It went great. They were extremely punctual and professional. They completed the work in one day. I would highly recommend Essex Electrical. I am very thankful to Angie's list for reccomending them to me.

This project couldn't have gone better. Keith was very responsive to my initial inquiry and laid out exactly what needed to be done and how much it would cost. We booked a time, and he was exactly on time and completed the work quickly and neatly. Keith was very professional and not at all intrusive while he worked. I would recommend Keith and Essex Electric anytime.

Keith was on time and went straight to work. His completed work shows that he pays attention to all the details. He installed a new 200amp panel to replace an older challenger panel. We also had him install a whole house surge protector and a generator outlet for when power is lost at the house. There is an interlock kit on the new panel that is foolproof so there will no backfeeding when we are using the generator. He also painted our panel after completion. We highly recommend Keith!!!

Pleasant personality With excellent punctuality and workmanship . Advised me on additional work that was needed to meet up to date codes and gave me the price with his coupon, but did not aggressively insist on it. I would be a repeat customer for future electrical work.

Keith responded to my call right away, and gave us an estimate via photos from the swimming pool panel and the house panel. He gave us an appointment in less than a week, was there on time, cleaned up after the work was completed and fixed a couple of other electrical issues. Very professional and polite. I referred him to my daughter and son as well, a pity he only does panels.

Called Keith on a Wednesday and he did the job on Thursday. He arrived early, finished earlier than expected, cleaned up to the point you didn't know he was there, and the price was as advertised. I've already recommended him to family and neighbors who need this service. Can't recommend highly enough!

What I liked most about working with Keith at Essex Electrical is that I could text him pictures of what needed to be replaced and the same day he was able to give me an estimate. His pricing was in the middle of what others had quoted me. We could have saved a few hundred dollars with another electrician but given the promptness of his replies, how quickly we had an appointment and the beautiful job that he did it was all worth it. Also it is worth noting that the electrical box that he installed was a more expensive higher end box than others had quoted. Keith is a very nice guy, he would be my 1st choice if a friend every asked me to recommend an electrician.

I had contacted a total of 5 electrical contractors for estimates on the job I wanted perform. 4 out of 5 contractors either where no shows, didn't have a clue or where just blowing smoke. Where do I start? From the time Keith came over to evaluate the job, I had one idea on where to move my electrical panel. Keith made a better suggestion on where to relocate it to. Keith's estimate was very fair and was able to get started quickly. His work is meticulous. The attention to detail and perfection of work was amazing. Not only did he move my panel but also upgraded the panel to allow for more options. I couldn't have been more pleased with Keith from ESSEX. I will be referring anyone I know needing this kind of work done. Please don't waste your time. Keith is the answer and will be re-hiring Keith in the near future for additional work. EXCELLENT... We had a 9:00 appointment...Keith texted me an hour in advance of the appointment and let me know he would arrive about 15 minutes early...perfect... Since this is his specialty as an electrical contractor, he had all the tools, knew exactly what he was doing, went right to work and completed the job in a very timely, efficient and professional manner...at the completion of the work, he cleaned up after the job and even asked if I had some paint as he had to open a large opening in the wall and he painted the surface... I HIGHLY recommend Keith if you are looking for a qualified, fair, honest and true professional...

Incredibly smooth! After calling 10 plus electricians, I found Keith and he answered on the first call I made. He was honest, on time and very professional.

Since not all people will read the whole review, I will start with the bottom line: BEST SERVICE I got in a few years. I contacted Keith over the phone. We discussed the job and he asked me for some pictures of the two panels. I sent the pictures via text and he replied in a few minutes with an estimate. I asked for four other companies to provide an estimate. His price was pretty much in line with the other estimates. I liked Keith from the chat to discuss the job and decided to hire him. He gave me a date and time when he could do the job and showed up on time. He offered to put in an extension cord to keep my WIFI and computer going while he was doing the job. He used top quality materials from Siemens and did a fantastic job. I graduated in Electronic Engineering 30 years ago but I still fell I can evaluate the quality of good electrical work. Now comes what makes a great profession a great person as well. I did the replacement of the panels per request of my insurance company. Long story short, the insurance company asked me to get a signed letter from him. Not only he provided me the letter but he worked with me in the early evening preparing the letter. I can't say enough good things about the experience. Hire this guy and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

He came the day after I purchased it on AngiesList!! How can that happen in South Florida (nothing ever on time here)??? The work was done, explained, and done well. He even came inside to answer a question for me about some inside wiring.

I needed emergency work done as quickly as possible because my house was left with no power. I live in Miami Beach Florida and I am in the music business and run my recording studio out of my house. I needed this job done QUICK!!!! I contacted Essex and spoke with Keith at 8am on the phone, I explained to him what had happened and sent him some pictures of the damage via text. After seeing the pictures Keith totally saw the problem and within an hour I had an estimate for the repair. After having 3 other estimates from other companies that had come to my house, all within 15% of the estimate I received from Keith, I felt none of them were as knowledgeable as Keith (Who only saw pictures). So at 5pm that same day I hired Essex and asked Keith when he could do the work. I needed the job done right away cause I had NO POWER and was in the middle of mixing an album. Keith explained to me he was booked the next day and would see if he could move it, by 7:30pm Keith had called me and said he had cancelled his prior commitment and would pick up the parts needed and be at my house the following morning at 10:30am At 10:25am, Keith arrived! This man had all the correct parts, and was so meticulous in his work. I have never seen such dedication and professionalism from an electrician. He was well spoken, answered my questions and actually left the area cleaner that when he arrived. His work is absolutely beautiful and his attention to detail and knowledge of electrical codes is impeccable, right down to making sure all the power boxes he installed were level. He worked for 8 hours with no breaks and when I told him that the power company most likely would not be arriving for some time to connected my house back to mains from the street he hooked up the power from the street to confirm that everything was working correctly. Of course it was working PERFECT! (Note- My power is underground, so there was no to climb a power pole) I powered up my studio and I was back to making music! This was a big job and within 48 hours of the damage being caused I had it all repaired and power restored thanks to Keith and Essex Electric. All work was done with no drama, well ahead of schedule and within the original estimate! It's almost a shame to seal the power boxes cause the wiring is a work of art! I am honestly so thankful that I choose Essex based on the reviews that I had read on Angies list. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! THANK YOU KEITH AND ESSEX ELECTRICAL!

Keith at Essex Electrical was absolutely tops in my book! He was prompt, he answered his phone, he did the work amazingly well at a great price, and in a wonderful timeframe. It was most definitely the neatest labeling of a panel I've seen in my life. :-) Man even cleaned up after himself!!! I would recommend Essex Electrical wholeheartedly!
