They were here about a month ago in February of 2017. I did not spend more than the $1100. Considering he changed the box but didn't fix the problem I would give them a C. They didn't do the job, that's all.

Couldn't have gone better. Was notified by my insurance company that the panel in my 20+ year old house was a fire hazard. Called Keith on a Saturday morning with the intention of setting up an appointment for the following week. I caught him when he had an opening and by Saturday afternoon the work was completed. He organized the breakers and labeled them perfectly. Quality person and exceptional service.

Keith provided a detailed quote and performed the service exactly as quoted, on time and on budget. He dry-walled the areas he worked on, leaving the space in better shape than found it. The work was great, and he was extremely honest, thorough and helpful throughout the process. I would absolutely recommend his service.

The job went very smoothly. Keith worked on the outside for two days and then finished up inside on a Saturday. He gave an arrival time and was always there 15 minutes beforehand. He came back to meet with the City inspector today, who gave the all okay for the work performed. Keith is very personable and goes above and beyond. He had to run a pipe from one side of my house to the other due to the location of the boxes. He painted the pipe so that it's not noticeable unless you're looking for it. I was expecting to paint the pipe, but he did it the same day that he installed it. Keith is a professional and I would highly recommend him.

Keith was precisely on time and let me know when he was en route. The work done was better than expected given the size difference between panels (drywall work had to be done). He was professional and finished the work in the timeframe expected. Would highly recommend Essex for this kind of work and will call Keith again for any other electrical work I need at my home.

It went well. My power had to be disconnected and he offered me a fan and and a plug so that I could still use the TV and Wi-Fi. He had a great personality and was extremely helpful and thourough. I would definitely call this company for all of my electrical needs!!

The electrical panel replacement went off exceptionally well. As advertised, he repaired the drywall around the new installation. A true craftsman. Keith was extremely knowledgeable and proficient. He has a very friendly personality and I would use this company again in a heart beat.

Keith was amazing! He showed up on time, provided a temporary power cord while he was working, very communicative during the entire process, and explained what he was doing. Everything went great. We will be putting our house on the market next month and had 2 Federal Pacific panels (original) that any decent house inspector will demand be replaced before a sale is finalized. While looking at his deal on Angie's list for replacing the inside panel, I gave him a call to discuss it. He told me that there was also a deal for both panels. I sent him a few pictures on my phone and he texted me back that the deal would work in my situation. I bought the deal and the next morning he pulled a city permit to do the work. It took 2 half days to do the job. He did the outside panel Thursday afternoon and the inside panel on Friday morning. Very neat and professional. We just had the final city electrical inspection this morning and passed with flying colors. We would definitely use Keith again and highly recommend him.

I purchased the deal on Angie's list on Monday evening, mainly because of Essex's high ratings and excellent reviews, and I was not disappointed in the least! Keith, the owner, responded to my scheduling request that same evening, and scheduled my work to begin the next morning! When I met him at the house, he was extremely personable and professional, explained the procedure and answered all of my questions in ways I could understand, and said he would try to finish the job by 6:00 pm, allowing for a brief break while he went to do an estimate for another customer. Since I would be out all day, he took my cell number and offered to send me pictures and keep me informed on his progress. He did just that, and at 6:04 pm I received the final photos with the message "job done"! I have rarely had such a positive experience with any service provider in the past, and I will definitely call him for any future needs, and recommend him to anyone needing his services! VERY IMPRESSED!!
