John was very disorganized as a General Contractor. He hired sub-contractors for the jobs and they were all terrible except for the Carpenter he hired who did excellent work. The other subcontractors did shoddy work, especially the fine details in corners/edges. Many times things were not done to satisfaction and Johns typical response was & What do you want me to do?; When we demanded that things be corrected he would charge us for the work.... not good! I would never recommend him to even my worst enemy. Terrible service/terrible workmanship.

Mr Lomonaco provided us with excellent service and supervision of the project, he supervised the project in an excellent professional and efficient manner. I would highly recommend him for any remodeling project.

A very courteous Contractor. With respect to starting on time and job completion I'll have to give an A+. Highly recommended.

It�s very difficult finding an honest, detail-oriented contractor in South Florida, but my friend, you are just that. I never expected the level of attention you gave to our job. I cannot say enough good things about John Lomonaco and Heartwood Homes. We hired Heartwood for our remodeling project - we renovated all 3 of our bathrooms, top to bottom - and what could been a very difficult and stressful process could not have gone more smoothly. John is honest, easy to work with, and 100% reliable, as were all of the people he had working with him. There were no surprise hidden costs (the only additional costs were for upgrades we decided to add and one small item for moving electrical wiring) and he gave me a schedule every week so I knew what would be happening when and who I could expect. I strongly recommend him.
