Juan's Landscaping

Called and got a quote for my entire yard to get re-sodded. With no writing down of what I need to get done in my yard, Juan quoted me a price. I was fine with it and went with this company. As a customer, I am paying to get a job done well and professionally. Not this company, they sod my property and did not have any regards for the sprinkler system that was already there. They covered my sprinkler with the sod and damaged most of my sprinkler leading me to replace the sprinkler system with them. That s another cost added to my total. Then he calls me up to say that I needed more soda, tell me how you are sodding my property and you don t measure and give me a proper amount of sods you will need. You call yourself professional. You are not professional. I also ask to get an itemized bill from you and was not provided with one. If I am paying this company over $4500, I expect to have a great looking lawn with working sprinklers. Right now I have missing sods in some areas. Sprinkler not working in some areas. My lawn will die. So what is the point of having sod placed?? Horrible experience. Very unprofessional. I will not recommend this company.

Had a contractor tell me my whole sprinkler system needed to be replaced on my home that is only 5 years old. Juan came out on very short noticed diagnosed and repaired the problem in one day for minimal cost and most importantly didn't try to rip me off like the other contractor.

The start date kept getting pushed back, and when complete I found several areas that were not up to par. Had to call Juan and get him to come out and fix them. Some of the work was sloppy and he did not even finish all that was agreed upon. Mulch was missing, never trimmed palms as agreed upon and the anti-weed screen has hanging out in certain areas with little to no mulch. In his defense, Juan did come out and fix the errors and it looks much better. Disheartening how he left it originally before my call to get him back to fix it though. How could he have thought the way he got his money and ran was acceptable with shoddy, incomplete work? Unfortunately when he finished originally I was at work and only got to check it later in the day. Also coerced my wife to add a tip as well. Juan was very good at customer service and charged a very reasonable amount for the work. But it was promised to be done on a Friday and in reality, it was done by the following Tuesday. To me that is unacceptable. Weather played a part in one added day, but that was it. If you hire Juan, make sure you go through everything completed before you pay to ensure it is done to your satisfaction.

Juan did a great job. He was able to move my irrigation valve box without any problem.

I would like to say that Juan price wasn't the cheapest we have received, but was not even near the highest quote for the front and backyard landscaping. Being from out of state we didn't know exactly what we wanted except the fact that we didn't want to spend a fortune and we wanted something that was almost maintenance free. Juan took care of everything. We trusted his opinion and our landscaping turned out great. He totally nailed it. He was prompt, polite, and true to his timeline. We would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a total job.

Juan performed the work well and on time. Showing up to a job when you say you will is huge here in Florida. Charged a little too much for the work performed though. My fault.

My grandparents hired Juan and his team 27 days ago to fix their sprinkler system for their yard. Their first appointment was on July 1st. Over 3 weeks and $550.00 later their sprinklers are still not working. Aside from the incomplete job, and their inability to properly fix the system and get it working again, the most astonishing part of the entire experience was the customer service. On 3 separate occasions, Juan said he would be coming on a certain day and just never showed up. Could not even have the decency to call and inform my elderly grandparents that he would not come. One day, I finally called him directly and go figure, he showed right up. I have NEVER experienced such poor customer service or lack of decency in my entire life. I find it repulsive that someone could charge $550 to fix someones sprinklers and leave without them even working. There are plenty of other great businesses to work with, Juans Landscaping is one I would steer clear from entirely.

Great group, came and did what they promised to do and in a timely manner.

Hired to install new sod backyard lawn. Installed charged $1500 for 1200 sq. feet. The problems started after the install, supposedly guaranteed for 30 days. Came back to fertilize 2 weeks later, burned several areas (U.F. recommends no fertilizer until 6 weeks after laying new sod). New sod was very uneven with some dead sod. Juan stated that he would roll it for a further $250 but would wait until it dried out. I was watering twice daily for a month. Further contact thru Home Advisor and text messages got no response. I asked him to replace the damaged sod. Eventually I texted him to drop off the sod and I would install it myself, and if he did not I would enter reviews of his service on Home Advisor, Proud Belmont Homeowners, and Next Door Belmont. This produced a rapid response by text. I responded and asked him to drop the sod off at the house and gave him a week to do so. It never happened soothes review goes online. Warning do not employ Juans Landscaping
