They solved the electrical issue at a reasonable price. I do not quite remember the date or price. The issue was solved and we are happy with the service.

The service and professionalism of DOT Electric is top notch. Arrived on time, explained what was being done and why and even walked me through some additional considerations for future work that I definitely need but would not have immediately thought of. I certainly plan on scheduling another appointment to take care of some additional items on my list. Great service provider!

David arrived on time. Performed all the requested repairs without a problem. Very professional.

DOT initial gave me an estimate of $1,000 to rewire 2 bedrooms. I had considerable problems with the electricity outages in both bedrooms. David was punctual, knowledgeable and found the problem. I had used an Angies coupon for 2 hours $99 for an electrician. David performed the troubleshooting within that time, found the problem and then gave me an estimate of $1,000 to fix. We scheduled a time for him to return. He returned on the exact date and worked efficiently describing the process and that he was doing. Very detailed and meticulous. He is easy to talk with and encouraged questions. He recognized that the estimate was too high once he began that work and finished it under budget. The total was $700. I appreciate the honesty and as a result DOT is my electrician of choice.

David from DOT was extremely courteous and knowledgeable. When the work we requested fell well short of the two hours of services we purchased he proactively found issues with our electrical system and remedied them. He came well equipped; when items we had purchased for the repairs were of the wrong type he happened to have the proper parts in his utility truck. I would highly, highly recommend this company and electrician.

In just over 3 hours, David did an OUTSTANDING job including installing a challenging wet/damp outdoor fan/light in very confined entry hall for mosquito control, diningroom fixtures, 2 outdoor and 2 indoor electrical boxes. His demeanor is EXCEPTIONAL and his concern for educating his customer and providing optimum solutions at extremely reasonable prices is REFRESHING! We are so PLEASED with him, that we have asked him to replace our renovated kitchen lighting with his suggested undercounter LED strip lighting to increase life and cut down on balast / bulb replacement costs. Excellent service! David did a really great job and explained everything clearly. He arrived on time and worked very efficiently but also took his time to make sure everything was done right. I highly recommend this company.

VERY WELL. He wasn't due until the 15th of September but called me on the 30th of Aug as he was in the area and had just finished another job. I definitely cancelled what I was doing to be here for him. He corrected some problems with the outlets that I had installed and replaced two with GFI switches, brought all of my outlets up to standard by properly boxing in the circuitry (not allowing a 1/8 depth of receptacle box) , tracked down the appropriate wiring to a dead light in my kitchen, AND, removed a faulty ceiling fan in another room. David is a professional in every way. He explained everything as he was working which was wonderful for me because I have a need to know attitude regarding my home. I fix many things on my own and will use the information he gave to address electrical issues if I safely can but will call David when I know I must. He is a smart guy and dedicated to honesty and reliability as I found out throughout small talk and throughout his 'teaching' as he worked. He never stopped working from the moment he began, truly refreshing. I thought his prices were very reasonable and I did have the $99.00 coupon from Angie's List for a 2-hour initiation. He will be returning to rehang a new fan so I look forward to that being done correctly. No Doubt! David came back again to replace the ceiling fan to perfection. He always asks if there is anything else that needs to be addressed, and though I knew that it was late in the day, he fixed two other light switches. Very good pricing and excellent work ethic.

David is the consummate professional. I originally brought him in my home to correct and update some outlets on a two-hour package. As he moved through my To-Do list, David explained what he was doing and offered suggestions that would bring my projects up to code. The list took much longer than two hours and David gave me a fair price for the extra time. I brought him back to update my electrical box and again, he was diligent, knowledgeable, didn?t make a big mess, and cleaned up after himself. Because of his fair pricing and work ethic I contracted him again to raise some electrical outlets in a sunken living room, and yet again to install and replace some recessed lighting. The only con about working with David is that new customers should prepared to wait. I am apparently not the only one who thinks highly of David as his wait list can be several weeks; although, he does set aside time for repeat customers and I plan on being one.

He did a fine job. I would rehire him again in the future.

I was really pleased with the work done. New fan was installed quickly and professionally. Very neat too; no mess left behind. I will definitely use DOT again!!

I would absolutely recommend DOT Electric to anyone who is need of the services. He not only was professional but resourceful. I was not too sure about the extent of what was possible in the electric with my house but he made it work. Impressed with his knowledge and efficiency. Jobs that other electricians and handymen were making it seem as difficult he made it look easy. Very personable and any recommendations he made were needed recommendations not just trying to sell me. Even though I only paid for 2 hours of service on Angie's list we went over a bit and I had no problem paying because of the quality of work that was delivered.

He asked if he could come earlier than we had scheduled which was fine with me. He showed up promptly and went to work. He gave me a few suggestions for the future but corrected everything I asked for him to do. He cleaned up after himself and was done within the 2 hours I had hired him for.

They were on time, and demonstrated great communication by providing me a detailed cost expectation and the required time to complete the job. I would recommend DOT to anyone.

David was very highly responsive and very on time. He explained what the best ways to go about doing what I had originally hired him to do, and what were the options based on code and price. He also inspected some trouble spots and was able to fix several outlets and sockets that were problematic. He had some great ideas to complete other projects that I wanted to do, and what would be the best, most cost effective method to do by code. I am ready to hire him for future projects already!

He was on time, polite and did what we asked? He answered all our questions to the best of his knowledge. We are new to area and apprehensive about who come to our home. We were very comfortable with David. There are other jobs to be done in our home and we plan to get David to complete in the future. He made our day, a great surprise... Thanks David.
