Response from Sonshine Fence Co
Im curious if you guys got my last email??? Permitting is required, no matter the price, if new posts are installed in the ground, this is considered a new permanent structure and thus needs a new permit... I can't jeopardize my license for a few bucks, as I know better... as I stated in the email, many fencers would still jump at the chance to do this job without a new permit, and I'm sure it may work out fine... in the small chance it doesn't work out fine, there is no way I could incur the risk... also I requested to see a property survey from you guys, however Im not sure you have one? Even if permitting wasn't an issue, Im not going to assume that a certain location would be acceptable to install a fence (even if it was previously installed there, it may have been a do it yourself job that was installed over a property line for all I know)... Once we we're on the same page, I was hoping to meet up with you guys to give you a quote... withouth the survey, and being on the same page in regards to permitting, we would unfortunately be doing nothing but wasting our times! Last thing I'd like to mention, If I took permission cues from what HOA's said was allowed, I would have lost my license long ago! -James
