Statewide Windows & Doors

Statewide Windows installed a broken window, damage all the door frames around my patio doors and cut an electrical wire (left it exposed) around one of the door frames. My walls were intact prior to the installation; They completed the installation without saying anything to me about the damage or the broken window. When I brought it to their attention that they cut my electrical wire, they said that they would send someone to repair it. Then they said that the wire inside the wall was too close to the door frame, therefore they are not responsible to do any repairs. 6 months later, no one from the company ever came to look at it. I ended up paying for the repairs myself; BEWARE of their contract because they have a clause in there to protect them if they damage your property. As a homeowner, you will not only pay for the windows and doors but you will be left to pay for any damage that they cause to your property. It took me 5 months after the installation to get properly fitted screens for 2 of the windows; Statewide shows not only poor workmanship but shows a general carelessness about the customer beyond getting their money.

Great presentation and value they were great and knowledgable. The install is done love the new windows and doors. The install team was great kept me in the know and great follow up. Overall thrilled

This was the worst company we have ever had to deal with. A 2 day job has lasted 5 months and we are still waiting for it to be completed. Permits were not pulled until after the job was done for one part of the project and still not inspected. The management staff is a JOKE, they don't call you back they make the girls in the office deal with upset customers. The owner doesn't care about anything going on, my husband and I have both left several messages and when I say several probably 6 message each for the owner to call us and nothing. He has no idea how the two clowns that are the managers there are running his business. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. They say they don't take all the widows out at once and that's a lie. They put doors that are to small in and think it's acceptable to fill the space with shims. The crew at my house was there till after 10 pm doing terrible work. No manger to come out and look at the terrible work that's done. Sorry and very disappointed I gave my money to the company. Save yourself from frustration and disappointment and use another company. I am still waiting for a call back from a manager but they don't call because they don't like to hear the truth. When you call the office they are always out or busy. This company is a joke and should not be in business. Terrible customer service and rude staff. The owner should be more involved with what's going on and should return calls. When you put a bad review on their website it never gets put up. Stay away it will be the beat choice you make.

Representative from statewide windows came to my house pitched his windows types and prices. We agreed on a price after a while. I told him I still had two other companies coming to give estimates. He asked me which companies and trying to keep an open and honest dialogue I told him which companies we're coming. He told me what each would do and say and I said I still need to listen to them and then I'll make a decision afterwards. Yeah, here's the part, that's one for the books. I went to get some money and dropped it before I got back to the representative. I couldn't find it anywhere. I asked him not to leave until I find it, now he could have left but he didn't. He called his boss told him what happened to and I asked him to help me find it. And he found it. Let's just say it was a lot of money. Statewide Windows rep. was really a exceptional person, honest, and knowledgeable. More importantly he was exactly right about the other sales people. At the end of the day I call Statewide Windows back and agreed the buy from them. Now let's see how the rest of the process goes. I feel confident it will go smoothly. Update Update, read my 1st review. Still very satisfied I suggest you read my first review. With that said it's only been a few days they've now come out and measure my windows. Explain the process, said when my Windows come in and I'll make a deposit, set- up final installation. It seems a lot of people complain when they don't have their messages or phone calls answered instantly or on time. If you do any homework at all, you'll see it's a process. First, the pitch of their product. Then someone has to come measure your windows. The measurements have to be sent to a company who manufactures your windows, installation time needs to be set up and then the installation happens. Usual time 6 to 12 weeks. If you want windows in a week, can go to Willy's one day windows you have them put in a week. Fake name. I'll continue updating as my process goes along. I'm happy so far and my expectations have been met or exceeded.Thanks My windows came . I don't think the installers realized they were going to have to cut my windows out. They had a lot of work it took three guys 10 hours my windows are in they look great. Could not be happier. It took the town of Port St Lucie Florida longer to finish the permit then for Statewide to install my windows. To be fair it's The great Corvid 19 plague of 2020's fault. Statewide Windows finished caulking right before the inspection. That was genius on Statewide's part. To be very truthful I can't say a single bad word about MY experience with Statewide Windows. Here's my advice for anybody looking to upgrade their windows or any other contractor upgrade for that matter. Be patient, be kind, ALWAYS get at least 3 estimates. (recommended by the state of Florida fraud department), Call companies back without them knowing it's you, ask them if they can fix a problem that's not theirs, if you're not willing to help, or they don't get back to you that's a big red flag. The longer it takes for them to get back to you, is the longer it's going to take for you to fix a problem when you really have one. I got prices from $5000 to $35000 so it's up to you and our reviews to make sure you comfortable with the price you get. Remember everything is negotiable don't be pressured into making any instant purchases. If the price is good today and not tomorrow move on from that company. I will leave pictures if I can. I hired them to do my screen porch replace with windows they give the estimated and where suppost to be installed the second week of December .i still waiting to be installed never call to said any.. So i cancel them....very irrespondable..

Very professional company on all end, from the sales department to the installation team and the owner. Very high quality work my wife and I were very pleased and still are. Would gladly do business with them again. Thank you to everybody who made this experience for my wife and I so smooth.

Very impressed! This business was efficient and easy to work with. Statewide did exactly what they said they would do - install the eight windows, new entry door and new sliding door precisely as discussed and agreed upon at the price point disclosed. It was right before Christmas so was slightly hesitant to even do this project & obviously fearful that the project would not be completed in time (before family arrived). Thankfully this company sticks to their word - they finalized the project in time & on budget. Again, very impressed & HIGHLY recommend. Unfortunately I can't recall the name of the young lady I spoke with who was handling things for me & my wife but she was great.

To their installation and response time I enjoyed their services didn’t have to go long with waiting to get answers back they were very professional and attentive

Nikki was amazing! Lets just start there. She genuinely cares and wants to make sure you have an amazing experience. Questions, problems, concerns - she handled perfectly. She made the experience stress free. This company overall is fantastic. They show up when they say they will, they do the work in a timely manner and leave you satisfied. I highly recommend this company. Ask for Nikki without a doubt because she ensures the process goes smooth. After previous issues with contractors and various companies in the past, Statewide makes you realize there still are a few fantastic businesses out there.. this was the most pleasant experience I've had with any company working on my home.

Do not waste your hard earned money or time purchasing Hurricane impact windows and doors from Statewide! First, we were deceived by their salesman Ray Bergan who's sales tactics regarding timeline of receiving and installing the windows and doors ended up costing me over $2500 in discounts with my insurance company. He promised they would be received and installed within 8 weeks give or take a week or so. I contracted with Statewide on Nov 20th. My windows and doors were not received and being installed until the end of March. Statewide then failed 2 different inspections with the city of Pompano and would have failed a 3rd if we hadn't talked to the inspector. Forgotten screws, unreliable pictures and so on. The constant removing of my sliding doors ended up breaking one of my screen doors which was just replaced a month ago, we are in September! At the end of May my husband was closing a sliding door (ES Windows sliding door) and the window pane cracked on the inside. These are supposed to be HURRICANE IMPACT and of course I call Statewide immediately and got the, we will send someone out. Statewide's employee said, this shouldn't have ever happened with the sliding door and Statewide should replace it. They then send out an ESwindows employee who says ESwindows will not warranty the sliding door pane. I find out that it will take 40ish days to replace because they are manufactured in Columbia of which we were not aware of, and they are making me pay for it! We did nothing but close the door, it was never hit by anything! So DO NOT PURCHASE ESwindows because they will not stand by their products!! I have been waiting since June 4th for that sliding door, it finally shows up in August and with a nice scratch on it so of course I send it back. Now they tell me ES windows says I should buff out the scratch, which you can clearly feel in the window and I say no. I have to purchase this pane and I want it without any scratches on it, that is probably why the pane that broke lost its integrity in the first place! We just had that threat of Hurricane Dorian and I have a broken sliding door still today. Thank God we didn't get hit like we thought. With an 8ft cracked door, I don't feel really secure.. Statewide has no regard for your time and they have absolutely no communication! You will call them over and over again, be promised a time and day they will be there to finish their work and they would never show up and would never call you! I was passed from person to person starting with Michael Grodin who is in management and he then passed me to Joel Lyne. No communication, no respect, disregard for your time! I asked to speak with the owner and they tell me I need to talk to Michael Grodin. Really??? So did Michael Grodin or Joel ever call me back? NO! And they would not give me the owners phone number. So to the owner, who probably will respond to this review but I can't seem to speak with, I have had 2 friends who needed to purchase and install impact windows and doors and they did not use Statewide! SAVE TIME AND MONEY AND DO NOT USE STATEWIDE!!!

Statewide Windows and Doors haveTerrible from Start to still not finished! Order was placed July 21st 2018. Was told 6- 8 weeks they would be ready. 4.5 months after Signing Contract still waiting for completion and 1 Third of the order are still not in. From signing Contract and payment Date it was 5 Weeks before the initial permit package was even submitted to local authority, It was ready for pick up 2 days later Statewide windows and doors did not go and pick up within next 5 so I picked it up and sent it to them. From this time I contacted Mgmt and asked for expedited service to meet Construction deadline.They went so far the other way its ridiculous. Initial order showed up for Install week before Thanks Giving. After first day of install they realised they measured 2 windows wrong by 20 Inches Each and One Side house Metal door was 6 Inches to Big,Missed One Window off the order all together and also messed up order of a French Door and Large Bay window which should have had an opening with 2 small side fixed windows( They sent 3 All fixed) I have been duped,Delayed, told Lies regarding dates from all in this company. They said today they hope to have windows arrive today and install in next 2 weeks. They are now no responsive,Non Compliant. My whole house was gutted renovated fully removing walls , Entirely Skimcoatted, New Kitchen, New Bathrooms,Electrical,Tile throughout 3000 Sq ft, Painted right up to every door and window opening 6-8 weeks ago and I'm still waiting to finish because of this company. Run away from this Statewide Windows and Doors as since I now started fully investigating them I have horror stories from other customers too. I went off a friends recommendation that had used them and had a good experience, I picked a middle price company as I did no want subpar products or service. Investigate all avenues folks its a lot of money and when it goes this wrong and company don't care or Call you anymore or show up when they are supposed too.Its terrible. Avoid Statewide Windows and Doors and Contact me on hear iif you want more pics or copies of any emails sent from this Company as proof I have it all.

It went very well. Contractor worked efficiently from the sale to the closing of the final permit. Satisfied with the product that was sold to me. Had one issue with a stress crack and they replaced the glass within 3 weeks of placing the service call.

Did NOT use this company. The high pressure sales was a turnoff. We cannot get them to stop calling us. We selected another company, I keep telling Statewide to stop calling, yet we still get calls every few weeks. I cancelled our scheduled appointment when they insisted that both husband and wife be home for the initial appointment of measuring and estimate. Each time they call I explain why we cancelled and used another company. Last time I was hung up on mid sentence. There are much better companies out there, we found one that was professional, timely and no sales pressure at all.

Salesman arrived on time and was polite. Gave quote for 7 vinyl windows. Would not give written quote, said price would increase in 30 days due to seasonal high demand. That was about 6 weeks ago. Received a phone call this evening from manager who advised of slow period (this is April) and asked if they could requote job at a discount so they did not have to lay off any installers who had families and bills to pay. I ended call at this point, sounded like a scam.

Work was completed in one day, also about 3 weeks earlier than the projected start date. Crew did a ok job at keeping dirt from my things, some damage to stucco, but was fixed by them. I did have to paint, but I knew in advance they did not paint. My only issue was the sales person, a little pushy, but a good salesman.

It did not go because of discrimination by this company that refuses to provide quotes without a husband present.

Lied to over & over-just 1 example. I called to see about getting the plugs for the drill holes. Told me they would mail them out today-week later I called said they had to order then & would get them out today- 1 week late I called was told they would go to the post office & send right away- 1 week later I called again & they had someone bring them out-this is just 1 example there are others if you want them-.
