+ -1 moreJon Hezlep was the lead electrician on our 2020 home remodel. He was there from estimation to job completion and all the crazy complicated parts in between. Our family lived on site through the remodel, so the job was done incrementally over the course of almost a year (during the pandemic, no less). Every light, outlet, wire, fixture, etc. would eventually be touched. John was a lifesaver! Hezlep’s ability and capacity as an electrician, coupled with his knowledge of Florida electrical code and county inspection expectations really helped make an absurd living situation manageable.
Description of Work: Upgraded electrical service from pole to house (200 to 400 amp) and shop, as well as rewired 80% of the main house and the entire in-law apartment, shop (40’x60’), garage (24’x36’) and added pool/spa. As the lead electrician, John replaced, moved, and wired panels both inside and out, ran the wiring overhead, oversaw the work of his crew, and solved a lengthy list of problems on a house built in 1973. The previous owner had done some questionable electrical work that had to be addressed and there were numerous existing code violations that we were unaware of (and we had the house inspected when we bought). Industrial lights and fans were installed in the shop, outdoor outlets, including RV hookups were added. We even had to trench and bury conduit between buildings. The list goes on, but the above captures most work that was completed.

I needed the main electrical panel at one of my listings looked at by an electrician to see if there were electrical safety issues my seller needed to address prior to showing the home.
