 + -1 moreHe was prompt, professional, had all the right tools and parts, including the part that had to be replaced, and did a thorough job. This is the second time we used him, and would do so again, since he is very familiar with his specialty and carries an inventory of parts that leads to a satisfying visit. Nice, helpful guy, too.

I called and left a voicemail message the previous Thursday, received a callback on Saturday, spoke to and quot;The Docand quot; on Monday and agreed on a service call for Wednesday @10AM. Derrill called me at 9:45AM, letting me know that he was finishing a job, and that he'd be here at 10:30AM (if that was OK). It was, he came, and commenced work. I already knew that the service call was $65, plus parts (which ran me another $35). The work went quickly -- no problems or hidden and quot;gotchasand quot;. What really impressed me was Derrill's gentle nudging about looking at the other verticals (I'd initially called about breakage in only one of them) -- he reminded me that inspecting/fixing the others now would only involve the cost for parts, labor being included in the current service call. Considering that the blinds are the originals (1980), I had no hesitation about doing so. The Vertical Doctor was punctual, polite, and proficient. His dress was clean and presentable, and appropriate for the work being performed. Derrill's demeanor was pleasant, and he took pains to educate me about the proper way to open-and-close vertical blinds, to adjust their alignment (if/when necessary), and how to prevent any future damage. I heartily, and without any reservation, recommend The Vertical Doctor.
Description of Work: Remove, rebuild, and replace three vertical blinds (small-, medium-, and wide-width) in bedroom and living room.

Description of Work: The company that installed the new vertical blinds did a very poor job on installatioin and i didn't want them back. This is a father and son team that specialize on vertical bilnds repair and installation. Arrived on time and completed the work professionally. It's hard to find companies that will come for a small job but these guys had no problem. Not sure they're on Angie's List but people should know about their services
