I could not be happier with the service I received .Angies List had a Big Deal Special for A to Z State Wide plumbing for $75 to check and replace one leaking p-trap under the sink. It sounded to good to be true and I figured I would give it a shot.
Once I paid for the special through Angies List A to Z called me right away and told me the tech would be out there in about an hour and a half.  I was so surprised when he showed up on time, especially on a Saturday . The tech's name was Dan and the first thing I noticed was he was clean shaven and he had a clean company uniform on. I asked a lot of questions and he took the time to answer them. By talking with him I could tell he was honest which to me is the most important part of doing business with someone . He fixed my leaking p-trap in the kitchen and I was expecting some added charge but he explained everything was included in the Big Deal special. He also explained how they charge for the job and not by the hour which is a plus. I was also amazed to find out the job is warranted for one year . I then got this folder with some good information about saving energy and he even put in two coloring books for my two girls . I am still blown away by the excellent service I received.

My only toilet backed up and I couldn't unblock it with a snake.  A to Z had been to my home to replace an outdoor faucet a few days before and I was impressed with the work so I called back for this problem.  Adrian came to clear the blockage, he was professional, friendly and very competent. I had to call back for the same problem three months later and the toilet needed to be removed to get to the roots.  I was told the problem was a break in the pipe and what was done would be fairly temporary until the pipe was fixed.  I am just waiting for the roots to come back and will have A to Z do some major excavating then.  I like the company and all of the people I have dealt with there. The call service was very helpful and friendly, and kept me informed of any delays.  I would highly recommend them to anyone!

When the Service Technician, Rich, arrived, he did so on the day scheduled and on time. He was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and competent. He inspected the toilet, let me know his findings and thoroughly and completely explained the companies pricing and warranties. As I requested, he replaced the toilet with the model I had chosen.  Upon inspection of the new toilet it was discovered that a part of it was cracked (probably during shipping).  He called and had a new one sent over within a very short time.  He proceeded to install the new one.  He was efficient, thorough and a pleasure to do business with. I thought he was one of the best service techs I have ever had the experience to deal with.  Great job Rich !!

I don't remember how much I spent. The service was good. They were a little bit pushy. They wanted me to spend more money on other things. They wanted me to buy some things and something else to put on the septic tank. That was the only thing I didn't like about them. They were comparable to the others on the price. I would use them again in the future.

Hot water took forever to get to my back bathroom and I was told about a hot water recycling pump that would speed up the process. A contractor also showed me piping from my hot water heater to the wall that could be enlarged in order to increase pressure. I called A to Z on a Friday and was told that they could have a repair man first thing Saturday morning at regular time. He arrived when promised and was very professional and polite. One thing I didn't fully grasp until he arrived was that the company charges $89 for the service call but takes it off the bill if the work is contracted. His price seemed fair, at least competitive with other plumbers I have had come to my home, and I had him start the job. He admitted it was his first time installing a hot water recycling pump (I had already purchased the piece at Costco for what even the plumber said was a bargain price). But he installed the pump and increased the size of the pump with no problems that I have seen. He also worked quick enough that my entire Saturday wasn't spoiled. I appreciate that!

It went well. We contacted A to Z plumbing Sat. am to appraise them of our situation. Eban was at our home shortly after noon. He evaluated the situation, gave us some options on how to handle it, we chose what we thought was the best option and Eban got right on it. The problem was taken care of in short order with a one year guarantee on the work performed. We also received a discount by being subscribers to Angie's List. We were very satisfied. Thanks to Eban and the crew at A and Z plumbing.

It was horrible. As I was leaving town for my niece graduation I could not deal with the problem and he closed down the hot water. Next morning I get a call from my neighbor telling me is still pouring water from the broken valve. I call them to come in and supposedly they did but the next day upon my arrival the water was still pouring. Anyway after he "accelerated the process" he tried to sell me a new water heater brand Premier installed for $1055.00. I could not believe it. Not once I heard I want to clean this mess for you or you can file a claim with our insurance for your losses and clean-up. In front of the guy I called Lindstrom whom I have used before and offered me a Reehm for $300 less. Now the guy said he could lower to his price. I told him I googled his brand and nothing came up. They were not happy that "I relied on the internet to research their brand" saying it don't come up because it is only used for contractors. It was smelling really fishy and they were offering guarantees to 12 years but never said the product was good. I guess if you install the product then you start calling them when it breaks down and they kill you with the "fine print". Honestly very bad experiance and I don't trust them. Update: the Company called me to apologize and (see response by company below) they said they would send me a letter and coupons as stated here. I am still waiting 6 month later.

The service person was supposed to arrive between 8 and 9am but didn't come until 9:40am. He was very professional and performed the service quicker than he estimated, and then showed me exactly what he repaired. I thought the service was VERY professional and was properly equipped for all repairs, and so I signed up for a contract with the company!

I originally called them to correct what I thought was an improperly installed waste flange (where the toilet meets the floor). While the toilet was installed, but it rocked front to back if you sat on it -- not a good experience. I called A to Z and immediately got a real human being. The customer service rep provided me with a time (that same day) when they would call for a *45 minute window*; if you have ever had cable installed or a new phone put in, you know that a 45 minute window doesn't exist -- it's always 4 hours. As it happened, I wasn't around the phone when they called the first time and slow to pick up the voicemail. They ended up calling twice, about an hour a part to try and schedule the technician. When I finally called them back, they were still able to send the tech over even though it was already after 4 p.m. When the technician (Sammy) arrived, he immediately got to work investigating the installation and provided me with a clear estimate of the work effort (time) and how much it would cost. It turned out the flange was fine, but the waste pipe was crooked (causing the flange to be higher in the front than back and causing the unstable toilet). He said that he could still install the toilet properly, ensuring that it was stable, without having to break up my marble floor (thank you). The technican was done in 20 minutes and the quality of the work was top notch; the work area looked like it did before he arrived. In addition, he sayed past six to get the job done (without complaint or fanfare). Unlike other reports, we did get the Angie's List discount (10% at the time) and they did credit us the $89 initial service fee because we had the work done. The overall cost of the job was more than I thought it should be, but you get what you pay for; we received excellent service and quality workmanship -- they even warrant their work for one year. I would hire them again.

There total price was a few pennies higher then I thought it would be, but worth every cent. I have years of experience with plumbers and this is the finest experience I have had with any plumber that I have dealt with. There attention to detail is incomparable there plumber Rich was polite and answered all of questions and also wore booties while in my home and did not step on anything with dirty shoes. I was hoping to be impressed, but this surpassed any of my expectations as a whole. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for quality.

The agreement includes an annual check of the house. When they called to schedule the appointment, I actually had a couple of sue I wanted them to take a look at. My garbage disposal needed to be replaced and I needed to have the faucets changed out in a bathroom. The estimated cost to replace the faucet was $500. When he looked at the garbage disposal, the quote was $560. I declined this offer as well. He went outside to then phone his office. When he came back, he continued to try to sell me the over priced garbage disposal. All I wanted at that time was the free inspection I was due. He went outside again to phone his office. He came back with a written proposal, which we were told we had to sign. We weren't getting any work done, so I didn't understand the necessity of the proposal. Th proposal included the cost of the garbage disposal, which I told them I did not want to do. It was almost to the point of throwing him out of the house. I have received 3 phone calls from the company since, which I don't care to listen to. I plan to cancel my service agreement with them.

"I would first like to apologize to this Member for any and all misunderstandings that may have taken place as this is clearly is nothing but that. I also truly believe that we could have and still can work out what ever it was that got this customer to this point of frustration. We offer a Full 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and we aim to hit that target with EVERY one of our customers and clients and if you check our record We are on the Angie’s List Honor Roll. I am shocked as only 6 short months ago this customer rated our company with straight A’s and that is the rating we maintain to date and invite you to review all of our reports as we stand by our Guarantees. It leaves me to wonder how this can be? As this customer stated in his post I myself the General Manager tried calling the husband numerous times who I was directed to call by the wife and he would not answer or return my calls. I then called the wife who said please contact my husband and I tried to let her know he was not returning my calls. I am very disturbed by not having the opportunity to make right what might have gone wrong. In response to the actual post, this customer is one of our Diamond Club Members and does receive a free annual inspection of their entire Plumbing system as well as a 25% discount on any and all repairs and can use their accumulated dues towards any product or service we offer amongst other great benefits. Although we were there for their scheduled free annual inspection, the customer told our CSR that he would like for us to look at his garbage disposal and a faucet so we gave that high priority and the price was not $500.00 to replace the faucet and not $560.00 to replace the disposal as we have the paperwork that states to install a new ¾ h.p. garbage disposal with a 12 year guarantee and to fix the faucet with all of the Members discounts and dues they had paid in which was $47.70 the total cost was $379.05. We require all of our technicians and staff to fill out paperwork whether it is an invoice for work performed or a proposal for work proposed or spoke about so that we have a record of our visit. We would NEVER make someone sign any of our paperwork especially a proposal in which they do not want to do the work. However if the work was done or the customer wants to move forward with work we ask that they sign that they agree to the terms and conditions of the proposal so that the job can be scheduled or are satisfied with the work that was completed as is standard in the contracting industry. But would NEVER make someone feel they have to sign it as this is your right. I truly do wish that this member would give us the opportunity to show how much “We Care” which is imprinted on the Red Carpet that we put down at ALL of our customers door before entering their home as I am positive that this can be worked out. We are here for them as I do want to respect their wish and not contact them. So in closing I want to again personally apologize to this member for the misunderstanding in hopes they will contact us."

A & Z reinstalled the line, including a primary connection to the house. Once we agreed what to do, they started the job immediately and it was finished in 5 hours. The inconvenience was absolutely minimal, and the way they dug the ditch saved the portion of the lawn they had to dig through. They did a wonderful job!

He had me try to clog the drains and he tried to snake everything out. He checked that everything was flushing okay and that there was no settling in the pipes. He determined that everything was repaired with the snaking. I was very satisfied with the service that A To Z State Wide Plumbing provided me with. They offered a members service which we signed up for and they started applying it immediately. The gentleman who came out told me that I was getting an excellent price for all of the service. He was very professional while he was out at my home and I was impressed with them.
