The service was fantastic. James is incredibly courteous and professional. Installation was quick and easy, and the pricing was the most competitive I found.

Both James and his guys were very responsive and professional. I am very happy with the result. A quality product built and installed on site with excellent workmanship. The only downside to the whole project was the very lengthy permitting process here in Boca - but that wasn't their fault. I would definitely recommend them.

Sonshine and James did a fantastic job installing a 3 and 4 foot fence in our front yard with a gate, two side gates, our entire backyard and another gate. His team did a great job despite being delayed with constant rain for the few days Sonshine is a fantastic company and I could not have asked for better. Living in an HOA communitiy and seeing the "competitor" work around the community, I am thrilled to have the best at my house. The competitor's shoddy work and corner cutting is evident in too many yards around the neighborhood but not at my house! If you need a good fence, sturdy and stable, done right, call Sonshine!

The installation of the fence was completed in a timely manner, approximately 4 days. The fence looks beautiful and brings out our backyard and house. The workers were very professional, informative, knowledgable and eager to please. The owner James as well as his workers were very helpful and and pleasant to deal with. James checked on his workers periodically and kept communication open with us as well at all times. James gave us advice that wasn't to his benefit financially which is extremely rare. He had the our best interest at heart. Overall I would refer James and his company to others. It was a pleasure working with them.

James and the crew are excellent. This is the second time I called James. The first time I called we ended up not doing the work. James is so personable and easy to work with I didn't hesitate to contact him again. I called another company that had an A rating on Angie's list and there was no comparison. The first fencing company had a guy with zero personality plus his price was higher. James came out and I immediately knew I was going with his company. They did an excellent job with installation and we couldn't be happier. I had to call James back on a minor issue and he was as responsive as when I asked him to bid on the job. You won't regret your decision to go with James and Sonshine Fence. He is A plus in my book.

It only took a few days to put up, very beautiful. Once he got the permits he got right to work.

Needed someone to quote me on mechanical gates for my new home. Left a message late Sunday night, received call early Monday morning. This company does not do mechanical gates, but he quickly referred me to someone he knows that does. Professional, polite and helpful.

Went very well. Job started and completed on schedule. Installers were very accommodating . Owner stayed on top of job.Quality of work was very good. After a few months a few of the boards split from weather conditions. They were replaced promptly at no cost to me. In summary this company delivered a quality product in an honest and friendly way.

Called Sonshine for a quote. James the owner responded promptly and supplied a quote which included all permitting. He also supplied local job references so we could see his work. Suffice to say his work was very clean, very professional. Timetable went as he advised and fence was installed in 1 day. Great company! I referred him to neighbours after many positive compliments.

James came out and provided a professional estimate for me. He gave me a time frame of permit approval and installation. They stayed within the time frame. The fence was out up and the crew sent out was professional and courtesy. They cleaned up their mess which I thought was nice. They sprayed the yard down to assure there was no stray cement. Everything went fine.

James was awesome! He is extremely pleasant and was able to answer any and all questions that I had. I 4 have small dogs that I needed to make sure wouldn't be able to fit through the spacing in the fence. He made suggestions about sizing for the spacing and even met me at a different locaiton on a different day to make sure the smallest dog wouldn't fit through the fence by bringing a sample fence to test. The fence was installed within the time frame originally promised and it looks great! The guys on site who actually installed the fence were also great and answered questions that I had for them. Pricing was on point. I would definitely recommend them to anybody.

This is a follow up to a review I gave Sonshine fence after our initial conversation on making the decision to install a privacy fence. James gave us excellent advice on our options, one being to keep the overgrown ficus and trimming it back to a hedge. He said for our purposes that a ficus hedge would be our best bet because it would be the least affected by a hurricane. Wow honest advice at the expense of not getting the job! He did this after spending considerable amount of time giving the advice. In the end the ficus was not salvageable and we gladly called James to install a wood fence. To save money he suggested I could handle the permitting since I live close to city offices, which I did. I now know why it saves as this was a time consuming endeavor. Another attribute of doing business with James. As I expected, at this point in our relationship, the quality and workmanship was outstanding! They took great care in assuring the fence was the proper height, level and very sturdy! They built the fence from scratch, using quality wood cut individually to size and as James had mentioned special nails to better withstand our climate. True craftsmanship! James prepared for any problems that might arise in closing the permit which I really appreciated. Our fence is fantastic, so fantastic that I am glad the ficus had to be cut out and Sonshine could install a fence. So worth the cost. I would highly recommend Sonshine fence, and will to others. Even if their bid is a little higher, their quality and care in what they do is unequal.

James took the time to get to know us, he followed up before his guys came to do the install, helped my landscaper figure out how to cut back the bushes to maximize our fence allowance. He kept me up to date with how the permit process was going. From beginning to end a total professional. Highly recommend.

Superb experience, I highly recommend this contractor. Owner James called back immediately, came the day agreed upon at the exact time, provided a quote directly after reviewing and measuring. He precisely honored the quote and the timeline, pulled the permit in very short order, had his crew here for removal of the old fence and installation of the new within hours of his call that the permit had been approved, and within the two following days had the new fence and gates fully installed. The quality is excellent, gates work flawlessly, the staged corner areas are stunning, his pricing was very competitive, and his crew was lovely and courteous and did an excellent job. Angie's List is a wonderful venue for providers who have a strong work ethic and a high standard of quality to gather one review after another until buyers like myself are comfortable. I love the List and I am very very pleased with this provider. Many thanks James, we will definitely both recommend you and use you again!

After reading the reviews on him I decided to have James install my fence. He stated that he needed a survey to begin the process and that it would take 3-4 weeks to get the permit. The contract was signed Sept 10th, James started on time, Oct 12th. He completed the job within the week. Each stage of the job was done with precision. Three men to take it down the fence including James himself. Mike was the installer, who informed me at each stage of the process. Each stage was done with precision and meticulous workmanship. It was level from end to end and straight. Also, the gates worked perfectly. Thank you James.

I found James on Angieslist and hired him because of the rave reviews. I was not let down. James is a genuine class act. Everything was done exactly how he said it would be done and the fence looks great. He took care of everything very professionally. He performed the job on time as described. I would absolutely recommend him and I will be using him again in the future.

The job went flawlessly despite the need to obtain more permits than usual because the job was in a regulated airport. Sonshine kept is informed and when the permits were ready the installation went very fast. High quality job - would use them again anytime.

He has been very responsive to our questions and we begin work next month.

After ruminating over selecting a fencing contractor and getting HOA approval, I called Sonshine Fencing, largely on the reviews from Angie's List. So far, I have been nothing but satisfied. Within two days, the owner, James, came out to give us a price. He was on-time and answered all of our questions. He even made a few suggestions that would keep the cost lower. While we were responsible for the HOA application, James provided us with all the information and documentation necessary to complete the application. The process was very easy. The HOA approval took three weeks, the time it took for the approval committee to meet. On James' advice, we did not sign a contract until after we received HOA approval. In the meantime, James had cleared the project with all of the appropriate utility companies, necessary for obtaining a permit. The day after receiving HOA approval, a Saturday, James stopped by to execute the contract and reaffirm his original price. To date, we have been completely satisfied. James has been responsive, punctual, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. We could not be happier. UPDATE 10/1/13 - Installation completed today, well within the proposed time frame. The installation crew consulted with us at each step to ensure we were all on the same page. They were deliberate with the installation, checking and rechecking fence levels at each step. The result was outstanding and the three gates open and close with ease. We have already gotten numerous complements from our neighbors. We would recommend Sonshine Fence without hesitation.

Called James and left a message and he called back within an hour. Came out that day and gave me an estimate on Aluminum fencing for my front yard and bringing my chain link fence up to pool code. Sonshine Fence was able to do the chain link fence repair within two days knowing that I had a final pool inspection the following week. James was a pleasure to deal with and I would not hesitate to use him again!

James, the owner, was professional throughout the whole process, returning phone calls, estimate, pulling permit, and installation. His crew, led by Mike, was also professional. They replaced a fence across the back property line, and installed a new fence and gate on the side of the house. It was a 2 day project and went smoothly, even with a little rain. The fence is perfection. The top line is perfectly straight from end to end, and the pickets are perfectly aligned vertically. This is a top quality company. I highly recommend them.
