Description of Work: I have had Dot Electric out before to fix a problem I encountered when trying to replace a chandelier with a ceiling fan. I was very pleased with those services and decided to put a deposit down on a job to install recessed lighting. I later decided I really couldn't afford to do the recessed lighting job and Dot Electric quickly refunded me my deposit without any hesitation. I had Dot Electric come back out for an issue with the ceiling fan on my sun room. He said he thought it was probably a faulty fan and we discussed my options but I decided to try to replace the fan myself and see if that resolves the issue. Dot Electric charged nothing for the service call. Dot Electric will be my electrician on all future projects and I would highly recommend them!

The quality of work was exceptional. David's input and insights are invaluable. Description of Work: They came out and installed two motion sensor lights for the sides of my house. Replaced a light switch in my garage. Took out and replaced a light fixture in my garage and switched its position so that it would be more convenient for future repairs in the ceiling. He also gave me advice for my future plans.

Description of Work: Update 6/29/16: I want to clarify in regards to the response that I was not late and was at my home and he even called before to let me know when he was arriving, I even graded him A in the categories regarding his punctuality as he was on time. I Bought the 2 hour for $99.00 deal. He came on time, was nice, a bit chatty , which may have slowed his work a bit or maybe not. Only thing that bothered me was that according to MY watch he finished the job in exactly or maybe 5 minutes later than the 2 hours. He said he finished 15 minutes later and wanted to charge me for 1/2 hour, The extra charge was between 60 and 67 dollars (I don't remember exactly, it was a while ago ,I dont remember if he came over in November or December 2015, I'll have to look). | |Anyway, I said to him that according to my watch he was within the 2 hours or maybe 5 minutes past and why should he charge me for 1/2 hour extra? He seemed to get upset and said If he removes this charge he will NEVER come here again. So , not to upset him, I paid what he asked. | |It was not really smart on his part because I have a lot of electrical work to be done in my place and if he hadn't charged me extra, I would have hired him again for many other jobs. Because he charged me so much for maybe an extra 5 minutes and seemed to get upset, I have not and will not call him again. | |That's it, but the quality of his work was fine and he was punctual and nice enough..........
