Absolute nightmare from start to finish. A year later the showers leaking and tiles are loose on the wall. Mr. ChifarI refuses to take responsibility for his shoddy workmanship and says contractors only give a 30 day warranty on their work! The unit and sinks we requested were not what we got. The shower leaked The job took weeks after scheduled date Mr. ChifarI is rude Mr. ChifarI does not tell the truth He subcontractor work and doesn't check on the workmanship There were certain specifications agreed upon that never materialised or were not done properly His tile guys cant do bull nose Shall I go on..?

This was a complete nightmare from start to finish. Sandro the owner is very pleasant and appears educated on bathroom remodeling when you meet him. I had photos of everything I wanted....no Sandro could build me bigger and better....no Sandro could get the job done in 6 days....no Sandro supervised all work and workers himself. ..NOT TRUE After the initial payment of 50% was made things changed. The tilers were awful giving me all kinds of excuses why they were late or only worked an hour here or there. Sandro was NOT present when they worked...I came home to strangers in my home. Then excuses why the unit wasn't ready...it's Christmas and I didn't know the warehouse was closed. ..yes he did, he accidentally forwarded us an email from them giving him plenty of notice that they would be closed. The custom double sink was NOT the one I had shown him in my pictures. ..at this point my husband just said put it in and get it finished. No attention to detail...bull nose was not installed correctly ( I checked with the company) My insets in the shower stall were supposed to hold large pump shampoos etc..they didn't fit. He said we only needed half a shower door, didn't order it until after tile was done, so 2 more weeks for that. Of course we needed a full door water was coming out all over the floor. Apparently the gaps between where the cabinet doors meet shouldn't meet....there needs to be a gap so the cabinets can breathe???? Door frame was chipped. I was to be nice to the tilers as they were doing him a favor, he'd pulled them from a job at the mall. Complete attitude change once we were committed. It's Christmas doesn't wash with me...he shouldn't have committed to finish a job he obviously couldn't do in the time frame requested. Could go on and on....suffice to say beware.

On November 30 at 6pm I called Sandro to see if we were still on for 1 December. he texted me back that he would be there on 2 December at 9 am instead. Guess he was waiting for me to call him before he told me. On 2 December he texted me that he was running behind by 30minutes then he showed up at 10am. When he got out of the van he said he didn't think the rounded corners would look good because the other rooms didn't have it. I said I wanted the rounded corners. Which he reluctantly said yes to. Then I asked here the dental molding was he said he would get it later and that he had to spray it which cost more money and that he was not paying for it and I had to pay the difference. Asked if he was going to get done in two days and said I thought he quote was with all materials he said the dental molding was more I asked how much he said like $40 which I said was OK then he said I had to paid to have it sprayed. Upon that I said are you kidding me spraying has to be easier then hand painting it. At which point he said he wasn't doing the job and that he was sorry he didn't get have down. I was happy I didn't give half down. Wasted my whole morning waiting on this Sandro Chifari from Sawgrass Kitchens & Moldings very unprofessional to come to your house one day late with only half the materials, try and change the job and then ask for more money. Hard to believe anyone put up with this kid of service, don't ever give half down.
Description of Work: I wanted Sawgrass to do crown molding in three rooms plus the family room. The quote was for $1463 which included all materials. In one room the office I was doing dental crown which Sandro Chifari know about plus I emailed that he could get it at Lowes for $80. Sandro came across as very knowledgeable and professional. He suggested that I finish the corners in a different way then the last ie rounding them. Showed me a picture looked great. Sandro wanted half down which I did not pay because the job was 2 months out but we made an appointment in advance for 2 December.

.Sandro Chifari.did work for us when we moved in. He remodeled our kitchen and we were very satisfied. However, when we decided to redo our Master bathroom, his professionalism and quality of work was not to be found. 1. he did not show up on time .2he made promises that were not kept for finishing the project 3. he left the bathroom with cabinets that were damaged by the finisher/painter due to improper drying time on the lacquer 4. the sinks were leaking and a plumber had to come in to repair them and remove the sinks which were difficult to do since they were NOT installed properly under the counter. 5.he refused to come back to take care of the problems and did not return phone calls. 6. responded to my email like this:"Hi I'm sending the compound today I don't understand Y the sink starts to leak wen I leave not coming anymore I'm done I don't know what is behind the tub must be the calking Ur cleaning people can remove with razor blade" 7. left a cracked floor around the tub floor faucet 8. When we hired him, we asked about licenses and this was his email response: " the permit is up to you, it will take a lot more time and to be frank I will not want to do the job. I have to wait for inspection sometimes all day, You will need A license Building contractor $$$ and sometimes the city need drawings from architect $$$ and I will charge more because more time, and I do all the plumbing, always have for over 28 years. I have completed more than 300 baths and will not hire plumbers because they all suck and do not show up and sorry but I have been down that road and can not be involved. I hope you understand. Thanks This was my letter/email to him: Sandro I think we have given you ample opportunity to send us the "fix " for the medicine cabinet doors, which really, YOU should be taking care of ! Not only is there the wrap mark but where you buffed in a circular motion, it's showing as well. I personally think 2 new door fronts need to be made.We have not heard from you and we also have a problem with one of the sinks leaking which means it will have to be removed and fixed, so we don't have to keep a Tupperware bowl under the sink to catch the water. We spoke with our Attorney today and he said if it is not fixed within the next 10 days, we will file a complaint in small claims court .We are so disappointed in your lack of finishing the job properly since we put so much trust in you and you say you pride yourself on following through. We paid him what we owed him on the last day he was there, and never was able to get him back to finish the mistakes. The shower leaks now as well and we are in the process of having a plumber come out and fix that but we are sure the step into the shower is not at a correct angle and that's why we have water constantly on the floor. We are VERY disappointed in his work ethics and can't believe he did not follow through since we had so many friends & relatives who were going to use his services. We did hire outside professionals to complete the work The cost was around $1,000.
