+ -1 more.They did an excellent job cleaning the roof. Then, for just an extra $50. they cleaned all the stones around the flower beds and the entire lanai. I would definitely have them back again and recommend them highly.

+ -1 moreI can't stop looking at my roof. It looks brand new!!!. I love the job he did. I will NEVER have a power washer come out to do it or my driveway again. He protected all vegetation around the home ( I don't have gutters). His helper watered down the area around my house as he was cleaning it. I was so impressed with the job that I had him put me on the 6 month plan. Don't waste your time/money getting a power washer. NOTHING compares to what this company uses and the job it does. My roof was put on in 1999. It seriously looks BRAND NEW. even the grout is immaculate.

Description of Work: Tom cleaned the roof, patio, driveway, walkways and used a chemical compound and everything looks bright and shiny and new. Sunstate does not power wash and some other companies do. I am very pleased with the job and will defintely use them again.

Called again on Tuesday and was told someone would come by to look at the roof and then return a call with an estimate. No one showed up and no one called. It has been over a week since they were to come by. Needless to say, I found another company.

+ 0 moreSee description above. Excellent - I will hire them again and you will not go wrong by hiring Sunstate. They are professionals - this is how they earn their living. This is not a part-time operation. They are the real deal.
Description of Work: My roof needed cleaning due to visible mold and mildew - a common problem in Florida. After searching for a reputable contractor to do this work I settled on Sunstate. I was impressed with the professionalism they displayed from the first phone call. Also, they kept the appointments we set - for the initial inspection and actual work. This is often a problem in South Florida, where many contractors only show up when it is convenient for them - even if they have made appointments. Sunstate is a truly professional organization I have had my roof pressure washed in the past, and when the work was completed it looked cleaner - but after Sunstate finished the cleaning my roof looked almost new. I have a Gerard Stone Coated Steel roof, which requires specialized cleaning. Sunstate uses a chemical cleaning process which is much less harsh on the roof than standard pressure washing. Within 4 hours the entire job was completed, and the roof looked fantastic. The last time I had it cleaned it was a 1 1/2 day job. I am very impressed with the quality of workmanship and overall professionalism of Sunstate. They even covered all the plants near my house to ensure the cleaning solution did not harm them. I would absolutely recommend them and will use them again for similar work.

+ 1 moreI hired this company to chemically clean my roof, as I will not have it pressure washed. When they did the estimate, they gave me an itemized list of estimates for other areas of the house that I may want to consider cleaning. I choose to have all areas completed, including my driveway which was free with a coupon from Angie's List. In the estimate, they were very clear, that they may not be able to get the grease stains out, but that they would try. They went above and beyond with the work they did. Not only did they clean all of the areas we had agreed to, but they also cleaned my patio and spent a significant amount of time trying to get the grease stain out of my driveway. In addition, the team working on the house was very nice and helpful. I am very happy with the service provided and quality of work. I thought they charged a fair price and I would definitely use them again.

+ 2 moreSunstate responded quickly to my request for an estimate, described how they planned to do the job, we agreed on the price and scheduled the work, they asked for no money up front for the cleaning portion of the job, we did give them a deposit after scheduling the sealing portion to cover cost of materials. The owner of the business does the work himself along with an assistant and seemed very conscientious and respectful of our home and property, the job came out very good.
Description of Work: We picked the company based on their great rating here on Angie's List and word of mouth reference of a friend who used them to clean her concrete tile roof. Sunstate cleaned our concrete tile roof, driveway, and paver stone pool deck and walkways using a chemical method. Results were very good so we called them back to seal the driveway and pool deck. The cleaning portion was about $600, sealing was an additional $1200.

+ 1 moreAfter buying a "short-sell" house with a VERY DIRTY tile roof, we hired Sunstate Cleaning Systems to clean our roof and gutters. They used chemicals, rather than pressure washing, and I ended up with a sparkling clean roof that looks wonderful. I went from having the dirtiest roof in the neighborhood to having one of the cleanest in the neighborhood. They also went to some trouble to protect my plants to avoid spraying chemicals on them and then cleaned my big patio surrounding the pool. They did such a great job that I asked them to go to my old house (which is up for sale) and clean the gutters, the pool enclosure and the patio surrounding the pool. They cleaned the green mold off the high framework over the pool and the rest of the enclosure and after cleaning the patio, they went to some trouble to keep the dirt from the patio from running into the pool. They also cleaned my entrance sidewalk and driveway. Both Tom and Joe are professional, hard working, and reliable men. They are friendly and explain the costs up front for each job. I will use them again.
Description of Work: Nasty, dirty roof desperately needed cleaning! Sunstate cleaned my roof and gutters and then my patio. They did such a good job, I had them my other house's gutters, patio and pool enclosure The price I spent was for two separate houses.
