The Dryer Vent Cleaner

Matt was great, explained exactly what he was doing and answered all my questions. He was professional and knowledgeable.

I knew for quite a while that my dryer duct system had come loose from the roof vent, but I had no idea who to call or what kind of business handled this sort of thing....until I joined Angie's List last week and found exactly who handled this situation via their search engine. Tried to do it myself, but to no avail. I've been worrying about a fire hazard to the point that I had forbidden my wife from using the dryer unless she was present to monitor it. In a nutshell, Matt was a consummate professional and a really nice guy. Being a LEO for 25 years, I consider myself a good judge of character and integrity...and Matt has those attributes. He was here for several hours, including working in my hot attic for quite awhile, so I was very pleased his bill was only $205. He certainly earned that. The only reason I gave Matt a "B" for punctuality was because he was about 45 minute late. However, he did call me to say he was hung up on another call and was running late. So, this would probably be considered an A or B+ by some of you, but for the sake objectivity, I gave him a B.

Matt was great showed up as promised and had all the right equipment. Fixed the vent correctly and even fixed the door on the dryer for us. Would use this firm again.

Matt did an excellent job cleaning the dryer vent! He had all the right tools and very happy with his work. He was able to perform service the same day I called him. I have hired 3 other vent cleaning company in the past and I have found the one I will be using each time. I would highly recommend the Dryer Vent Cleaner. He is very reasonably priced.

I called the Company at 11:00 AM and talked to Matt and he said he would be over between 4:30 and 5:00 that afternoon, he arrived at 4:50. Matt explained what he was going to do and then got to work. After checking everything inside he completed cleaning the dryer and hoses and then checked the outside dryer fitting. He notified me that while there was a cover on the outside vent there was nothing preventing anything from coming back into the vent hose. He made recommendations and showed me examples of the fittings that he had on the truck and I chose the ones I thought were best and he installed them. Evert thing that was done was done in a professional manner and it was a pleasure to do business with Matt and his Company, I will be sure to have them back on a regular basis to check and clean my dryer vent.

Matt was a true professional. He came out the same day that I called and even though he was running late from another job, he called ahead and insisted on still coming to my home, despite the late hour. He worked for approximately an hour and left the dryer vent and the laundry room in spotless condition, even advising that a wire cap placed at the vent outlet on the roof was hazardous and removing same. I have been in my home for 5 years and had not had the vent cleaned ever. I was impressed with his excellent work ethic, his knowledge, his thoroughness and again, his professionalism. I will use his cleaning service on a regular basis and highly recommend him to family and friends.

Matt was very professional and the fact that he showed up right on time only backed that up. He proceeded to check my dryer vent hose which was not only clogged, but old. He suggested that I replace the dryer hose due to the fact that it could cause a fire. He had to work hard as the dryer was part of a stackable washer/dryer and he did not have a lost of space to work with, but he did it. He worked for about 1 1/2 hours and the price was very reasonable. He also suggested that I have the dryer vent cleaned at least once a year, which I will do and I will definitely use him again.

I don't have enough words of praise for Matt and his heroic work. We have a brand new Samsung dryer. Suddenly it was taking an extremely long time to dry a load of clothes. Before calling Samsung, I made an appointment with Matt. He arrived promptly as promised, went right to the problem and to fix it went far above and beyond from what I've seen of other local vendors. He advised me that when our house was painted (before we bought it 1.5 years ago), the painters actually painted the vent along with the side of the house and it SEALED it shut. So virtually no air was venting to the outside. He opened the vent, tightened the hose, cleaned out an embarrassing amount of lint and it now works perfectly. Don't waste your time looking for anyone else. Matt's the man.

Came across some deterioration on my dryer connection vent and recommended a replacement, which I agreed too. On of my neighbor asked me if I knew any company I could recommend for cleaning out the dryer duct/vent. I looked on Angie's List (I always look there where I need a professional) and find The Dryer Vent Cleaner which had very good rating. My neighbor called him yesterday and Matt came today. He was very satisfied of his work. So I asked him if he had time to clean mine which he did. Besides being very professional, Matt has a great personality, very charming and very helpful when asked questions. I am going to recommend him highly to my gated community board.

Matt did an excellent job. We had a hot to the touch dryer and the cloths were not drying. All signs of a problem. He responded promptly and cleaned up very nicely. We will definitely use his services again. And...I will refer him to my neighbors.

Realizing it was time for the dryer duct to be cleaned I searched Angie's List for someone wand was fortunate enough to find The Dryer Vent Cleaner. I immediately called Matt and he scheduled an appointment at 7:30 AM the following day. He arrived on time and immediately began cleaning the dryer duct even repairing a small problem in the back of the dryer. He was pleasant and advised us how to care for the dryer until next year when he'll be back!!! After searching for someone to handle the job it was wonderful to find Matt at $85 as opposed to some who were quoting $200 plus to do the same job. Thanks Matt for a great job. We'll be spreading your name thoughtout Palm Beach County.

Matt was very flexible with his schedule to work with mine. He showed up on time and proceeded to get right to woek. He explained what he was doing and all the he did. He was personable and professional in his work, and a reasonable price.

Matt was very professional. He cleaned the vents from the inside and also went on the roof to clean the vent from the top! I use the dryer everyday and this morning it dried all my towels super fast.
