Ask for Mike, if possible. We used ANC roofing for our house and we've referred them to at least 8 other people. Everyone has been extremely pleased with their prices, performance and products. I would hire them again tomorrow if I needed roof work.

The morning the crew arrived to remove the old roof I asked if my car would be blocked in garage and was told no. However, it was. After the job was completed a lot of nails were left over driveway & in lawn. Other than these two things was satisfied with the replacement.

The ANC representative arrived very quickly after my initial inquiry with them. He did a thorough check of the entire roof and determined that there were more tiles in need of attention than I had found. They returned within a couple of days and repaired the tiles. They also determined that water was pooling in certain areas and fixed that problem too.

Crew only speaks Spanish which is fine, but we have no idea what they are conversing about. Office staff did not contact us pertaining to delivery of materials or anything. We found out when the truck showed up with materials this was going to start. Today when the crew started, no introduction of who is foreman or anything. Permit was not even on the property, it went with the truck that left. I am not impressed with how this company operates. The back patio roof was damaged by the crew. They showed up a month later to start demo on it, with no notification of start date, just "after the first of the year. Skylight was damaged by crew., still waiting on it. When I called them the owner of the company got on the phone and was just rude. "Lady you have no right to get into this now" was his statement to me. Horrible. Just horrible. Not knowing when this will get done if it ever will. Will never recommend this company.

Everything went great from start to finish!

They did a very nice job on the main roof, and there are no leaks as far as I can tell. It was estimated to cost $8,680 plus the cost of any wood replacement. It ended up costing $9,054. The sales man for ANC roofing assured me that because of the way they would transition from the main roof to the attached aluminum roof, it aluminum would not leak. They also told me the job would be done in 2 days, they said it would take 1 day to take off the roof and the next day they would replace the roof. They put a large garbage bin in front of the garage. The tenant who lives there was out of town and had left her car in the garage. When I could see when they would not be finished on the 2nd day, I called and also emailed several times to ask them to please remove the garage bin so the tenant could access her car when she returned. They did not remove the garbage bin until the 3rd day. There by inconveniencing the tenant. If they had just told me ahead of time that the job would take more than two days, I would have moved the car from the garage to the street. They replaced some wood on the ceiling of the enclosed porch and did a sloppy job. Where two pieces of wood met at a corner, they caulked the wood instead of cutting the wood long enough to meet. Also the wood had mold on it. I called the manager, he did come out and looked at what was done, and agreed with me that it was a very sloppy job. He sent two more men to put wood putty where the two pieces met, used Clorox to remove the mold and painted. It did look better after that. When the manager was at the house, I told him that the metal roof was still leaking. He gave me the name of an Aluminum company and that they could come out and add foam to the top of the metal roof and stop the leaking. Even though they had assured me that it was not going to leak. I was willing to call the aluminum company to have it put on and paid for it myself. The Aluminium company came out and could NOT just add foam. They said they would have to replace the entire enclosure at the cost of $3,000. I called ANC Roofing, I emailed the manager what the Aluminium company had said. So far I have received no reply. I also told them that it would be really nice if people would be upfront and honest and stand by their word. I am retired school teacher and I am not rich. I paid them $8,000 before the job was even complete. The rest of the money was paid as soon they replaced the wood on the ceiling. I had trusted they would fix it. I gave them an overall rating of "C" because they did a good job on re roofing the main house. I gave them a "C" on the price because again, they did a good job on the main house. However, all the other rating's are "D" because of the promise the metal roof would not leak, and because they were not upfront with how long the job would take.

The entire process from start to finish was wonderful. The salesman was friendly and very thorough with the presentation explaining everything about a metal roof. The workers were friendly, fast and clean. They completed my roof in 1 week. It looks amazing. Really great job all around! I highly recommend ANC.

Before going any further, I would to summarize by saying the work was grossly not done according to contract. But, the owner recognized the failures done by his people and refunded all the money. I respect him for that He had a new estimator that was not always truthful and had some bad installers. Hopefully he will correct that. He seemed very concerned about doing a good job. The disaster! About two months later we had a leak. The estimator came out and was going to charge $1500 more to replace some shingles one row above where they did there repair. He claimed that it was not his fault Note: We had twelve different roofers come out in the beginning to give estimates. in general everyone commented about the poor workmanship by Tanenbaum Roofing. I got pictures. Estimates ranged from $1200 to $9500. As a side note, some of the worst estimates were roofers high on Angie's list. Of the 12 only about 5 I thought had integrity. I assumed that ANC was good. I first caught the roofers using the wrong shingle material. That was couple week delay. The older roofer never came back after the first day or two. He seemed frustrated with chimney repair. They brought the skylights to our house and I looked in the truck and I was noticed the skylight that I looked at was not the laminated skylight that was ordered. They stopped again and got the right skylights, so I thought. I did not go on the roof to check the roof since I am elderly. It looked good from ground level. Then the rain came and then the big leak. As I said above the roofer wanted to charge for his screw-up and gave a false cause of failure. I called out 5 roofers. They took pictures. I sent the pictures to the owner of ANC. They found that three different roofing materials were used. One of the two skylights was not laminated. They only showed me the one laminate skylight. There were some areas with no shingles with only tar. The joining of the bad areas had spots with no shingles, loose shingles, no tar, shingles with no nails, poor skylight installation. I have pictures. I decided to have Roof Top Services do the work and they ripped out everything and expanded the replacement area, completely redid the chimney. Cost was $4,300. Great job! Like I said I respect the owner for returning the money. He needs to get some new people who can do the good job that he expects. If he has new people he needs to personally follow-up.

ANC roofing did some maintenance on my roof for some mild weathering of the roofing materials, This included installing two long strips of modified bitumen material with modified cold process application, as well as applying granules in those areas as well as after sealing vents and boots. Also skylight was sealed with modified bitumen strips, cold process material was applied, along with granules. Also a small uneven area of the roof was maintained by applying cold process tar and granules on top of it. There was punctual and timely completion of the work agreed. They are professional and responsive when contacted. Overall a positive experience. Would use again if needed.

Contractor was prompt with a quote and in performing the work including the cleanup. Did a very good job at a reasonable price. Neighbors commented on how quickly and efficiently the crew got the work completed.

From the moment we received our estimate for the new roof ,till the moment the work was complete, we were very pleased with the entire process. Our original start date was pushed back a bit, but that was not due to fault of ANC roofing. The new roof was completed in 1 day and the crew cleaned up and left no nail remnants anywhere. I would DEFINITELY refer ANC Roofing to anyone who may need roof work.

The gentleman who provided the estimate was prompt & very nice. However, the estimate was for $500, & the actual cost was closer to $1500. Although they decreased the price to $900, I was never provided an thorough explanation as to why the actual cost had tripled, other than there was more damage than expected. No pictures were provided. I asked for the owner of the company to contact me regarding the price, & that did not occur.

They were good and they were punctual. They cleaned up thoroughly and left no traces of rubbish.

Couldhave been quicker Some people didn't let me know when they were coming Didn't take a credit card because they forgot their machine. I had to write a check. I had to sign up for a warranty on line! I don't feel comfortable using a computer.

It went perfectly! On Monday the shingles were put on the roof and Tuesday morning the roofers were taking the old roof off. They finished on Thursday, cleaned up completely and left. We are having a lot of work done on this house and ANC has been the only contractor to do what they said they would do, when they said they would do it, and in a professional manner. Our roof looks great. We are very impressed and very happy. Thank you very much ANC.

Very Well. ANC did everything they said they would and finished in a timely and efficient manner.

Everything went very smooth. ANC came out promptly to give an estimate after the record rains in November. Permitting took about one week and ANC started right away. They finished in 3 days with 8 to 10 men. Job was kept clean and our roof looks great.

ANC sent their representative, Doug, out to inspect 2 leaks I had. He seemed very knowledgeable and supposedly found my leaks. Upon leaving, said I would have a quote in 1-2 days. Also gave me an email of where to send photos. Gave me a bum email and quote never came. Following week, spoke with owner, Arman, who said to send the photos to him and he would contact Doug. Advised Doug was an somewhat of an "intermediary." That's it...never heard anything more. Sent 2 more emails in follow-up and still nothing. Guess they didn't want the work or what?!?! No idea! In Response to 10/26/2014: I have no beef with this company, but I hate liars! I spoke with Arman (owner) directly who instructed me to send photos to HIS email: Arman@ancroofing.com. I find it curious that he didn't receive them nor my follow-up emails. Anyway...

Everything went well until the rotted wood replacement, which required that an extremely small area of roof tile had to be removed. Said roof tile was removed. The rotted wood was removed, replaced and painted. Then it took 3 days to have the roof tile replaced. Now, at this point, I am satisfied with the outcome. As Shakespeare wrote in 1601 - "All's well that ends well."

Contractor arrived on time, announced they were here, reviewed the work order, and proceeded to do the work. Upon completion of the work, they showed me what they had done (looked good), and told me to look at it more closely the next time it rains to ensure everything was ok. It took several occasions of days that it rained heavy for a period of time for me to ensure the gutter would handle to load. Gutter handled the load and everything is good.

It only took 2 days for the men to replace and place a new roof. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves. I love my new roof. My neighbor has asked for the roofing company's number.

I had purchased a big deal for the service, and it was good. I didn't get the result I wanted, but it was okay. It wasn't any fault of his.

The gentleman that came out was arrogant, had bad body odor, & bad breath. My home is 1,500 square feet and he said my roof was 3,500 square feet. He quoted me a total of $9749.00. I also looked him up on ripoffreport.com and there are many negative things said about him on there. He also has a very junky car. He told me he had to keep it running or else it might not start. I asked him to tell me about his employees. I said, “Are they contracted out or are they employees of your company? Do they speak English?” He seemed offended in his mannerisms & words that followed. He said, “Well, we have English speaking Spanish people.” I personally feel there is nothing worse than being in a contract with someone I cannot communicate with; that is simply why I asked.

Big deal was for $5999.00 for up to 2000 sf roof. Advertised as a 35% discount. Roofing is priced by the square (100SF). This big deal amounts to $300.00 a square and without the discount it would be $405.00 per square. I recently received 3 bids on my home and the average was $255.00 a square. It appears that this big deal from ANC Roofing is a big rip off.

Andy was a great guy to deal with. I have 3300sq ft flat roof on my house with an A frame in the middle. Hard to redo, Andy showed me exactly what they were going to do I heavily monitored the work that went on everything was installed correctly and the new system moves the water off of the flat roof. Great Job
