Dave originally came on one day and began the job, but the scope of work was too much to do at that time. We re-scheduled for the following week so he could complete all of the work in one day, which he did. Dave worked quickly, neatly and efficiently and was very cognizant of getting the job done in the least amount of time in order to save us money. The price we paid was very fair. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dave for any electrical needs. We will be having DOT Electric back in the near future to change our outdated main panel out. He has already given us a very competitive price. In all, a great experience!

He did a very professional installation job. The installer even waited for me to go to home depot to get a new light fixture, as the one I had bought would not fit properly.

It couldn't have gone better. I recommend DOT Electric unequivocally. I am not that knowledgeable about electrical work and an unscrupulous electrician could have taken advantage of me, but most of the repairs he suggested were quick and easy with little cost. He made no attempt to sell me additional expensive work.

Extremely professional and personable....he explained what was wrong with some of the electrical problems, remedied them and installed two new outlets with minimal mess which he cleaned up. I would certainly recommend him.

He only took an hour to do the entire job. He then checked out my electrical sockets and updated them to code. He was awesome!

David has also provided estimates to upgrade both the interior and exterior electrical panel to the current code. Once the weather cools off, I hope to accomplish these projects. I was pleased with David's punctuality and work. Even when he thought he would be running just a few minutes late, he called in advance to let me know.

David was able to get me into his schedule two days after we discussed the issues initially. He inspected an electrical panel that had the breakers wired incorrectly and was able to correct the problem. He also installed a switch for the water heater. All said it was probably one of the best experiences I've had with any work done. I would highly recommend David to anyone in need of electrical work.

Dot Electric was a reliable knowledgeable company who came out and immediately tried to find the source of my electrical problems. He fixed my issues in a professional manner and then looked at my electrical system in general and gave me great ideas at a reasonable cost to fix some problems at my electrical box. It went perfect. Dave was timely, professions and quick. He communicated with me before hand so that he could bring everything necessary and quality of his work was excellent.

He inspected everything and seemed like a very honest individual. He tries to really find a way for you to make it work without breaking the bank. I scheduled him to come back and do more work.

I purchased a big deal for this service. They stuck to the big deal price.

David provided a quotation that I accepted. Was told that he would do the work on 06/04/2015. Did not pitch up on 06/04/2015. After I called, he told me he forgot, and will reschedule for 06/22/2015. On Friday 06/19/2015 I called 5 times and left voicemails and also texted him to confirm the appointment for 06/22/2015, but never heard back from him. At 6pm on 06/19/2015 I got hold of him and he told me that he still has to go to his office before he can confirm the appointment for 06/22/2015. At that point I decided that he is not reliable at all and I told him that I don’t need his services anymore. Completely unprofessional, and totally unreliable.

He is very competent, trustworthy and overall reliable. Dave was professional and I felt comfortable that he was more than qualified to do the work in a safe and professional manner from our initial visit. I would use him again and will recommend him to friends and family looking for an electrician.

Good communication via email and on time for service. Installed ceiling fan in master and fixed two loose outlets. Was finished early so he tested some other outlets in our home. Was charged $25 for parts at the end of service..in addition to the $99 already paid via Angie's list for 2 hours of service. Would use again.

Dot (Dave) couldn't have been more professional or easy to deal with. I originally bought a $99 for 2 hours. He came on time and fixed what i needed in less time. He didn't want to leave but I had nothing left at the moment. I liked him so much that we scheduled a replacement and installation of recessed lighting . Again, he showed up on time and got the job done quickly. The lights look great. When and if I have more electrical work, Dot Electric will be the first person I call. I was impressed with his professionalism and honesty as well as his craftsmanship. I recommend him wholeheartedly

I was experiencing intermittent partial loss of power in my home. I found DOT Electric on Angie's list and contacted DOT about my problem. Since I was very concerned about a fire, Dave, the owner, came over later that day and checked my interior and exterior panels. He didn't find any issues with the internal panel, but did advise me that my panel was no longer up to Code and had aluminum parts instead of copper (the panel was 37 years old). Because of this, Dave recommended that at some point in time I should consider replacing the interior panel. He was not pushy or heavy-handed about installing the new panel. Dave then went outside and checked the exterior panel. When he opened the panel, the plastic box and the insulation around the wiring for the first phase were melted. Since this was a serious problem and considered an emergency, Dave came out on a Sunday and installed the new exterior panel and associated wiring, etc. He worked about five hours and completed the installation, giving me peace of mind. I was so impressed with Dave's knowledge, professionalism, performance, and pricing that I had him replace the interior panel a week later. I was very nervous about finding an electrician but this turned out to be a great experience. Amazingly great service at a good price. I will definitely hire Dave/DOT Electric for all my future electrical needs and will not hesitate to recommend him to others.

David was a pleasure to work with. He confirmed the appointment the day before and arrived within the agreed time frame. He was very knowledgable, professional and curteous. We had some issues with a switch that controlled the wrong lights/fans and outlets and David recabled/fixed it. Everything works perfect now! David also installed a new chandellier in the dining room and replaced a recessed light in our kitchen. We can highly recommend David and will defineltey call him again for any electrical issues.

They came out looked at what was needed and we scheduled to work for today. Very professional job and I will use them for all my electrical needs and recommend them to anybody who asks.

Everything went perfectly. They came, installed the lights, recommended different fixtures than I had purchased to better suit my needs. While they handled some of the preliminaries, I ran out, purchased the fixtures they recommended, and everything fell into place.
