleased so far.

Everybody we dealt with was helpful and professional from the initial contact through installation. They were recommended to my by a friend in the construction field. Their price was much better than the quote we got from the company that had been servicing our old system, and we had absolutely no problems during the process.

We had 4 estimates for service, and from the start I could tell who was going to get our business. Tom was our first contact and he came out and went over our system and what we needed and didnt need. He didnt try to upsell us on anything, just what we actually needed. On the day of service, the installation team and electrician were all on time and started work promptly after asking us if it was ok to start with loud drilling in case anyone was still sleeping. I watched them periodically, they were friendly and professional and knew what they were doing. They answered every question and were polite. They made sure before they left that I had everything covered and understood how to use the new thermostat and system. I highly recommend them. So far the system works great, we put in a carrier system. The best part, and most comforting part is their one year guarantee, if for any reason you dont like the system, they will refund you.

We had a small fire in our attic that damaged part of the AC. Since we have the maintenance agreement with Armstrong, they had someone out the next day to inspect and recommend a solution. A few days later, a crew was here and had it fixed and we were back online. Very good service after the sale.

The guys over at Armstrong definitely know what they're doing and they are courteous, prompt, and professional in every way. I had to get my unit replaced due to its age, Tom came over on Monday, and by Wednesday my unit was installed. Also, this should be a big plus for anyone reading this, Armstrong's installers, Israel and Fernando, took no short cuts. They made sure that the unit was installed perfectly. Any problems they (Tom, Israel and Fernando) encountered weren't brushed off, but resolved on the spot. Israel and Fernando walked me through the new AC setup and left my house as clean as it was before they got there. If you're in the market for an AC, these guys should be your first call.
