I'm in the construction field. I can tell good work from mediocre or bad easily. The service and work performed by this contractor was Grade A+. They know their work, responded to a roof leak timely, were professional about it (did what they said, at the time they said they would), cleaned up after themselves, and did all at a fair cost. I was worried about the price tag that was going to come with the repair. One of the leaks was in a fairly complex location of the roof, but they were able to address it and the price was right. I was also provided documentation (photos) taken before, during and after the work for records. I hope to not have any more roof leaks, but should they happen, I know who I will call.

Brent was friendly efficient and fast. Because of my busy schedule he was always responsive to my calls, text and email messages. Estimate and work was quick. And the results were more than I expected. I highly recommend this provider and if the need arises I will be definitely be using them again.

Brent initially came out and, after going into the attic (another roofer didn't at all) and taking pictures of the problem areas, gave me, what I considered to be a reasonable estimate for the work that needed to be done. Brent explained everything and was very professional. On the day that the work was to begin, the gentleman who was doing the work showed up right on time. Juan was very professional as well and worked all day long. Juan and Brent worked tirelessly and completed the job in three days. Brent would send me pictures of the areas on the roof that needed repair before, during and then after the repairs were done. Both Juan and Brent offered explanations any time I had a question. They always responded in a kind and understanding manner. I surely will call on Quilllen Roofing should I or anyone else I know of needs a Quality, Reliable, Honest Roofer. Team arrived on time (830am) and finished work and cleaned up by 4pm. The workmen showed us the photos of work. We've had several hard rainfalls since the repair-- no more leaking. It took a few weeks to set a good date for the work since the roofer was extremely busy .... but so were we. Overall, very peased with work.

The crew showed up as promised and worked steadily for two days. They used high grade materials and worked to make sure that they detected all evidence of water damage in my roof and repaired it. They replaced the tiles so that the roof looks better than it did before! They cleaned up the area where they worked - swept my driveway and porch, didn't leave a scrap of material or trash anywhere. Great work, we'll use them for our next roof repair!

I needed a leak in the roof fixed. I looked at Angie's list and picked 2 for an estimate. Brent got into attic and spotted 2 leaks. the other company took a quick look and said yes you have a leak. Brent worker got to the house at 8am and left at 4pm They changed all the rotten wood and fixed the roof then they put the tiles back without breaking any. Brent told me it had been worse then he had thought, But he didn't charge me anymore then the estimate we had agreed on. I will hire them again.

After setting up a free estimate and getting a second estimate. I went with VE Quillen because of Angie's List ratings and warranty. The work was performed and after a substantial rain today there's no apparent leaking. So far very happy. I also received a discount for the Angie's Listing.

Brent and team were fantastic. Brent promptly responded to my request. He showed up on time. He did a thorough review of our entire roof - took pictures to show us. My husband could not believe that he got back to the far crevices of the attic. We thought we had a third leak in my daughter's bedroom but Brent confirmed that it was from the air conditioner condensation line and since we had the coils cleaned he said we should't see that problem. Was glad that it was also not another leak in the roof and thought it was a sign of his integrity that he didn't pretend it was a roof issue when it wasn't. He got the quote to us within two days and it clearly spelled out what they would be doing, We agreed and his crew came the following Wednesday. They were extremely professional and polite. My husband got up there to see what they were doing. He was very impressed with the quality of both their work and the materials they were using. Again, they took pictures every step of the way and walked us through them explaining what they diagnosed as being the root cause for both leaks. We saw before, during, and after pictures. They had to come back to reinstall the tile the following day and do some cosmetic clean-up but the bulk of the work was done on Wednesday. That night, as luck would have it, we had a horrible rain storm in Broward County with two citing of tornados (one in Pembroke Pines and one in Davie), we were under tornado warnings and flood watches. The roof repairs held and our ceilings were bone dry through the torrential rain. The crew returned the next morning and completed the job. I advised them that we had no leaks during that storm the night before. My husband who tends to be a big cynic was very impressed with Brent and his roofing team. I really liked that they walked us through all of the pictures so that I was able to understand what happened and what they were doing to correct it. We had the same spot in the kitchen repaired several times over the years (not by VE Quillen but another roofing company now out of business ) and could not understand why it reoccurred. Now I know why as Brent's roofing team took the time to explain and and show us pictures to support their diagnosis. I finally feel like the issue has been resolved. I highly recommend VE Quillen and would not hesitate to call Brent for all of my roofing needs in the future.

Had water spots on ceiling. Brent came over and identified the leaky area and took photos. Got a reasonable quote for $900 for the area (removal of tiles, repair of roof material, labor). Workers showed up on time. Two day job, due to rain. The workers repaired the damage, but identified the leak was happening further up, so we had to remove the valley up to where the leak began, which was another $900. Overall it was reasonable, and they did a great job. If I have a leak in this area within the next 2 years, I'll update this review.

After a very bad experience with a PREVIOUS company Brent was one of the companies that I asked to quote for the work. he was very prompt in responding to my request and came round during the weekend when I was home. He was very thorough job to understand our needs. He has a great manner about him and took time to explain every step that was required. He spent over 2 hours inspecting throughly our roof. He was empathetic to our situation and that we had been ripped off by the previous company. Nothing was too much trouble. After reviewing the quote he gave us as well as adding some additional work the company arrived 2 days later. His work force were polite kind and caring. Brent never mentioned to me however we are aware that the amount of work that was actually require ended up being way more than he could have even seen. Not once did he come back and try to re quote the job. He made good on his promise. A real gentleman. I would 100% recommend this company for roof repairs. Truly an amazing job that a previous company tried to fix 5 times with no success. Anyone who needs roof repairs - dont waste your time with other companies.....get Brent around. This work was completed over 3 weeks ago and still no leak!!

Brent responded to my request for an estimate in the morning and was at my house the same afternoon, exactly on time. He did a thorough inspection in the attic and on the roof and did not find any work needing to be done at this time. He gave me a detailed explanation and even called me afterwards with some follow-up thoughts he had on my situation. He was polite, knowledgeable, honest and helpful. I was so grateful for the rapid response! The rain deluge last Saturday had "raindrops falling on my head" and I was going on a vacation the following week. Brent came over immediately and asessesd the situation, sent me a quote by email, and had the roof fixed within 3 days. It took 2 men a full day plus to do the work and then the crisis was over! ]I had used Quillen 3 or 4 years ago for another leak in another area of the house. I called him immediately when this problem occurred.

This company is awesome and I would recommend them to anyone. They gave me a comprehensive estimate and started on time. Their work was first rate and the finished results were better the I expected . They cleaned the work area and it looked like they were never there. I will hire them again should I need anything else done.

I couldn't be happier with their service. They were always responsive to my emails and/or phone calls. This is a family owned and operated business which gave them an upper hand because their professionalism and customer first attitude. I didn't feel like I was just a number. Brent took time out to educate me on my roof repair (truly roofing 101) He truly made me feel like it wasn't about making the money but about making sure I as the customer understood what was happening on my roof. I can't say enough about him and his business. The workers were very neat and clean. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs a roof repair. I received several quotes for the job that I thought were a little high but I was willing to bite the bullet because I don't know anything about roofing until my son who knows about roofing (no longer in the business) told me the BIG name companies were really over charging me. I'm certainly glad I did my homework and found VE Quillen Roofing & Consulting Services Inc. They are the BEST!!!!!

We made an appointment with Brent to give us an estimate on repairing our roof. He was very professional and pleasant. He took several pictures while on the roof and reviewed them with us on the ground. He thoroughly explained the problems and his proposed repairs. They were able to do the repairs sooner than expected. With all the rain over the past several weeks we are happy to have dry ceilings.

Response time was very fast and very professional, I could not ask for a nicer person or better work! I felt the price was fair. I had to call them out for a another issue on a separate part of my roof ,they came right out and again very professional and nice.

It went very well. Brent is knowledgeable, professional, and congenial. I've used Quillen before and was pleased then and am pleased now. I have hired them for another job, installing Solatube skylights, and their price was excellent. My in-laws had the same product installed, but used another contractor, and ended up unhappy with the workers and paid over 30% more for the job. It's nice to know that I don't have to wonder or worry anymore about who to call when I need roofing work. It is without question Quillen.

He fixed it the first time. He did a good job, but I thought the price was a little high.

Brent was very nice, courteous and professional. He came to the house for the estimate soon after the initial call, right on time, and provided a quote for the work to be done. Once we accepted the quote, the work was scheduled. Brent and his crew were there on time, completed the work as scheduled. The only way to tell they were there is the new wood and paint. They were very meticulous with the screen enclosure, they covered the work area with drop cloth, the repair was done very nicely and cleanly. I called Brent after the work was done regarding another section of fascia that appeared to be slightly separating from the wall. Brent came the next day and fixed it himself immediately. We are very satisfied with the quality of the work and the people at this company, would use them again and recommend them to friends and family.

Upon setting up the appt. with Brent, he came out at the specified time. The wood to be replaced was 2"X 8" fascia board. apprx. 65 feet. I attempted to do it myself but after finding out how the existing wood was attached and how it would go, I decided to get a professional. Brent said it was not an easy job but they could take care of it. He and his guys showed up when they said they would, did the job in the said amount of time and cleaned up like they weren't even there. They caulked and primed so it's ready for paint. Thanks to them I didn't have to kill myself doing it on my own. Brent will be the person i'll call for my roofing needs.
